About: I've cared for a total of 8 kitties in my lifetime, from the daily feeding and litter scooping to claw trimming to intensive palliative care, and the 12 weeks of injections for Minky's FIP (she is totally healthy now!), and Poppy's twice daily epilepsy meds. I can handle any and all of it! Now I have 3 cats. Moki, my 16 yo boy, Minky, who's 3, and Poppy, the youngest at 2 years old. We all love our play sessions, whether that's with their wand and feather toy, their colorful springs, or exploring the outdoors in their harnesses. I will prioritize play if your kitty is comfortable with it!

“Thank you soooooo much, Liz, for sitting with Patches. Not once did I have to worry about Patches!! Thank you for being able to add more time to your schedule without hesitation. YOU ARE THE BEST!!!”

About: Have much patience as I helped raise litters of puppies from 17 on, experience with IVDD (intervertebral disk disease) paralyzed, expressing bladders, dog grooming assistant for 2 yrs, cancer/kidney failure, comfort cares, giving meds, behavior/aggression issues and more :) Currently work another part time flexible job. I don’t have a sitter for my dog so I would have to bring him along if it’s for an extended stay. He is very dog and cat friendly. I am a hard worker and learn things quickly. Pets have always been my passion to be around :) I always feed my pets before myself and they go out to use restroom the same most times. Safety is my top priority! Respect their space and property always.

About: I am currently working towards a bachelor's in Animal Behavior and Welfare, as interacting with animals and learning about them is a passion of mine. I greatly enjoy learning to care for them and then doing so. The degree im working towards is focused on the care of animals while educating the public about them. I grew up with a dog and have had many small animals as pets throughout my life, rodents, fish, insects, arachnids, frogs, etc. Currently I have 3 reptiles and two cats. Willow-Wisp, and Boiled-Egg are my cats. My corn snake is Copper, Blue Tongued Skink is Little-Dude, and Tripod is my leopard gecko. Both Boiled-Egg and Tripod have medical conditions that require at home management and care which has given me some skills in caring for animals with disabilities. They are not the only animal I have history caring for with medical issues either. Many of my experience with pets has been rescue pets, and I have had plenty practice and patience regarding them and behaviors post trauma. I am more than willing to learn about your pets needs and help medical or otherwise. I am currently focusing on college and have plenty of time to help care for your animals. The only day I will be unavailable is Sunday. I have a fenced in yard and half the house closes off by doors so the cats will not interact with your animals unless you are comfortable with it. Depending on your animals preferance I can ensure that I spend time with them or give them the space to feel comfortable and settle in. Any and all expectations set regarding their care and what food, toys, or treats they are allowed will of course be followed. I may have treats of my own I could offer them but will only do so with your approval and in amounts you allow. I do haveextra food and water bowels if you would prefer to use those rather than bringing your own. In the case something awful were to happen I have experience bringing animals to emergency.
“We honestly couldn’t have asked for a better experience with Rachel and her wonderful family! They looked after Jack while we attended a wedding, and from the moment we met them, we knew he was in the best hands. Rachel was incredibly kind, caring, and thoughtful, and her whole family made Jack feel completely at home. It was so reassuring knowing he was being loved and cared for as if he were part of their own family. We could relax and enjoy the wedding knowing he was so happy and comfortable. Jack was so well looked after, and it’s clear Rachel genuinely loves and cares for the dogs she watches. We are beyond grateful for everything she did and would recommend her to absolutely anyone looking for someone trustworthy, loving, and amazing with dogs. Thank you again, Rachel!”

“I really didn’t know what to expect from using an app to find a sitter for my exuberant 7yo GSD. While scrolling through the site, I was surprised by how many qualified people were offering their services! I quickly found who I needed, largely due to Rover’s platform, which I found to be both concise and intuitive and extremely well thought out! Fast forward to meeting with our prospective sitters, Nate & Laura. I instantly felt confident that this was going to be a good choice for me and my guy Rukus. I am happy to report that upon finishing our first week that everything went incredibly smoothly. Nate & Laura’s friendly, professional, calm vibe are exactly what I had hoped for in a sitter for my guy! I also really enjoy the pictures that they share with me! If I could give my pup’s host family more than 5 stars, I would. If I could give this experience - the app, the process, the people more than 5 stars, I would do that too!”

