Personalized care for your dog or cat - Babbitt

“Kelly is very attentive and organized and knows dogs well. She took the initiative to give our dog a bath and washed his dog bedding. She’s very responsive and gives us confidence in her care”

“Mary was absolutely wonderful with our kitten Hank! 🐾❤️ She created a cozy little space just for him with toys and everything he needed to feel safe and comfortable. She was so patient and caring with him while he adjusted to being away from home. She also sent us pictures and a video while we were gone, which gave us so much peace of mind knowing our little kitten was happy, playing, and being well cared for. By the time we picked him up, he was letting her hold and pet him and was even purring! We would absolutely trust Mary with Hank again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for someone who will love and care for their pet like their own. ❤️”

“We feel SO lucky to have found Kelly to board our cat! She took wonderful care of Sophie, keeping us updated with information and photos throughout our trip, and even sent her home with a brand new toy. The next time we need to board Sophie for any reason, we will definitely be booking Kelly's services.”

About: I have one dog and two cats, so i have a long road of pet experience behind me. I also would petsit my parents friends foster animals, neighbors pets and my grandmothers two cats, and had lots of fun doing so! I currently work full time but am planning on starting part time, one of my hobbies is hiking so i always have time to walk dogs. I often take my dog on frequent walks and let her outside to go potty, I do not take my cats outside but I play with them frequently.

About: I have both professional and personal dog care experience While I was growing up, there was always at least one animal in our house. I also have experience training puppies for an organization called Custom Canines Service Dog Academy (CCSDA), out of Madison, WI. With CCSDA, I raised two golden retrievers, one who went on to become a total access service dog for a veteran and her family. Training includes a lot of socialization and bringing the dogs everywhere to get them used to being out in public and working amidst distractions as well as obedience and special skills training. I most recently worked in Ely, Minnesota at a sled dog yard. Responsibilities included feeding dogs, handling the dogs, basic doggie first aid check-ups after each run and more while managing the working dogs. I have learned a lot about animal behavior through those experiences, and I am very comfortable around all types of dogs. Currently I am in a bit of a transition, I just got back from traveling and I am in GB, working and taking a class. Using this as a side gig to make a little bit of extra money before I move to Maine in the spring. I am available on weekdays between 9 am and 9 pm and most weekends as well. I can be pretty flexible as to which days and times I am available, so just reach out and we can work something out! I am living with three dogs at the moment. My family has two loving labs (7 & 5) who get on well with each other and other dogs. My sister also has a golden retriever in the house who is 1 year old. I love to take the three dogs for walks around the neighborhood and because they are friendly and get on well with other dogs, we occasionally make trips to the dog parks in the area. It is unlikely, but if I have one of the dogs with me, I would definitely clear that to make sure it is okay with you and your pets first.

“We were camping nearby and wanted to go into town for the day. We found Kelly on her son watched our 2 huskies and he was great! He took our dogs on a nice, scenic walk and sent us a video. One of our dogs is very strong and pulls and he handled him well. Highly recommend Kelly!”
