The whole process was super easy and after the meet and greet I left feeling 100% confident that bubba would be in great hands. Then traveling back home from Sioux Falls, we get hammered by blizzard conditions. The last 20 miles before finally giving up, I could barely see the lines on the road, let alone any cars in front of me. So we pulled off and checked in to a hotel. Thankfully Margarita was SUPER understanding and reassuring. I was in a bit of a panic worrying about this and that, and the fact that Loki didn't have to be one of those worries was a huge relief. When we finally made it back the next day I could tell he wasn't super thrilled about leaving, which is always what you want to see. (And with that massive yard, I can't blame him!) Will definitely be "boarding" with her and her family again in the future! Super communicative with updates and photos to put our minds at ease.”

About: I have been around cats since I was just a baby. I might be a little biased but I can’t get enough of cats! Growing up my mom had a Maine coon, he was the reason I fell in love with taking care of animals! Once he got old I would help administer medications. I also used to watch my neighbors cats that had some medical issues. I would have to give them pills and also eye drops. So if you have a baby that needs some medicine or extra care, I am more than comfortable. I have three cats of my own, they are my world! So I understand how much your fur baby’s mean to you!

About: I have 5 amazing dogs of my own, 1 pitbull, 2 American Eskimo mini and 2 Pomeranians. I had 2 liter of puppies from my dogs (1st liter was 10 pups, 2nd liter was 5 pups) and was able to raise them well for their furever home. I run a lot, so if your dog needs to exercise, you can count me in. Or simply needs a rest day, or any kind of special needs, I’m your girl. I work full time and have my own babies to care for, but I’m a super dog mom so I’m pretty flexible and prepared for anything. When I get him he is always a happy puppy and I can tell he is well taken care of. He comes home and he likes to take naps afterward, poor puppy having so much fun with her dogs and her cute youn son. Nice open space for Spike to walk on leash and not worry about his safety. “I am new to the area, and Chelsie was very close by. She responded promptly and communicated clearly. I brought Riley over, and Chelsie kindly met me at the car. I was having some difficulty with the long lead, and Riley immediately went up to her as if they had known each other for a long time. When Riley heard the dogs barking inside the house, she led Chelsie to the door, which was quite charming. I realized I forgot to mention something to Chelsie, but she responded right away. On my way back to pick up Riley, I got caught in traffic, so Chelsie graciously brought Riley out to me, and Riley happily got into the car without any issues. After we returned home, I noticed that Riley's card was filled out, and there was a detailed note, along with photos of Riley's day, showing that she had gone for a walk and played with her dogs. Overall, I would rate the experience as excellent, and Riley will definitely be visiting again.”

About: My husband and I are former dog foster parents and love meeting/spending time with new dogs! We have two resident (foster fail!) dogs: Ace, a shy pitbull who LOVES other dogs and Tesha, a rambunctious tripod who LOVES people. We especially love older dogs in our house but are open to dogs 1 year and up. We have a fully fenced in backyard and a tie out available for outside play time. We have space to keep dogs separated if you have a dog that is shy or needs very slow introductions (we have a three level home). Our resident pups are allowed on our bed if they choose, but we have plenty of dog beds around too, and we do not allow them on our couch. We will do our very best to accommodate your pups needs and keep you updated on how your four legged family member is doing while you are away! I currently work from home and am able to take breaks to allow potty and attention breaks. My husband is also home most of the time and will be available when I am not. We like to do slow introductions to other dogs to ensure the comfort of our resident dogs and the visiting pups. We have the space to crate or allow roaming on separate levels if needed.

About: I’ve had cats, dogs, Guinea pigs plus litters, rats plus litters, rabbits plus litters, bearded dragons, birds, mice, hamsters and I would love to watch any animals you have small to big, caged or not caged. From the age of 5 I have had dogs and I’ve always walked and taken care of other dogs in my building from taking them on walks to watching them for a week while the owner was away. I currently have 8 pets I care for daily and plus a toddler so I’m pretty experienced and honestly 8 just isn’t enough for me I have a dog and a cat to keep either species entertained and happy, I can offer as many walks a day as needed plus even trick training if needed.

Then traveling back home from Sioux Falls, we get hammered by blizzard conditions. The last 20 miles before finally giving up, I could barely see the lines on the road, let alone any cars in front of me. So we pulled off and checked in to a hotel. Thankfully Margarita was SUPER understanding and reassuring. I was in a bit of a panic worrying about this and that, and the fact that Loki didn't have to be one of those worries was a huge relief. When we finally made it back the next day I could tell he wasn't super thrilled about leaving, which is always what you want to see. (And with that massive yard, I can't blame him!) We both grew up in dog‑loving homes, and for the past 8 years we’ve been raising our own family dog from puppyhood into adulthood. That hands‑on experience has taught us everything from crate and potty training to maintaining consistent routines, managing energy levels, and providing calm, loving structure. What sets us apart is the balance of experience, patience, and true family-style care. We understand how to work with dogs at every stage — energetic puppies who need guidance and structure, adult dogs who thrive on routine and play, and senior dogs who need slower walks, gentle support, and extra comfort. We’re attentive, safety‑focused, and always tuned in to each dog’s unique personality and needs. Your dog will be welcomed into a warm, stable home where they get plenty of exercise, affection, and communication. We treat every pet as if they’re part of our own family, and we make sure you always feel informed and confident while they’re with us. My husband and I both work full time, but we still have great coverage for pet care throughout the week. My husband works from home on Mondays and Fridays, which allows for frequent walks, breaks, and plenty of attention during the day. My schedule is 7:00am–3:00pm, so I'm usually home earlier in the afternoon, and my husband works 8:00am–5:00pm. We provide a safe, calm, and welcoming home environment for every pup we host. Our fully fenced backyard is perfect for supervised outdoor play, and our friendly 8‑year‑old golden retriever loves having company and helps new dogs feel comfortable right away. Inside, dogs have plenty of space to relax and be part of our daily routine. We always supervise outdoor time, keep our home secure, and make sure each dog gets the right balance of attention, structure, and comfort. Your pup will be cared for like family and will feel right at home with us.
