“Michelle and her family have been a godsend to our family. Not only have their family been wonderful to work with, our dog gets treated just like family while there. Her son has even formed a special bond with our dog. I highly recommend her and we won't ever look back at doing the typical dog kennels again!”

“Krysten was great with my dog! She kept me updated with photos and videos. The fact that my puppy was well cared for and having fun gave me great peace of mind when I really needed it.”

“Archie had a great stay with this wonderful family who all seem to love animals. The were very accommodating and responsive and kept me updated throughout weekend. Will definitely be rebooking in future!”

“Anna, Ryan and their family took such good care of our pups! We are so thankful to have found someone to take them in when we are out of town that provides such a loving environment. They are great to work with! Our flight got in later than expected because of weather, and they remained flexible with us to pick up our dogs. We really appreciate finding this family! We’ll be using them as long as they are willing to provide this service. Anyone seeing this should have zero concerns with this service with them.”

“I had a great experience! My dog can be a bit anxious (and he’s a big boy), but he was so well cared for and clearly felt comfortable. It gave me peace of mind knowing they’ve handled an English Mastiff before. I loved the daily updates and photos, and he got plenty of outdoor time which he loves. He came home happy and completely tuckered out. I'd absolutely book again!”

“We were very happy with Melissa taking care of our dog, Charlie. Melissa sent photos and updates every day. We would definitely use Melissa again and recommend her.”

“Melissa was absolutely amazing. She watched our puppy over a long weekend and provided lots of updates, photos and videos! She also offered a meet and greet prior to watching her, which was very appreciated:) We will definitely book with her again next time our pup needs a sitter!”

“Tala seemed well taken care of and very happy when I picked him up. He slept all the way back to my home state and was such a happy boy. Christina did very well and would highly recommend having her watch Tala or any other pet!”

“Tracy was great to work with, very compassionate about her duty as a sitter and made Hank feel loved and appreciated!! I also appreciated that she was understanding about me being late for pickup as I am just getting settled into a new environment. I hope and look forward to using her again in the future!! Her darling Stella who is as well a Yorkie was just a cute girl. We loved Tracy!”

“Larysa was so kind, patient, attentive to my pet. She and her husband are both caring people, have a clean, calm home, and I felt completely comfortable leaving my dog with them and their dog. I will book again with her.”

“Our puppy had a great time and it was nice knowing he was in a loving home while we were busy with work. 100% recommend Mikayla and Jerad if you need someone to watch your fur baby.”

“Amy is very pleasant and responded in a timely manner to messages. Rori was well taken care of and in good spirits when we picked her up. I would be very comfortable leaving her with Amy and Trevor again.”
“Nichole and her sons Jackson and William were awesome!! Buddy loved them.. they sent pictures and videos of them playing and napping and running in their huge yard several times throughout the 2 1/2 wks watching him! He was treated so well we were afraid he wouldn’t want to come home 😜 We were so grateful for the great care! They are a great family with a great home! Thanx so much!”

“This was our first time booking with Melissa and our dog would be there 9 days!! She was very welcoming and took great care of our dog. She sent me daily updates, pictures and videos. Our dog got along great with her two dogs. I would highly recommend boarding with Melissa!!”

“Jamie sent daily updates of my pup, which made it so much easier to enjoy time away from home. Nellie was grateful to have other pups to hang out with 😉 Thank you Jamie!”

“Angi did a fantastic time caring for our 2 dogs. With their high energy level and prey drive, they can be a handful if they don't get enough exercise or stimulation but by the time we picked them up they were worn out and happy as can be. We also loved all the updates and care she put in to making sure we felt good about leaving our boys with her. We will definitely be bringing them back!”

“We would HIGHLY recommend Rikki for your pet sitting needs! This was the very first time we had left our 2 rescue cats for more than a single night and we were super nervous especially since they are used to having someone home with them full-time. Rikki did a great job of taking care of all our girls' needs while we were away for a 4-day trip. She stayed overnight and left everything in our home clean and orderly. We even had a stray cat that we recently started looking after that she was more than happy to look after as well. We will for sure use Rikki in the future and are super grateful for the peace of mind she gave us to truly enjoy our vacation!”

