“Absolutely could not be happier or more grateful for Margarita and her family. The whole process was super easy and after the meet and greet I left feeling 100% confident that bubba would be in great hands. Then traveling back home from Sioux Falls, we get hammered by blizzard conditions. The last 20 miles before finally giving up, I could barely see the lines on the road, let alone any cars in front of me. So we pulled off and checked in to a hotel. Thankfully Margarita was SUPER understanding and reassuring. I was in a bit of a panic worrying about this and that, and the fact that Loki didn't have to be one of those worries was a huge relief. When we finally made it back the next day I could tell he wasn't super thrilled about leaving, which is always what you want to see. (And with that massive yard, I can't blame him!) Will definitely be "boarding" with her and her family again in the future! Super communicative with updates and photos to put our minds at ease.”

Our property is not fenced, so dogs will never be allowed to roam outside unsupervised. I’m more than happy to use a secure in-ground tie-out for dogs who are comfortable with one, or keep them leashed whenever we’re outside. I understand that every dog has their own routine, personality, and comfort level, so I’ll always follow your instructions and do my best to make your pup feel safe, loved, and at home while they’re in my care. About: Hi, I am Joie, an experienced and caring pet sitter, dog foster, and owner of Dogwood Bed & Biscuit. I have had furry family members my whole life and have also been a dog foster for over 15 years. I just absolutely love all animals. I strive to provide a safe, fun home for the little dogs under 40 lbs. Ages 12 weeks to senior. I am experienced administering meds. Dogs are welcome to sleep wherever they are most comfortable, and I have more toys than most pet stores, as well as dog beds scattered throughout the house. I also have a dog door to the backyard; dogs are welcome to come and go to enjoy the sun in a safe, fenced-in yard or stay inside snuggled in a cozy bed. I can provide a kennel if the owner prefers. I will accept unneautered/unspayed pups but will not sit more than one at a time. I host meet-and-greets with all new families to ensure I am a good fit for your pup. I do work downtown in the afternoons on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays, but am home all day on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and weekends. I do not offer house-sitting or drop-ins, but I am available for dog daycare and boarding. I can also possibly provide pickups and drop-offs within a certain radius for an additional fee. About: I have been around dogs and cats for many years, and some farm animals. I currently have two adult cats and one young dog. We live on 5.5 acres that are fenced-ish, but the yard is certainly not escape proof. My dog Scribble loves to play, especially with new dog buddies. He never gets tired. We have loop trails through meadow and woods all year round on the homestead but will also explore all of Dodge Center with pups on leash walks. I will also try obstacle courses and other games depending on what your dog is up for. I have yet to meet a cat I could not draw out at least a little. For dogs, we will have to try a temperament test with Scribble, who always wants to play more. I can offer boarding on weekends only because I am at my day job for long days Monday through Friday. I can offer pet drop in visits or dog walks in the evening year-round as long as your dog will share a walk with Scribble. A quick cat visit is easy any evening. Your pup's weekend will involve play sessions, games, leash walks and possibly unleashed walks and play, and exploring with exercise. Until I know your dog can be trusted off-leash and we explore the full property a few times, we will do leash walks only on our loop trails (about 20 minutes casual pace to walk them all). Our field is great for playing and offers lots of space to run around. There is always plenty to sniff and explore, with a trail around a pond, and many rabbits, squirrels, birds and deer about. Scribble never gets tired of exploring, and neither will your pet, even if we stay on leash. For cats, I can set up a private spare room and time to explore chaperoned. A private room will have a human bed, cat beds, catnip mats, and at least one climbing tower. Your cat will need to be okay with my guys hissing under the door initially and Scribble coming around to say hi with his tail wagging.

About: Ever since I was a kid I was bring home stray cats to nursery back to health. I am still doing it back in September I found my current cat Jup outside in with a really young kitten. Unfortunately the kitten was too sick so we found it a better home equipped to take care of it need but we had to keep Jup.

