About: I’ve had many pets and animals. I have also dog sat quite a bit in home for 5 dogs at a time. I am very good with animals and very patient. I am a student at South Dakota State University. My schedule makes it so I can get back home every few hours so I can check up on things and let them out. I have a very flexible schedule. My roommate has a little male dachshund. My yard doesn't have a fence because I live in an apartment. I do have a sliding glass door that leads straight out to the grass because I am on the first floor. I am very flexible about how I care for pets, so I can do it however you'd like.

“Itzel is a very loving and compassionate animal caretaker! From the moment I met her, and throughout the entire boarding period, I felt comfortable with the care my cats received. Itzel made a trip to my home to meet my cats a few days before the boarding period. I could tell right away that everything was going to be more than alright. Itzel drove back to my home to pick up my cats upon commencement of the boarding period. During the time I was on vacation for over two weeks, Itzel sent me numerous videos of my cats which showed how well they were adjusting, and the wonderful care they were receiving. I could tell right away that my cats were getting a lot more attention and love than even I had been giving them! I was starting to think that my cats might now want to come back to me because they were getting more attention from Itzel! I was glad, though, because I knew my cats were well loved and cared for. That meant a lot to me! During and at the end of the boarding period, I had to make adjustments to the duration of the stay. Itzel was more than accommodating to these changes. The Rover platform was also very user friendly, so that these changes in the boarding itinerary were made without any problems at all.”

Before I dive into what I want to specialize in as a pet carer and how I can help your fur family, here is a little about myself… For most of my adult life I have been a career server. I have worked at a couple restaurants in the Sioux Falls area. I have three kids of my own and recently have decided to work from home so I can have more time this summer with them. I have always thrived working in an environment where I can build relationships with the customers and now, my furry friends! I have worked in a fast paced, task oriented, environment and enjoy staying organized and on top of my weekly schedule. We recently brought a Frenchton into our family, her name is Dolly and she has just been the best addition. But with a puppy I know first hand how often they need your attention. I have grown up around multiple breeds, sizes of dogs and have always had a couple dogs in our home. In high school and early college years I volunteered often at the local humane society and took the dogs on walks. I am available during the weekdays to let your puppers out for bathroom breaks, multiple times a day if needed (totally understand how often some young dogs need to go outside, haha!). With my work from home schedule, I am able to be flexible to what is needed for your pet on a day-to-day basis. I take my Dolly on daily walks and she LOVES it, so if you are looking for a local dog walker, I am more than willing to help fulfill that need for your furry friend. About: Ive been taking care of as well as raising all animals since I was 7. I love & enjoy their company and companionship. Myself as well as my fiancé both have experience through out our lives. I currently stay home & daily pet care is a part of my day already with our wonderful furry friends. We love parks & walks even some play time in the yard. I have family as well as friends that look to me for care & tips when it comes to their pets We currently dont have a fenced in yard but our companions are always well watched. A couple of our dogs are of leash trained but we do have those ones that love to run. So park days are our favorite. Our animals are all very well trained which was all done by us.
