“OMGGGGG! I’m new to having pets. My daughter had an OFSAA tournament in Sarnia. We know no one in Sarnia. It was my first time using Rover. Angie responded quickly. Her rate and reviews are GREAT! She kept our minds at ease by sending pics, videos, notes throughout the day. She made the cutest posts. It was our first time away from Toby. There was a lot of anxiety but Angie put us at ease. She has a park next to her home to walk Toby. Not only is Angie great…but so is her family! So welcoming and friendly and kind. I know where to go if I’m back in Sarnia. Angie is 100% dependable kind and patient and just loves animals! 100% recommend Angie!”

“Kym kept me updated of how my pet was doing through texts and pictures while I was out of town and she took really great care of my pet which put me at ease knowing my dog was safe and well cared for.”

“Amber made pick up and drop off quick and easy. She provided updates and photos/videos during our stay and accommodated us when we were running late. Would use her services again.”

“Bailey is awesome! She was able to take our dog on last minute and keep him over a holiday weekend. She was kind, good with Bug, had great communication, and was totally flexible with time. I was able to drop him off 1/2 an hour later than expected and pick him up 3 or so hours early. She was fantastic!”

You can tell she put a lot of thought and love into making her home a great place for dogs to stay. I was able to enjoy my vacation knowing that Finn was in good hands. I'll definitely board him with Chelsie again.”

About: I offer a boutique, low-volume dog care experience designed for dogs who thrive in a calmer, more personal environment. With 15+ years of experience, I’ve cared for dogs of all sizes, temperaments, and energy levels—including high-energy breeds like huskies. My setup is intentionally small (only a few dogs at a time) so each dog gets individual attention, structured play, and a stress-free environment—nothing like overcrowded daycare facilities. Dogs in my care enjoy: • Supervised indoor & outdoor time • Daily walks and structured play • A cozy, home-style environment • Optional fresh, homemade meals • Consistent routines to reduce anxiety I focus heavily on reading dog behavior and creating a balanced, safe group dynamic. Whether your dog is playful, shy, or needs a slower pace, I tailor care to them. This is ideal for owners looking for something more intentional, calm, and personalized for their dog—not a chaotic daycare setting. I offer flexible scheduling for daycare and boarding with a consistent daily routine to keep dogs comfortable. She sent so many adorable pictures and he had a great time with the other dogs & Brittany’s family! We would recommend her to anyone! It’s difficult to find people you can trust with your dogs, but Brittany & her husband have our trust! We will gladly have them watch Teddy anytime we need!”

About: I have had pets since I was a baby. I love caring for animals and having them around. They bring true joy to my life . I have taken care of several different breeds of dogs and cats.I have had clients, that I cared for and also cared for their animals. I am accustomed to feeding, bathing, walking, cuddling, playing, and training dogs, cats, bunnies, and would consider exotic animals. I am truly a lover of all animals. They provide us with undconditional love and companionship. It is one of the best things life has to offer. I took in my amazing cat Ziggie who was a stray and drawn to me. He kept visiting us. He was truly a remarkable part of our family. We had him for 9 years and found out he had asthma, scar tissue on his lungs at the age of 5. The vet was unsure how long he would live for, but with treatments and lots of love he lived to be almost 14 years of age after fighting lymphoma. I learned to take care of a very special boy. He was so affectionate and came to me when I needed his companionship. I became use to giving him medications and having to monitor his condition daily with his cancer. It was tough but the first round of chemo, he kicked it. Then when it came back he got sick and deteriorated very quickly. It's very sad but I also remember the positivity and joy he left with me in my heart and memories. I've grown up with 3 different dogs and cared for them as a young girl, I developed such a wonderfdul bond with them. I care for my friend's puppy and train him when she needs a sitter. He stayed with us for 9 days when his owner went out of town. We trained him, fed, bathed, groomed, and walked this sweet little 4 month old Jack Russell. We just love him he is like a part of our family now and spends over night visitas with me. I have experience caring for birds, when I was a young girl I had 2 parakeets that I cared for. They were really great when they sat on my shoulder. It was quite amusing to me. Any opportunity to care for an animal warms my heart and creates a bond that is life long. I am thankful to have had so many wonderful opportunities to form such bonds. I am currrently working part time . I can arrange shifts around my schedule. This allows me more flexibility so I can work with animals. I have nice parks close to my home, that I can take pets to for their walks. I can do the same at your home. I can crate the pet when it is necessary.
“Madison and Brandon were amazing dog sitters for Teddy. They were very patient and worked with him to get to know their three dogs. Very responsive and attentive to Teddy.”