“Olivia was awesome! She took such great care of our cat while we were away and gave us total peace of mind. Super reliable, really friendly, and great at sending updates and pics so we always knew everything was good at home. Would 100% book Olivia again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a great sitter!”

“Cheyenne had a challenging job, keeping track of one elderly indoor kitty, and two naughty indoor-outdoor kitties. She did a wonderful job feeding, cleaning up after, and loving on all of them. They were like "oh...it's you, where's Cheyenne?" when I got home after a week. Thank you!”

About: I grew up on a hobby farm with almost any critter you could imagine. We used our space to foster and rehabilitate animals, mostly dogs, cats, and horses. Through working with local humane societies, animal trainers, and breeders I think I have a very good understanding of animal behaviors and how to manage them. Working with animals has been a soul salve in my life and I love guiding animals through all stages of learning. I have slots of time all throughout my week where I am available to walk and check in on pets. Sunday is a free day. Monday and Tuesday I am free after 12, Wednesday-Friday I am free 6am-12, 5pm throughout the evening. Unfortunately at this moment I do not have a space that would allow to to board pets, but I am able to care for pets in their own homes. I am very communicative and I will work with you on your pet's specific needs and requirements, as well as any enrichment activities you would like to try.
About: I have had dogs my entire adult life, up to 7 at one time, including a husky. I now only have 1, since I had to move and left the rest with my old roommate (some were his anyway, and I took the one that had chosen me as his human). Every dog I've ever had was properly trained to at least sit on command - with or without a treat. When I had the 7, I could have the pack surround me, and call them one by one for their treat, and only the one called would reach. People have watched my dog's behavior out in public and have aske if I could train their dogs! I have no formal training for dog training, but I did grow up watching Caesar on Animal Planet, and implemented his behavior training techniques with all of my own dogs when they were puppies, or from the time I accepted them in as strays. I have cared for others pets in the past, but not in a professional capacity. I sat for a friend of mine at her house, caring for 3 dogs and a cat. I fed the cat in the morning and at night and cleaned her litter box once a day. The dogs got fed on the same schedule, and spent the majority of the day outside in the fenced back yard unless it was raining. I went outside and threw balls and sticks for them a few times each day, for about an hour or so each time. I currently do not have a job, so I am available full time, any day or time. I have my own dog who prefers to not let me out of his sight, and will cry if I leave him at home alone, so getting a traditional job while living in an apartment is out of the question. With that said, I would need to bring him with me. He is going on 10 years old, and has never met a dog or person he didn't love. I am glad to bring him for a meet and greet before any commitments are made. Every dog has a way to let you know they need something. My dog prefers to attempt cuddles when he needs anything, leaving me playing a guessing game until I get it right. He gets super excited when I get it right! As a senior dog, I leave his food out 24/7, and check it in the mornings when I get up and at night when I go to bed to make sure it's not empty. If I notice that it's empty at any point during the day, I simply refill it. Same with his water. His potty schedule is pretty much the same - first thing in the morning, any time he asks during the day, and then one last trip out at bedtime. I know not every dog can follow this schedule, but I have also had dogs who needed me to set alarms to take them out every hour or two, until they were properly house trained. All I need from you is your dogs schedule.

“We are incredibly grateful to April and her family for taking such wonderful care of our cat, Mufaza, while we were thousands of miles away visiting family. April made our trip anxiety-free by not only looking after Mufaza but also keeping us updated with thorough visit summaries and delightful pictures. It was clear from the updates that Mufaza was not just cared for but also given enough attention and stimulation to make him feel at ease despite our absence. April’s care was so exceptional that we would be delighted to have her watch Mufaza every time we travel without him. Thank you, April, for your exceptional service and for treating Mufaza as part of your family!”