When I get him he is always a happy puppy and I can tell he is well taken care of. He comes home and he likes to take naps afterward, poor puppy having so much fun with her dogs and her cute youn son. Nice open space for Spike to walk on leash and not worry about his safety. “BOOK WITH THEM! Our puppy is our baby and we were nervous about dropping her off to play with other dogs without our supervision. We did a meet and greet with Morgan & Jennifer and they were absolutely incredible. They immediately treated Murphy like she was their own dog. When it came to daycare day, they sent us so many photos & videos. When I went to pick up Murphy, they told us how the day went. Murphy didn’t want to leave because she had so much fun! About: My husband and I are former dog foster parents and love meeting/spending time with new dogs! We have one resident (foster fail!) dog: Tesha, a rambunctious tripod who loves people. We especially love older dogs in our house but are open to dogs 1 year and up. We have a fully fenced in backyard and a tie out available for outside play time. We have space to keep dogs separated if you have a dog that is shy or needs very slow introductions (we have a three level home). Our resident pup is allowed on our bed if she chooses, but we have plenty of dog beds around too, and we do not allow dogs on our couch. We will do our very best to accommodate your pups needs and keep you updated on how your four legged family member is doing while you are away! I currently work from home and am able to take breaks to allow potty and attention breaks. My husband is also home most of the time and will be available when I am not. We like to do slow introductions to other dogs to ensure the comfort of our resident dogs and the visiting pups. We have the space to crate or allow roaming on separate levels if needed.

