About: I have years of experience working in grooming, doggy daycare, at a vet clinic, and a credentialed dog trainer. As a graduate of the Academy for Dog Trainers and member of the Pet Professional Guild, I take low stress, fear free management and training seriously. I do not use aversives such as prong, choke, or shock collars, I do not use corrections. I do use food, toys, happy talk and body language to motivate and redirect behavior. Please tell me if your dog has dietary restrictions or if you have allergies to common dog treat ingredients. As an owner of dogs with chronic health concerns I understand that medical concerns can be complex and require strict adherence. Medications, injections or other special needs are fine with me. *Please note I do have a staircase in my home. Your dog will need to be comfy with either using carpeted and walled off stairs or with me carrying them.* Having had to stop training due to my own health, I'm now primarily a work at home artist. This offers a great deal of flexibility in adapting to the needs of the dogs with me. I have a (tolerant) senior dog, a cat and two fenced yards for your dog to explore. Doggy guests are treated like family and join us in play, sniffing and relaxing.

He sent us a photo before we even left and a couple more during her overnight stay. He has a nice fenced in yard as well. He helped us out when we were in a serious bind and made a stressful situation easier to deal with. We greatly appreciated that.”

About: I have had pets for as long as I can remember and have done pet sitting mostly in the summers for many years as I am a teacher! I currently don’t have a pet but will again in the future. I recently had a husky mix and golden retriever in my home. I have worked with cats and dogs of all sizes and have taken care of up to 3 at a time! I am responsible, timely, organized, and thorough in my efforts. I will make sure to adhere to all of your specifications as well as share any necessary information for you to know! I look forward to the opportunity to care for your precious family friend and make sure they feel loved and nourished while you’re away! During the school year, my son and caretaker are always home at my house and I also come home for lunch. During holiday breaks and the summer, I’m home full time! In my home, we have spaces where your dog can be alone if needed. They can also be outside if that’s what they enjoy.

I am a full time teacher and on the weekends I bartend. I make sure that my dog gets well taken care of during the week by walking her before work or after work. I make sure that she gets played, fed and walked. I make sure my dog is well taken care of and I abide by whatever the client expects from me. Trust is huge in being able to care of someone’s precious baby.