About: Work from home empty nest Mom. I have a sweet, 9 year old bichon shihtzu that is spoiled rotten 🙂. My kids are at college and come visit on the weekends. I have a flexible schedule during the day and I love to play and walk my dog multiple times a day. I’ve been around dogs my entire life, and I offer a fenced in yard, plenty of play time and snuggles! I’m happy to send pictures throughout the day if you want. My goal is to make them feel as comfortable as possible. I work from home with a flexible schedule during the week. My weekends are mostly home too. I do occasional zoom calls and pretty regular phone calls, so I do need a pretty quiet office space. I usually do walks in the morning and at 4/5pm. Backyard time around lunch time and chill time after 7/8. My dog and I have a calm, easy going manner. I have a fenced in yard and a cute fur baby to keep your pup company. I have extra bedrooms if your dog needs to be in a crate or kennel.

“This was my first time using Rover and/or boarding our cat. Maria was so kind and thoughtful with answering all my questions and giving updates! Every picture she sent really showed how comfortable my cat was getting and that she was making sure to give him love and attention. We would absolutely use her again and recommend her to anyone.”

About: Since growing up, I have always lived in a household with at least one pet. As I grew older I gave them care and love, and now my brother often asks me to care for his cat. I work usually 20-40 hours a week, and have every night after 4pm off! Every other weekend I am free completely to look after furry ones. I make sure it’s a clean, and a comfortable environment for the animal(s). They are always fed, looked after, and the environment they are in is clean and safe!

“Teige was amazing with my pups! She sent great pictures, tired them out playing and even took them to get pup cups! I would highly recommend her, she was very easy to work worth and my babies loved her”

“What a phenomenal first experience with Rover & Christina! She was kind, welcoming, very understanding and genuine! She has a beautiful fenced in yard and my boy had a blast. She sent pictures and updates. Hopefully she and her daughter will be available the next time we're in town. Excellent job!!”

“Jamie was very flexible with me and Ziggy! She took great care of my sweet baby, and put up with her chaos :) It was the first time leaving my fur baby alone and she gave me reassurance and comfort that she was in good hands.”