“Peter was super responsive, flexible, helpful and sent lots of photos and videos. He has a nice deck where the dogs get to play. When River was frightened of the 4th of July fireworks, he had her in his lap and soothed her. Couldn't ask for more!”

“Christina is a fantastic dog sitter! She has a big yard for the dogs to play in and trails for them to run on, and puts a lot of care into making sure everyone get along well. She is responsive and easy to communicate with, and I would trust her with taking perfect care of any pup!”

“Patty S. took good care of Marvin! Patty was very accommodating with a short notice scheduling and also some last minute changes in pick-up time. We look forward to having Marvin stay with her again!”

“Definitely will be using Casey again! Just after one day Ava was better at going on walks and staying focused on the activity we were doing. She definitely will be back!”

“Nicole is great to work with. She is very good with my dog. She takes him to dog parks and on walks and when he comes home, he is tired! She is knowledgeable and has shared some tips with me which I really appreciate. She communicates with me during the day and sends lots of pictures. I am very grateful to have found her!”

About: Hi there! My name is Savannah (or Sav for short!) and I’ve worked in pet care for 6 years in Minneapolis before moving to Duluth, resulting in completing hundreds of walks and dozens of sittings- and I love what I do! I also am the dog mom of a spunky 11 year old German Shepard mix. I understand the need for detailed and compassionate care, especially in the winter and summer when extra resources like dog boots or extra water may be needed. The pets I’ve had in my care lately range from pit bulls and labs to pugs and even older dogs. I am excited to meet your dog! I spend all day, everyday walking dogs of all ages and breeds. Pet care is my full time job and I love what I do! Many dogs feel most comfortable in their own home so I am happy to provide sittings in your home to care for your pet the way you would! I have experience training and specific requests, like administering medications. I always will treat your pet with the utmost care and respect!
“My dog had a fantastic time at Jamie's! He got to play with lots of toys, go for walks, and lounge around with new human buds. He went back a second day and was excited to see everybody, which is always a great sign! Jamie & her husband have a knack for dogs and are clearly comfortable with their quirks. I absolutely recommend them for all your dog care needs!!”

“I was in a real pinch and needed somewhere to bring my dog Ruger on extremely short notice and Aneesa was able to help and was so kind about it! Ruger was so well taken care of! She sent me pictures and updates and helped to make Ruger feel right at home! I can’t say thank you enough!! Would absolutely bring Ruger there again for care!”

About: I'm looking forward to providing quality loving care for YOUR beloved canine! I am a small animal Certified Veterinary Technician with over 15 years of clinical experience. I have expanded my services to include dog sitting due to an increased demand for compassionate caregivers with medical knowledge. Many people are reluctant to leave their dogs at boarding kennels while traveling, particularly senior dogs and those with medical problems. Many dogs also experience high levels of stress while boarding. I provide an alternative to the traditional kennel experience by providing care out of my own home. Dogs that stay as guests in my home are provided with lots of individual attention. They are not locked in kennels, instead having free access to my home and yard. As an experienced Veterinary Technician I am also capable of caring for dogs with a broad range of medical issues, including Diabetes, Cushing's, Addison's, Epilepsy, Cancer, animals recovering from recent surgery, and more. Should your pet require emergency medical care, I am trained in animal CPR and live 5 minutes away from the clinic at which I practice. I care for dogs of all breeds, sizes, ages, and personalities. There are however, a few prerequisites to ensure that your dog will have a safe, happy stay in my care. Firstly, I an unable to care for dogs that have a history of aggression toward other dogs, or toward human adults or children. No exceptions. Secondly, dogs in my care must be current on Rabies and Distemper vaccinations. I also require proof of a negative fecal sample performed within 1 year prior to their stay if regular dewormings are done (i.e. year-round HeartGard). Dogs that are not regularly dewormed must have a fecal check done within 1 month prior to their stay, or perform a deworming treatment within 1 month prior. Puppies must be fully house trained. Rachel B. Certified Veterinary Technician I treat pets like family! Dogs who stay in my home are given lots of playtime and attention. I try to keep routines similar to what they are used to at their own home. Dogs are fed separately for safety but otherwise have free range of the home. I am an experienced animal nurse and well equipped to handle an emergency if one should arise!