“This was one of the best experiences I have had while using rover. She regularly sent updates and pictures which was great to see. Her and her family took wonderful care of my dog, taking him on many walks, playing, and just relaxing. I cannot put into words how much peace of mind it provided and how sweet it was that they cared for my senior dog in all the perfect ways. Thank you so much!”

“Carly is FABULOUS! She always leaves a detailed summary of her visits- which is huge with my senior dog and keeping track of bowel habits and tinkles. Carly walks with my girl in the yard and takes time for lots of pets. Carly pays attention to and adjusts for my dogs significant loss of hearing to avoid startling. If I could give her 10 stars I would.”

She easily managed to give our cat his eye drops and our 'scaredy-cat' even ventured out to let Gabby pet her! She's very responsive & her experience with animals is clearly evident. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!”

About: I’ve been caring for my cats in the family as long as I can remember. I have six of my own. One of which is a tripod- he came to me with a broken hip that required amputation. Two seniors. Two were orphans my manager raised. And two found me, and just decided to stick around. One has a backwards GI tract and needs a little extra care. One has had a hematoma- leading to drops and care there. There are very few issues I haven’t run into with cats. Including bottle raising a few to foster out. It’s a little chaotic, but I wouldn’t have it any other way!
“Kris cared for my two special needs senior cats 18 yrs and 16 years old. She willingly learned to give one sub a insulin twice daily with ease and the other thyroid medicine. The care she gave them was impeccable and they were able to make themselves at home. She also kept in touch with their progress and I was able to relax knowing they were in good hands.”

I'll follow your instructions, if provided, for walks, play time, and any special routines they may have.
About: I have been around animals my entire life. I grew up on a farm with two dogs as a child and have had many different-sized animals since. Im currently laid off work while recovering from a shoulder surgery so I have open availability and my shoulder is healed so I have no restrictions on walks or animal size I own a fenced-in lot next to my house for outside time. I have one super friendly dog who loves it out there and a room with a door so I don't have to use a crate inside.
About: I have been caring for dogs for more than 35 years and have owned several dogs throughout my life. I currently have a dog named Henry, who is a beloved member of my family. Living with and caring for dogs over the years have taught me. how to understand their different personalities, needs, and routines. Whether your dog needs a walk, playtime, companionship, or patient care while you're away, I’ll treat them with the same kindness and attention I give to my own. My goal is to help your pet feel safe, happy, and loved while giving you peace of mind. Pet care is already a natural part of my daily routine. I care for my own dog, Henry, every day, so walks, feeding, playtime, and attention are built into my schedule. As a dog lover, I am always available to care for pets, provide a reliable service, companionship, exercise, and plenty of love for the pets I look after. As a part time teacher with summers off, I are very flexible! When caring for pets in a client's home, we follow the pet's normal routine as closely as possible to help them feel comfortable and secure. We provide feeding, fresh water, walks, playtime, potty breaks, medication if needed, and lots of attention and affection. About: We will treat your dog(s) as our own. My friends tell me I have a special way of patting dogs and they (the dogs) seem to love it. They will get good belly rubs, behind-the-ear scratches and whatever love they need from both my husband and me. Our large fenced yard will entice your dog(s) to run and play as well as relax. We are comfortable looking after more than one dog at a time as we have a dog of our own. Just an FYI, Fiona, our 14.5 year old passed away in December 2023. We adopted Meeka in February 2024 who loves playing with other dogs and people. We also just adopted Simba in mid-April 2024. He is slowly getting socialized and loves playing with Meeka. They definitely keep each other company! Your dogs will also feel more comfortable in our house knowing that they are welcome and have familiar dog faces and smells here. I am also comfortable taking care of your dog(s) in your house to ensure your fur-children continue to stay in the comforts of their own homes. My husband and I look forward to meeting you and your dog(s) soon. My husband and I do this together. We both work full-time at the office but I work 2 days from home. During the in-office days, we will let the dogs out when we wake up and after one of us get back home. The other two days and on weekends, they get let out every 2-3 hours or as and when they need to go. My husband helps me when he’s home and we go for daily walks in the evenings and weekends. We love patting and playing with them as that’s our routine with our own dogs so rest assured, we’ll make sure your dog gets loved too. Meet and greets are always preferred because we want to make sure you’re comfortable with our family and vice versa. If your dog(s) will be in our home, my husband will be helping out. Therefore, we want to make sure our pups play well with each other too. If you need a house sitter while you’re gone because it’s easier and better for your pets to be in the comforts of their own home, it’ll either be my husband or I. In this case, we want to make sure you’re comfortable with both of us. Boarding/Daycare: We have a fenced backyard and require all boarders to be crate-trained and come with a crate, especially for feeding time and if things get wild. For older dogs like when we had Fiona, she struggled to go up and down the deck stairs so I let her out in the front yard which isn’t fenced. However, I went with her and she was great at not taking off with me and my husband. Meeka and Simba are always leashed when they get let out in the front. If you’re worried about your dog being in the front yard, we will always use a leash. Otherwise, the backyard is more than sufficient if they’re okay with stairs. Home Sitting: We will do our best to stick with your routine with your dog. I do work full-time, 2 days from home and my husband goes to the office all 5 days. If your dog loves walks/car rides, we'd be happy to have them meet ours and they can walk together. If there are other animals in your home that's need to be card for, please let us know. I am an animal lover and will learn quickly to care for animals I’ve not taken care of before.