About: Hi! My name is Melissa and I'm so happy to be here! I have 15 years of experience caring for and walking my own dogs, and sitting for friends and family. I know the importance of getting some exercise in for your fur friend, and how challenging it can be to find the time some days! So I am here to help, let me take care of that task for you! I enjoy walking and being outdoors and I'd love to have your pup accompany me! I also own my own home with a fully fenced in backyard, and I work full time from home, so if you need boarding or daycare services, my home would be great for you! I have two pups of my own that absolutely love other dogs, so if you are ok with that, we'd love to care for and keep your pup with us, too! I work from home full time, so it’s easy to attend to my pups (and yours!) during the workday. I can make a lunch hour walk or drop work easily. And afternoons and evenings are pretty open! I have a fully fenced in yard and I am able to let my dogs out as often as they need, and they would be perfect companions for your pups when staying here as well
About: Hi everyone - I was a mom to older English Bulldogs who have recently passed and understand the need for a sitter at times. I used to use a dog sitter myself during the day and understand how hard it can be to get home sometimes! Now that my doggos are no longer with me, I would love to help you out. I work from home so can accept daycare or overnight boarding at my place. I live in a safe neighborhood and have a fenced in backyard for all of the potty breaks and I can also bring them on short walks if requested. I live in a zero-entry, one-level home with no steps which is great for pets with bad joints.
About: I've been lucky enough to have a dog in my life since I was young. I have raised many puppies of different breeds and I have experience with various personalities. I can take your dog for a nice walk or check on them and let them out into the yard. I've cared for friends' and families' and neighbors' dogs for 15 years. The past 4 years I did conservation detection work with my pups and now I am currently working as a dog trainer in Sioux Falls. I specialize in scent work, cooperative care, and tailoring enrichment to the individual dog. I'm currently working part time so I have plenty of free time to take your dogs out exploring and adventuring. I can take them on shorter or longer walks depending on what you need. I follow any guidelines left by the dogs' person to take care of them and keep them on a routine so they are as stress free and safe as possible.
About: Hi! I’m Stephanie, and I absolutely love pups! 🐾 I grew up with dogs and now have a 4-year-old staffy mix named Cricket and another who is 5 months old named Louie. They are both very friendly, loves other dogs, adore people, and usually becomes best friends with every dog who stays with us! We go to parks daily and love when new furry friends join us. I can keep your pup at my home during the day and accommodate any feeding or health needs. We get out at least twice a day, giving plenty of opportunity for exercise and playtime. Your dog will get lots of attention, socialization, and safe, monitored play. We also enjoy hikes and outdoor adventures! I drive a Subaru Forester, so there’s plenty of room to transport multiple dogs if your pup enjoys exploring. My pups are treat-motivated, and I’m happy to share treats with your dog if that’s something they enjoy—just let me know what works best for them. We’d love to meet your pup and make them feel part of our adventures here in Sioux Falls! I have a pup of my own that I take out hiking, running, or long walks daily. She loves other dogs and we would love to have yours tag along on our adventures or stay at home and play! My pup is free to roam around the house when I'm home or away. She also has a crate that she loves and is able to stay in there if that would make your dog more comfortable! My house is a dog friendly one with a unfenced yard that we are ablet to run and play in. I feed my dog twice a day and she is ok being fed around other dogs, but I am able to separate them during feeding time if that is necessary. My dog is also ok sharing toys so if yours enjoys playing with toys my dog would love to share what she has!
“Josie was exceptional. Her communication was outstanding and her compassion was just as great. She sent multiple updates throughout the day, which really shows how much she cares for others' fur babies. I recieved lots of candid, sweet photos too. I could tell Honey was in good hands and truly enjoyed her time away. Josie paid close attention to routines and details, and was so attentive to Honey while she was in her care. I couldn't have asked for a better last-minute sitter. She not only made me feel secure in my decision but also made Honey feel safe and at home. I'm sure she'll sleep hard tonight after today's adventures. I have nothing but good things to say about Josie and will definitely be booking with her again in the future! 🩷”

“Emily and her pups were amazing sitters for our boy Sonoma today! We were nervous about leaving him with someone for the first time but after chatting with Emily and meeting her and her 2 dogs for a few minutes the day before the planned sitting…we were totally confident that he was in good hands. Emily is such a kind hearted person with a genuine love for dogs and it shows in her care for her own. Sonoma immediately warmed up to her and the 3 puppies were able to have a great time together. She was considerate of our routine/habits and sent pictures all day long, which we were so thankful to have! Sonoma didn’t want to leave Emily’s house and even sat in protest on her porch. We would absolutely love/plan to use Emily again and would recommend her to anyone looking for fantastic care in Paradise!”

About: I provide loving, attentive care for dogs in the Sioux Falls area and have years of experience caring for my family’s and relatives’ dogs while they’re on vacation. Your pup will be treated like part of the family in a safe, comfortable home environment. My home features a fully fenced backyard, upper and lower living levels, and one of my favorite (and most dogs’ favorite!) features—a full glass sunroom that overlooks the backyard. It’s the perfect spot for dogs to relax, soak up the sun, and keep an eye out for rabbits and other wildlife. I have a 1.5-year-old chiweenie named Copper who is very active, friendly, and gets along well with all dogs. Before Copper, I had my chug, Kewley, for 16.5 wonderful years, so I’m experienced with dogs of all ages. Copper is crate trained and is crated during short outings like when I attend church. Weather permitting, we go on daily walks, and your dog will be welcome to join us! For long term stays, we may also enjoy visiting small dog parks almost daily to burn off energy and have fun. My goal is to make every dog feel safe, loved, and right at home while you’re away. I work from home full-time, so pets get plenty of attention, regular potty breaks, and companionship throughout the day. Weather permitting we will go on walks and possibly the dog park if all parties are ok with that. I will send daily pics/videos throughout the stay. Some photos may be consider professional portraits :) I live alone with my ChiWeenie Copper as mentioned. My neighborhood is full of dogs and the people are friendly. Overall, it is a quiet neighborhood on a quiet street. Pets can be crated at anytime if owner prefers. I plan on not having more than 3-4 dogs at a time. Small-Medium size dogs only.
“Mable is usually very nervous with new people but she did great! Paige made her feel comfortable but not just her…ME!!! I would definitely use Paige again and would recommend her for anyone! Thank you again for such great care of Mable! She has a rough day traveling and sitting in the airport all day and I can tell you took great care of her!!!”