About: I've always loved dogs. I've spent five years working at a dog shelter as office manager, intake person which includes giving oral and injection medications, adoption coordinator, feeding and watering, cleaning, and socializing. I'm available during the week before 9am and after 1pm. Weekends are open. I work at the humane society but don't get to interact with the furry friends. I miss them! Also, I enjoy nature walks and stop as often as the dogs do to look at things. :) My schedule is flexible. About: I’ve taken care of other animals since I was 6. I had multiple dogs and cats growing up that I helped care for daily. I have dog-sat and cat-sat for family and friends whenever needed. I now have a growing kitten that I’ve been caring for over the last year. I’m currently a 4th grade teacher in Owatonna and am looking to add a part-time job to keep me busy on the weekends and during vacations from school. I’m very free during the week, on weekends, and after school days. I’m willing to spend as much time with pets as needed and show them human compassion. About: I've intermittently assisted my sister at her pet grooming business over the past 10+years. This time is also when I started watching dogs for some of her clients and I then found clients of my own through word of mouth. I've stayed in people's homes with their pets, I've had pets stay at my home. I have experience with puppies to senior dogs, kittens to senior cats. I have experience with toy breeds to Giant breeds. Domestic felines to hybrid. I grew up on a farm and have been around animals my entire life livestock, wildlife and pets, I have a deep love and respect for them. I've always had a pet dog/cat or both.. currently both. My schedule is currently very open daily, weekly, weekends very flexible. I intend to prioritize pet care in hopes of building a good business base for the near future. Pets in my care get all the love and attention. Vet name and number, emergency contact, medications list needed... I have out door tie outs, a zip line tie out, out door kennel, 2 indoor kennels, I'll let your pet sleep in my bed if it's sad. I want the pets to always be as comfortable and stress free as possible, so whatever that looks like for them is what I'll provide.
About: HELLO! I have been taking care of all kinds of dogs from pups to senior pets who have special needs. I have done stuff like this ever since I was in middle school. I am very flexible with my time. I do have a cat allergy but that won’t stop me from that either! I’m always here to help you’re best friend 😊 Im very flexible with my schedule for a couple months! I can do early mornings to late nights. I’m always able to help with anything! I’m very detail oriented and need straightforward instructions in order to properly care for a pet. About: I’ve taken care of my Tibetan Mastiff since before I can remember, and I’m my go-to neighborhood dog walker/caretaker. I love all shapes and sizes of dogs! I’m currently an online student at MNSU, so anytime during the weekday for boarding and walking is entirely open. Weekends work for specific dates and times. I have a reliable mode of transportation and I love taking care of animals. Whether it’s bathing, feeding, walking, or just sitting with a dog, I love to be there. I’ll follow your instructions closely, including feeding schedules, walking routines, medications or other care instructions you provide. I’m also big on communication and will send updates and photos so you know how your pet is doing. For pets staying with me, I’ll make sure they have a clean, comfortable environment, regular bathroom breaks, exercise, attention, and plenty of time to settle in and feel comfortable.
About: We have had the pleasure of owning a small business called "Pet-Inn" and boarded many dogs! Me and my mom took care of others dogs for quite some time and really enjoyed it. This experience helped me become passionate about entrepreneurship as well as working towards a compassionate connection with your pets! I currently have a part-time small business I'm running apart from being a "SAHM" so I will have plenty of time to get to know your beloved pet and get to know them so I can take care of them in the best way I know possible! The whole process was super easy and after the meet and greet I left feeling 100% confident that bubba would be in great hands. Then traveling back home from Sioux Falls, we get hammered by blizzard conditions. The last 20 miles before finally giving up, I could barely see the lines on the road, let alone any cars in front of me. So we pulled off and checked in to a hotel. Thankfully Margarita was SUPER understanding and reassuring. I was in a bit of a panic worrying about this and that, and the fact that Loki didn't have to be one of those worries was a huge relief. Since I already have a Golden Retriever of my own, our home is very dog-friendly and we naturally have plenty of dog toys, supplies, and space for pups to feel comfortable. Our property is not fenced, so dogs will never be allowed to roam outside unsupervised. I’m more than happy to use a secure in-ground tie-out for dogs who are comfortable with one, or keep them leashed whenever we’re outside. I understand that every dog has their own routine, personality, and comfort level, so I’ll always follow your instructions and do my best to make your pup feel safe, loved, and at home while they’re in my care. Before their stay, I’d love for you to tell me a little about your pup—their personality, daily routine, favorite things, any quirks or tendencies they may have, and anything else you think I should know. About: I have been around dogs and cats for many years, and some farm animals. I currently have two adult cats and one young dog. We live on 5.5 acres that are fenced-ish, but the yard is certainly not escape proof. My dog Scribble loves to play, especially with new dog buddies. He never gets tired. We have loop trails through meadow and woods all year round on the homestead but will also explore all of Dodge Center with pups on leash walks. I will also try obstacle courses and other games depending on what your dog is up for. I have yet to meet a cat I could not draw out at least a little. For dogs, we will have to try a temperament test with Scribble, who always wants to play more. I can offer boarding on weekends only because I am at my day job for long days Monday through Friday. I can offer pet drop in visits or dog walks in the evening year-round as long as your dog will share a walk with Scribble. A quick cat visit is easy any evening. Your pup's weekend will involve play sessions, games, leash walks and possibly unleashed walks and play, and exploring with exercise. Until I know your dog can be trusted off-leash and we explore the full property a few times, we will do leash walks only on our loop trails (about 20 minutes casual pace to walk them all). Our field is great for playing and offers lots of space to run around. There is always plenty to sniff and explore, with a trail around a pond, and many rabbits, squirrels, birds and deer about. Scribble never gets tired of exploring, and neither will your pet, even if we stay on leash. For cats, I can set up a private spare room and time to explore chaperoned. A private room will have a human bed, cat beds, catnip mats, and at least one climbing tower. Your cat will need to be okay with my guys hissing under the door initially and Scribble coming around to say hi with his tail wagging.

About: I have taken care of all types of animals since the age of 12. Most recently I have been working for almost a year at a dog boarding facility. I also own 3 dogs and 2 cats who have always been around other animals and are all up to date on vaccines I work from home and work Friday and Saturday during the mornings. If I am able to help I will definitely help in any way I can just message me I have a fenced yard and plenty of room for playing. I have baby gates around our home for the pups and keep all animals near at all time
About: I’m a caring person who loves dogs and grew up with a lab. I have experience with taking care of friends puppies and senior dogs. I love to play hard with them so they can sleep good for you! I can walk dogs before I go to work and, take them out immediately when I get back home. I will also make sure they are being fed at the right times. I’m happy to transport pets and have them stay at my apartment for up to a week. I will provide long walks with them on leash and follow procedures at a client’s home. Making sure that the pet is comfortable is a top priority for me.

I do have a lab/ pit mix, Oso. He is very sweet and loves having other dogs over! For house sitting, I will leave him at home with my partner.
