About: I have always had a dog in my home for the past 20 years. I have been hired by many friends and families to watch and care for their pets, both cats and dogs. I also have extensive experience taking care of older dogs, as I cared for my childhood dog during the last year of her life. I also have lots of experience as an Animal Care Attendant. Taking care of all different ages, sizes, and energy levels of dogs! I am well versed in dogs with behavioral issues. Administering oral medications. As well as feeding. I am a big dog lover and have two rescue dogs myself :) I am very flexible and open during the week days. I can also be available on some weekends with notice! I typically spend my mornings taking care of my pups and getting them out on a walk. The rest of the day I am free! I am very patent when it comes to animals. I love playing, walking, and cuddling (but only when they want to). I am very observant and make sure they aren't getting into things they shouldn't. Your pets health and safety is my number one priority!

“Carly was amazing with my pup, Opal! She kept us updated regularly with pictures and texts. They took great care of her (playing outside, taking her for walks, and most importantly, snuggles on the couch! I will most definitely use them again!”

About: I have a unique background of both pet sitting, pet walking, and fostering dogs. With dogs, I have experience from puppies to seniors. I’m happy to administer medications, prepare specialized diets, and/or work with you to ensure your pet receives the proper care and exercise they need each day. For cats, I have pet sat both adult and senior cats long term. During the week, I am a graduate student. I usually am on campus for 4ish hours per day in the morning. Beyond that, my time is quite flexible to fit your needs. I always have some computer work at home if your pet would like to lounge with me. Additionally, I can easily create gaps in my schedule for midday walks or feedings when needed. I am a very clean, responsible, and animal-loving person. These traits of mine translate both to your home or my home depending on your needs! In my home, I have an unfenced backyard where I am happy to supervise outdoor time and play. I also keep a clean home to ensure your pet is the safest they can be. In your home, I am determined to clean up after myself and your pet to make your homecoming as stress-free as possible.

“Kira was wonderful and took great care of my elderly pup!”

“Lori was the absolute BEST with our Dog, Yukon! It was our first time leaving him overnight with a new person and she exceeded our expectations...And completely put us (and Yukon!) at ease. He came home tired and happy and we could tell it was a great experience from the updates and pictures she sent during his stay. We will be booking with Lori again and again!”

About: While I have not been a professional dog sitter I have always been the one to offer to walk or watch my coworkers, family, and friends dogs.I absolutely love being around them, and can't wait to meet yours. In the past I have used Rover to find a sitter for my dogs when I am travelling with them. Having a safe place for them to be when I go tour around a new city is such a nice option to have. Sometimes this is a few hours other times an overnight. Hoping to be able to provide this for others. I have 3 dogs of my own, one shelter rescue and 2 foster fails. Luna, Ole, and Birdie have been great foster siblings to foster dogs I have cared for also. I have a fenced yard with enough room to play. I also have a few spare bedrooms so will have the ability to separate dogs if that is needed however I prefer to dogsit those that are dog friendly due to already having a few in the home.

“Talia did an amazing job taking care of my shy cat (former barn kitty who is skittish with new people) while I was away from home for a few days. She came for a meet and greet beforehand, kept me updated throughout each day I was away, shared photos, asked questions, and went above and beyond basic tasks by taking care of house chores. She’s truly a caring person who knows how much fur babies are loved by their owners. It takes a wonderful person to understand and have patience with their little personalities and needs. I appreciate knowing my cat was in such caring hands while I was away!”

Kim D.

“Amber did a great job! When our cat didn’t eat breakfast and take his medicine, Amber went back in the evening to check on him! She went above and beyond. Thank you, Amber!”

Carrie J.

“Excellent service, Sav sent updates for Mimmie and was precise and punctual and cordial - was timely in response and flexible.. was very kind and gentle to Mimmie : will definitely use her service again. one of the best we ever had on Rover as we have used the service many times for vacation. Randy A.”

“Julia is great and very attentive to my cat, Cosette. She’s a great communicator and lets me know how everything is going. I would definitely recommend her.”

Jennifer Z.

“Liz was a wonderful caretaker of our 13 year-old male cat. He did not make it easy for her as he was a bit cranky, but she hung in there and did a great job.”

About: Have much patience as I helped raise litters of puppies from 17 on, experience with IVDD (intervertebral disk disease) paralyzed, expressing bladders, dog grooming assistant for 2 yrs, cancer/kidney failure, comfort cares, giving meds, behavior/aggression issues and more :) Currently work another part time flexible job. I don’t have a sitter for my dog so I would have to bring him along if it’s for an extended stay. He is very dog and cat friendly. I am a hard worker and learn things quickly. Pets have always been my passion to be around :) I always feed my pets before myself and they go out to use restroom the same most times. Safety is my top priority! Respect their space and property always.

“Came from out of town and needed a sitter for a few hours. Casey was fantastic and my pup was so happy! Will definitely let him know if we’re in town and need a sitter again!!”

Emily C.

“Our three pups had so much fun with Allie and family! You provided such a great sense of calm and were so welcoming - I’m glad our pack fit in well! We really appreciate the care and excellent communication! We will let you know next time we are in town - Mav, Vi and Jimi would love to hang out again!”

Nicole C.

“Lori was absolutely fantastic! She sent pictures and video and we had no worries leaving our fur baby with her! He was happy and tired out after a drip to the dog park and a few walks ? Lori was extremely responsive and great with pets! She was flexible when we asked to drop off later than expected too. I would highly recommend her to care for your pet!”

Lindsey D.

“Liz was wonderful with Milo a shy and difficult dog to make friends with. Milo was at ease and enjoyed his walks with Liz. Thank you very much Liz. Looking forward to working with you again.”

“Amber is the best! I'm so happy with how it's going with my pups! My chihuahua-dachshund is impossible to walk but just a couple of weeks of walking with Amber and he's walking without pulling!!”

Julie G.

“Had such a GREAT experience with Sav! She knows exactly what she is doing and was SO adaptable her first time getting to know our dogs quirks. Truly, it means so much as we have a golden retriever who struggles on walks and is anxious! We will absolutely be using her again as our dog walker!”

About: I specialize in large dog breeds as I have 1 Pyrenees and 1 golden retriever myself. They are both very well trained and certified ESA’s. I don’t have any special skills such as pet training, just really good with dogs. I am a full time nurse and I’m off every other week. I would love to take/walk dogs on my weeks off.