About: I have been a dog owner and lover for most of my life. I currently do not have a dog in the home, so I can focus full-time on your furry family members. I have a lot of experience with pit blends, as well as small dogs. I work freelance from home, and currently have plenty of time to spend giving scritches and going out to play. I am also a runner, and would love to take any dogs with me who love to run. We have a fenced in yard, and a dog room in our basement for naps. We also have a couch in the main living area that's just for dogs, but they are also welcome to sit on our couch or in our recliner chair. We live very close to the bike trail and several parks, and walking distance to the downtown dog park. I also have a dog-safe car for trips to Spencer or Family Dog Park or special trips to The Splash Bark.

About: Growing up, I’ve always loved and cared for dogs. Now that I have my own, I understand the feeling of having someone care for them the way you do. I work a full-time job from Monday to Thursday, and sometimes I have mandatory Fridays. However, I’m more than happy to assist on weekends or weekdays after 5 PM, and I’m also available on Fridays if my work schedule allows. I reside in an apartment, but I thoroughly enjoy taking them for daily walks and visits to the dog park, every day, other day, depending on my schedule.

My background caring for both patients and my own grandparents has shaped me into someone who is patient, observant, and dependable. My schedule is flexible, and I’m committed to providing consistent, loving care while you’re away. I’ll treat your dog like my own and keep you updated so you have peace of mind. Pet care fits naturally into my routine because I have a flexible schedule as a nurse. On my days off, I have full availability for walks, drop-ins, or extended visits. On workdays, I’m still able to provide consistent care like morning walks/visits, evening check-ins, feeding, and quality time. I’m used to planning my schedule ahead, so I make sure each pet gets reliable, attentive care and isn’t rushed. I prioritize creating a safe, calm, and consistent environment for every pet. In a client’s home, I carefully follow all instructions, routines, and preferences to keep pets comfortable and stress-free. I’m attentive to details like feeding schedules, medications, and behavior changes. I always ensure doors, gates, and leashes are secure during visits and walks. With my nursing background, I’m observant, responsible, and quick to respond if anything seems off, so your pet is always in safe, trustworthy hands.

“Tala seemed well taken care of and very happy when I picked him up. He slept all the way back to my home state and was such a happy boy. Christina did very well and would highly recommend having her watch Tala or any other pet!”

“Justin and his family did an awesome job taking care of Mr. Wiggins while we were gone! Good communication and care, he was so relaxed when we picked him up, so we could tell he loved staying with his new friends. Thanks to all of you, from Wiggy!”

“She was great, she gave me updates and pictures of how my Buddy was doing as it was my first experience using Rover and I highly recommended her for doggy boarding!!”

“Lindsay and her family sent pictures of Addie each day in their care. She responded quickly to my texts and my request to pick up Addie a few hours earlier than on original booking. Addie returned home happy and well cared for.”

“Jessie had the best time!! Amber sent updated photos on a routine basis, let me know how Jesse was doing, and was great at responding. She and her husband are super great! 10/10 will be using again. :)”

“My dog had a blast at Marnie and Jeffery's place! Iggy loved their dogs and family members. Marnie sent me photos every day and I felt great knowing she was well-cared for. This was the first time I used Rover and I was a little anxious, but this was an excellent experience. I would definitely go with this family again, they're awesome!”
