She came over before we left to meet them, go over the instructions, and understand where everything is and what needed to be done while we were gone. She spent enough time to play with both cats and give them some much-needed attention. We appreciated her pictures and updates on how the cats were doing. Both of them were comfortable with Leann and were very friendly with her. We are very happy with how she did and plan to use Leann again in the future as our primary cat-care person.”
About: I have spent my whole life with dogs, caring for our family dogs over the years and dog sitting for friends. I enjoy going on long walks and would love to have a buddy join me, big or small. I’m a graduate student and tend to be available either before 9am or after 5pm. I spend a good amount of time working from my apartment but sometimes have to unexpectedly run into the lab. I’m typically more free during the days on the weekend. I live in an apartment, and will not be able to host dogs here. the apartment is dog friendly so there is a chance i could bring a dog over temporarily, but not overnight. (though I wish i could!)

About: I've had more than 2 dogs in my home my entire life, from 8 week old puppies to seniors. I have experience giving the dogs medicine when they need it. I work part time at a retail store, so I am never working more than 9 hours at a time, I usually only work 4-5 hours normally. I make the pets my priority when I am caring for them and I watch their behaviors so I can catch anything out of the ordinary. I follow feeding directions and potty schedules.

About: My husband and I have raised 4 “rescued” dogs and one purebred during our 18 years together. We loved them all unconditionally and enjoyed all the time we had with them. We each had dogs in our prior 30 years of childhood and raising children. They were all amazing pets and we loved them as family. We had great friends who were able to take care of our dogs when we needed to go away and we are so thankful for that. I was never able to consider putting ours in a kennel. NOTE: I am very sorry to note that I have allergies so we can only accept hypoallergenic dogs for care in our home. So sorry, we love them all, but I am unable to care for other breeds in our home. If you are unsure about allergies, we could do a meet and greet to figure it out.. We dont miss an opportunity to say hello to a dog passing by on the sidewalk, admire from a distance as we’re waiting at a stoplight or any public place. I currently own an 8-year-old Siberian Husky named Storm, so I have extensive experience caring for large, energetic dogs and understanding their exercise needs. We have a large, fully fenced private backyard where dogs can safely play and explore. We also have two young children, so we only accept dogs that are friendly, gentle, and comfortable around kids. My goal is to make every dog feel safe, happy, and at home while their owners are away. We also spend time in our large fenced-in backyard, which gives additional safe space for activity and play. Because I’m home during the day, I’m able to be flexible and responsive to a dog’s needs—whether that’s extra potty breaks, attention, or adjusting activity based on energy level or weather. Overall, pet care fits very naturally into our household rhythm and is already an important part of our daily family routine. We start the day with feeding, potty breaks, and a walk, and we typically do at least one longer walk each day to make sure our dog gets enough exercise and mental stimulation. Since we have an 8-year-old Siberian Husky, we’re very familiar with meeting the needs of high-energy dogs and making sure they stay active and engaged. Throughout the day, pets are part of our home environment. Because I am a stay-at-home mom to two young children, I’m home and available to provide regular supervision, attention, and outdoor breaks as needed. About: The two loves of my life were my dog, Abby, and my dog Bronx. Abby was a Siberian husky and Bronx a 15” lemon beagle. Bronx was part of my life for 20 years and just recently passed. I honestly can’t imagine a life without animals in it, and one day I wanna be able to reflect back on my life, knowing that I did as much as I could to help as many animals as possible, which is why becoming a part of ROVER is so appealing. I have an incredibly flexible work schedule that will enable me to schedule my work hours around my hours caring for animals. About: I have helped out with friends and family’s pets for a few years. I feed, walk, bathe their pets. Love to play with them with their toys and sometimes give them treats if owner allows. I’m currently wide open with my time, flexible and able to work around your schedule with your pets. I am available during the week and weekends. In both scenarios, safety, trust, and the environment are paramount. In my home, I maintain a secure and pet-friendly environment, free from hazards. For clients' homes, I conduct thorough assessments to ensure a safe setting for their pets. I adhere strictly to any instructions provided by the pet owners, maintaining routines and environments familiar to the pets to minimize stress. About: I’ve worked with dogs and cats in many different ways. I have owned dogs my entire life, plus a few cats. I volunteer at the Humane Society in Kansas City while at school where I work directly with the shelter dogs. I have house sat for multiple family friends and am ready to take on new pups and cats! I am currently home from school for the summer so am looking to fill the time. I work part time as a server a few times a week. During the day I often just workout, read a book, or hang with my own dogs. I have fostered a dog before and can adjust well to your dogs needs. I’ve practiced crate training, furniture restrictions, and other small training tasks. My house has an open yard which my dogs are free to run around in when they are not on leash to go potty.

I'm currently working part-time as well as attending university, so my schedule may be busy, but I am more than willing to work around it to accommodate for proper pet care. My Sundays are always open and Fridays are usually open as well. Let's work something out! I live in a safe, well-secured apartment complex beside a golf course, so plenty of room to give walks if needed. I also have two kitties with separate rooms, based on if your furry friend needs company or just some alone time! I am committed to ensuring that every pet is happy and healthy and feels safe in its environment.