“Heather and her family did such an amazing job with Edie. They helped her ease into a new environment and gave her lots of love and affection. Heather sent many updates during the day and in all the pictures Edie looked happy and content. When Edie got home she was exhausted from a day of fun. I would recommend Heather to anyone looking for care for their pup!”

“Courtnie is absolutely fantastic! My little guy is usually a bit skittish when going to a new home for day care but he warmed up extremely well with Courtnie and her dogs! She is super accommodating and incredible when it comes to the care of dogs, very highly recommended her! Thank you so much!! ?”

About: I simply adore animals! I will provide loving, playful, patient, high quality care that will leave your fur babies begging for more! I am able to administer medications and general care as specified. I also offer nail/claw trims for dogs and cats for $20. Just check the bathing/grooming box. I prioritize play, so even drop ins will get plenty of entertainment! Supervised puzzle feeds, or playing with favorite toys, or whatever pops up in the moment. Pup-led play is usually the most fun! My schedule is fairly open most of the time, but I am going to be starting trade school to become a barefoot specialist for equines sometime in 2026. I need a flexible work schedule so I can trim my case study horses, and the horses I already trim for a friend. - REGARDING OVERNIGHT STAYS! My rates are for ONE 12 hr overnight visit. If you need me for consecutive nights with drop ins during the day, my rates increase to cover each drop in. Walks, nail trims, daily brushing are also an additional cost. These additional charges will be discounted, not my full rate. Let's discuss it 😃 My kitties and I enjoy a peaceful life out in the country. We're new to it, and it's not our house, so I am not currently offering boarding or doggy daycare. I am incredibly respectful of others' spaces. I follow the 'leave no trace' hiking guideline into clients' homes! I respect privacy and will never invite strangers in or take photos for any other reason than to update you, the owner.
About: Living on a farm, I have a lot of experience interacting with animals of all kinds. Running a farm of any size is not a one person job so my family is a big part of my life. I can’t imagine a better place to live doing something I love. Pet care is an integral part of my daily routine. Whether it is feeding and watering our chickens and cows or grooming our dogs, I work hard to ensure our animals are cared for. I am a stay at home mom so your four legged friends will rarely be left alone. I work hard to follow any instructions owners may give me. Additionally, I make sure all animals in our care have access to food, water, and love. I also like to take a few pictures of what we are up to send them to people so they know their pet is getting loved and cared for.
About: I have owned my dogs since they were puppies and trained them myself for general commands as sit, down and come, and also potty training. I also grew up with cats. I also used to have a roommate where I would assist in the care of her German Shepherd as well who does not do well with strangers, which makes me used to big dogs that seem scary and can pull if they want to. I have one dog of my own currently and a toddler. We live in our own home in town with a fenced yard. I have already had COVID-19 and also am fully vaccinated for COVID-19. I currently work full time 9-5 job Monday-Friday straight. I can easily schedule drop ins and walks fitting around this schedule as my regular schedule is extremely predictable. I’m flexible in needing to leave work early if I need to on certain days and may be able to accommodate for last minute changes in your needs. I am comfortable with both shy and overly exitable pets of all sizes and can match their energy and needs. I will take pets on outings and work with training on request.
“Amber is the best! I'm so happy with how it's going with my pups! My chihuahua-dachshund is impossible to walk but just a couple of weeks of walking with Amber and he's walking without pulling!!”

