“I had a last minute trip come up, and needed someone to watch my dog Nala on short notice. I rarely travel, and I work from home so I was a little worried about her separation anxiety. Amanda took amazing care of Nala, made sure she felt comfortable and safe. She provided regular photo updates, as well as keeping me informed of how Nala was eating and sleeping, which gave me a lot of peace of mind. Nala had a great time playing fetch, going for walks, and snuggling on the couch. Amanda even sent her home with a cute home-made treat box (all made of ingredients that were sensitive to Nala’s allergies!). About: I’ve watched family members cats before and I personally like it as much as dogs. Sometimes cats are easier and less maintenance which makes them more fun because you don’t have to look around the house for little accidents dogs might have.
About: I haven had dogs in my house and taken care of them since I was 7 years old. I've participated in training classes with my black lab as a puppy, as well as daily dog chores like walking, feeding, and brushing. I also have experience taking care of injured and elderly dogs. Along with caring for my own pets, I've also pet sat for neighbors and friends before. These visits included walks, play time, feeding, brushing, etc. This summer I have a part time nanny job, so I will have plenty of extra time to take care of your fur babies! I will be available weekdays after 4pm and all day on the weekends. I understand that dogs can be hesitant when stranger enter their home, but try to greet new pets slowly and friendly and give them all the sniffs they need.

At only 2 weeks old when we took her in, Muffin needed to be fed every 3-4 hours around the clock, and neither my husband nor I can work from home more than a day each week. Heidi came in clutch on the days we had to work in office, bottle feeding her, helping her potty, and playing with her during each visit. I had such peace of mind that Muffin was well cared for. About: When I was around 5 years old, apparently I would find pictures in books or on my mom’s desktop of cats and would BEG my parents for a cat. All I did all day was look at pictures of cats, but then my dad brought home Rambo. He is my 13 year old baby who I have absolutely adored ever since I first saw him. I’ve been a cat person all my life. Since I was little, the first thing I would do at someone’s house I hadn’t been to before was to ask if there were any cats around—I haven’t changed… I feel like I can get cats to like me, even if their owner says they’re mean, I don’t believe in that. I think that like any living being, trust needs to be earned, and for some of these beings it just takes a bit longer to learn how to warm up to others. I know mostly how cats operate and I know how to care for them and treat them based on their different personalities.

About: Dogs are lovable and a helping career is fulfilling. By helping humans with their canines I get the best of both worlds! Dogs have always been apart of my life, and recently we had our own 13yo mutt who came as a puppy, had a long full life, and passed away in my husband’s arms. About: I have fostered both dogs and cats in the past. From childhood to the present day, a home is not complete without some form of animal companion. I tend to be an early riser and am very flexible. Cleaning up after myself as well as your pets is my specialty. I enjoy camping and antiquing when there’s no critters to hang out with. I am familiar with many types of leash and collar. I prefer to keep a dog heeled on most of the walk, letting them run and play when it’s appropriate to do so. If you have a preferred method of control I’m happy to accommodate. I’m comfortable giving meds and have experience with all kinds of feeding. When sitting, I’d love to water your plants and get the mail-any little extras that you need. I often take my dad shopping or to doctor’s appointments, and set my own schedule with my other jobs. How long your pets can be left alone (if at all) is up to you! I’m great at following orders, especially written instructions; please tell me how you usually handle your pets so I can keep it consistent for them! I like to go for walks, and like it even more if I have company. I also always enjoy a good snuggle.

You may book two per day! •I’m always open to any extra needs or modifying for your situation!! I’m currently in law school and have class mid-day from August to May. I have mornings and evenings/nights open for drop in visits and dog walking during these months. From May to August, I work very early mornings 5x a week. I’m free 2pm and onwards during the summer months for drop-ins and dog walking services. I also stop by prior to my 6am start time for work to do drop-in visits as well. Please don’t be afraid to reach out for anything at all! •I always allow meet-and-greets for a quick 10 minute appointment (free) prior to any drop-ins or walking services so that I’m no stranger to you or your pet before I stop by for the first service. This also allows us to establish what needs your pet may have and your expectations for me. These aren’t mandatory to be able to book with me, just solely a comfort thing! •I remember the way pet items were stored in your home and return them back to the way they were after I’m done using them. •I always message you and ask for permission prior to entering any other part of the house that’s not necessary to the service. This rarely happens, but for example: a dog I came to walk was sleeping in the master bedroom so I messaged the owner first prior to retrieving him for our walk😂

About: I grew up on a farm where animals were my first friends. I’ve had pets my whole life and as a parent, my kids quickly learned that I could never say no when they wanted a pet. We’ve had fish, cockatiels, hamsters, parakeets, guinea pigs, cats, and a variety of dogs in our home. We currently have a cat and two German Shepherds. My weekends are mostly wide open and I’m available any time during weekdays since I’m off during the summers. I would love to help take care of your furry friends! About: I absolutely love dogs, grew up with a Shih Tzu Poodle and now my mom has a pure bred Shih Tzu that I steal from time to time (see picture). My boyfriend’s family has an English setter and a blue healer, so I love hunting/high energy dogs as well! I do work in office Mondays, Wednesdays and some Fridays which is about an hour commute. I am usually gone from 7:30-5 ish, so dogs who can be alone for that long work out well. I work fully from home Tuesdays and Thursdays so I can let them out whenever on those days. I live in a 2,200 sq ft town home, and a half fenced in yard. Just me and my boyfriend live here so no kids or other animals will be around. We do allow dogs on the furniture and they can sleep with us if they’d like, we like to snuggle

I am very comfortable with dogs and cats, including in my home, as we have a four-year old Frenchie, Odie, and two-year-old Boston Terrier, Marzipan. I am a work-from-home sports journalist who can leave the house, often at specific times, to meet your needs. I also have the flexibility to potentially stay at your home or be there during the day to interact with your animal, as I can work remotely as long as I have internet. I have been helping watch my friends' animals over the last 10-15 years, giving me plenty of experience to help with your animal and give them all the pets they want while I'm there! I am comfortable with doing things like giving medication, putting in a crate, take on walks, etc. Please feel free ot reach out if you have any questions! I am a work from home sports journalist with a very flexible schedule. I do have multiple YouTube shows I do each week where I would need to be in my office, but those are around 11 and 6 on both Mondays and Thursdays. I can do most of my work remotely, so I can sit for you by either hanging out during the day or possibly staying the night. I will treat your dogs like I do my own: with care, compassion, and a lot of love. I am a kind hearted soul myself, and often connect very well with dogs. Whether you need them to be walked, on strict rest, get lots of playtime, etc, I will gladly do that for your pup like I do for my own at home.

“I had a last minute trip come up, and needed someone to watch my dog Nala on short notice. I rarely travel, and I work from home so I was a little worried about her separation anxiety. Amanda took amazing care of Nala, made sure she felt comfortable and safe. She provided regular photo updates, as well as keeping me informed of how Nala was eating and sleeping, which gave me a lot of peace of mind. Nala had a great time playing fetch, going for walks, and snuggling on the couch. Amanda even sent her home with a cute home-made treat box (all made of ingredients that were sensitive to Nala’s allergies!).