About: I've been around pets my whole life from growing up with 3 dogs to adopting a sweet black lab Diamond as a young adult. Diamond passed away in April of 2023 and I've since got my dog fix dog boarding for friends, family and Rover clients doing one of my all-time favorite things - running, adventures and play with dogs! I pride myself in sending lots of photos and updates with consistency, taking time for a daily walk and run (if they're up for it!), and providing a safe space (no other animals or kids living in the house, fenced in yard, dog-proof everything, etc...). I have a flexible schedule, I try to run daily anyways, and my house is dog-proofed with a fence. I'm ready to provide a safe, comfortable and fun space for your pet to get quality care and exercise. I live in East Hillside Duluth with great access to paved and off-road walking/running routes. My house has a fenced in yard and I have cultivated a pet-proof home over the years. I am a strict on-leash walker/runner.

I am able to do anything to make your pet feel loved, safe, and comfortable in my care. This will require clear and direct communication about your pets character and habits to ensure your pet is happy and comfortable.
About: Hi! My name is Mara, and I would love the opportunity to care for your pets and your home while you’re away. I have grown up with multiple dogs and have always loved being around animals. Over the years, I have also provided dog sitting and house sitting for neighbors and family members, caring for pets in their own homes, following their routines, and making sure they receive plenty of attention, exercise, and companionship. I understand that every pet has their own personality, preferences, and needs. Whether your dog loves long walks, playtime, cuddles, or simply having someone nearby, I will take the time to make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and cared for. I also have experience providing more specialized care, including administering IV medication for an elderly animal I was watching. This experience taught me the importance of patience, responsibility, attention to detail, and following care instructions carefully. My background working in childcare, summer camps, and other safety-focused roles has helped me become dependable, organized, and attentive. I will treat your pets like they are my own and your home with the same respect I would want someone to show mine. I am happy to provide updates and photos so you can have peace of mind while you’re away. I am currently a full-time online student, which gives me a flexible schedule and allows me to dedicate plenty of time and attention to caring for your pets. I am available for walks, drop-ins, and house sitting, and I am happy to work with your pet’s routine to provide consistent and reliable care. I care for pets by keeping their routines consistent and making sure they feel safe, comfortable, and loved while their owners are away. I am happy to provide updates and photos so owners can have peace of mind knowing their pets are well cared for.

About: I have owned dogs my entire life. I grew up with long haired dachshunds. I have also owned labs, a Dalmatian, huskies, you name it. I love big cuddly dogs the most, but will love up on the smallest to the biggest dog the same. I also have a big heart for senior pets. I work full-time during the week but I am always on the go and able to help with pet sitting, dog walking, helping with caring for animals as needed. About: I have been a pet sitter for friends and family for years! My brother has three German shepherds that I dog sit every time he goes out of town. I have also dog sat for small and medium size dogs too! When I was in high school I took care of someone's kitten within my home for 6 months and it was a life changing experience! I absolutely adore all pets. My new roommate is very allergic to dogs and cats so I am trying to find my pet fix somewhere! Spending time with dogs and cats reduces stress for me and is something that I highly value. I am an adaptable person who can handle any and all needs! Also, I am a very active person and would love to take your pups on runs! I just moved in with someone who is allergic to cats and dogs after living with these animals my entire life. Spending time with cats and dogs reduces my stress and anxiety. I couldn't imagine my life without being around pets so I thought becoming a pet sitter would be the perfect thing! I am an active person as well and growing up I would take my dog on runs. If that is something you would be interested in as well, I'm your girl! My old roommate whom I lived with for 3 years had a cat and we had a schedule for feeding him and cleaning his litter box. Living with him was such a joy! We would cuddle and play everyday. I would also give him fresh fish for treats! The other pets that I am around the most are my brothers German shepherds whom I take care of roughly 6 weekends a year. They are really big dogs that need a lot of food and exercise! They listen very well so we have established a routine that works well for everyone. They get let out to go to the bathroom and while they are out there I prepare all of their food dishes. Then I usually play fetch with them for awhile! When it is really nice out I let them stay outside for as long as they want. They love to come on runs with me, but I only take them one at a time or else I would be flying instead of running!

“Nathan & Laura were amazing!! They sent me lots of updates and photos and were true to their word...Star is exhausted from all the fun she had! I would definitely book with them again!”

“Riley’s loves to visit Peter and Barbara’s home and they make her feel like one of the family! She loves being around the other dogs they care for and it’s a fun social time for her. Riley is happy to be dropped off so that feels great!”

“Emily was wonderful throughout the whole experience. She invited us to her home to see how my dog would be before booking the stay. Throughout my dog's stay she sent pictures and updates on how he was doing. She was also very understanding of my flight issues I had and was very flexible. I'd recommend her to everyone.”
“Rachel and her family were amazing 😍. Our large puppers love being on the farm, and soaked up all the love and attention! We already have recommended her to our family. Rachel will be our first call when we need boarding again!”

“Heather was absolutely wonderful with Reka! She kept me updated with great communication, photos, and regular updates. Reka received so much love and attention from Heather, her kids, and even the neighbors. She had a blast playing with other dogs and was truly treated like a princess. I couldn’t have asked for a better sitter—highly recommend!”

“We boarded our dog Astro with Kaylee for two weeks in October. She took excellent care of him, and he clearly was fond of Kaylee and David, and felt very comfortable staying with them. Kaylee texted me photos of Astro daily, which made my separation anxiety a little easier to handle! I would highly recommend Kaylee as a caretaker for your pooch.”

“Amazing experience. I had a last minute booking, and Morgan was able to take Bailey for 10 days. Drop off and pick up was easy. Bailey got along great with her dogs and was able to play a ton. Bailey got exercise and attention daily. Morgan was great at giving updates and communicating. The property had tons of space to run around. Highly recommend booking with Morgan.”

“Our dog loved his stay with Patty (especially the big backyard)! She was very prompt and helpful in communicating, and did an excellent job caring for our slightly anxious boy. She also accommodated our last-minute booking and was flexible with drop off and pick up.”
“Esther was great with my dog (Taz). Taz was well-taken care of and treated like one of their own. He had fun with the family, and I was updated regularly on Taz's progress and activities. Esther's home is now the second home for Taz. Thanks again, Esther.”

“Rachel and Matthew did a great job watching Bailey ! They were very in tune to her really were pleasant and keep us informed during her stay. Their home is a great place to board a dog! I will use them again ! thanks for taking such good care of Bailey”
“Took care of my 6mo pup who was recently spayed. Made sure she didn't expend herself and irritate the incision, which is impressive considering my pup loves to jump and play with other dogs.”

“Our girls came home happy and tired! They seemed to make themselves at home right away and I’m so glad they were able to be part of a family while we were away! Good communication and flexibility throughout the stay, would definitely have them stay again!”

“Casey was great! Was flexible with all the schedule changes that had happened. I got pictures and videos the entire time. Knowing how they were doing and how much fun they were having let me enjoy my vacation while I was alway. Will definitely use him again.”

“Kate watched our dog for 5 days and did awesome! Fenced in yard helped me feel reassured. Our dog also had the opportunity to socialize with other dogs (and a cat) during the stay which he needed. Loved all the pictures throughout the stay! Thanks Kate!”

“Amber has been so wonderful and a lifesaver for my pooch and me. After fracturing my ankle, she came and picked up hanky for a few days while I was unable to properly take care of him. She brought him home when I was feeling better and now picking him up while I await surgery. I am so fortunate to have her and know my hanky boy is in good hands as I go through this. Thank you to her and her family for the help and support❤️”