About: I am a stay at home mom with 2 school - aged boys. My kids love dogs almost as much as I do and are very good at helping out with them. I have been a dog owner for 30+ years and our dogs have always been treated like family, including having their own Christmas stockings. We adopted our sweet senior rottie mix, Roary, back in 2023 and our indoor/outdoor kitten, Biscuit, in 2025. I will only care for dogs in my home that get along with children, dogs, and cats so everyone will feel comfortable. If your dog plays well with others, (s)he will be treated as family! I work from home, so I spend the majority of my day at home. Your pet will not be alone for long, if at all. We live on 3 acres and while we don’t have a fenced yard, your pet will spend plenty of time outside (on a leash) and be walked around the yard every few hours. I currently work from home. I will be able to take your pet for multiple walks daily and attend to their needs consistently. Even though I work from home, my time is important. Last minute requests will have a $25 charge added to the booking. I do not have a fenced yard, but I have a good amount of property and will walk your pup throughout the day. If they need more exercise, I do have a long lead I can put them on to play fetch or just run around. I do not allow the pups to be outside unsupervised or unleashed at any time.
“Alyssa was extremely quick and flexible to accommodate my dog at the last minute. I can see how well my dog was looked after by how happy and tired he was. I would definitely recommend Alyssa for your pet's care.”

About: I spent 11 wonderful years with my two standard poodles Molly and Loki. I recently lost them in the past couple years and miss them dearly. I would like to offer daycare and lodging for poodles and doodles. I am highly allergic to other breeds so I need to stick with the breed I love. My husband and I are retired and can offer much comfort and love to your babies when you travel or are at work. They will be spoiled rotten and adored while in my care. We are both retired and available quite often unless we are planning to travel. This is not a career for us. I am simply doing this because I love the breed and miss my dog's dearly but I'm just not ready to get another dog. I have a fenced in yard and can also walk dogs weather permitting. Pups will have the run of the house. We would never feed a pup anything that was not provided as both our dogs had gastro issues and we know how important it is to their health not to feed them off diet.

I am happy to visit your fur baby anytime of the day! I’m happy to visit holidays and weekends too :). In my home, pets are allowed on furniture and on the bed. I can take them outside on a leash as I don’t have a fenced in yard. I have two acres on a dirt road in for gratiot.
“I'm very grateful for Angie and her husband. I was a last minute booking the night before amd Angie was very quick to respond to me, a first time Rover user. I was totally unsure of my timing, if it would have to be extended and then after all that I ended up picking my girl up very early. Angie and her husband were very considerate of my needs all along, Bella had a good time, amd I was given updates and pictures. I absolutely recommend Angie, and I will be contacting her again when the need arises. Thank you Angie and family for being so loving to my best girl!”

If your dog enjoys being around children and other small dogs, they'll have opportunities to socialize in a relaxed environment. I always provide a calm, clean, and caring home and will follow your pet's feeding schedule, exercise routine, and any special instructions to help them feel happy and comfortable.
“Miranda was amazing and very professional! She took care of our American Bully while I was at a conference, and he had a blast with the other dogs she has/fosters. Mo was tired after a day of playing and socializing! I would highly recommend her :)”

About: *CURRENTLY ACCEPTING EXISTING CLIENTS ONLY* I’m a local dog groomer, part time. I am currently only working with existing clients due to my senior dog’s health. I have my own little hobby farm, where I have dogs, cats, birds, arctic foxes, horses, goats, pigs, and fish! My family takes care of them when I’m taking care of your babies. I’ve fostered multiple orphaned animals as young as 24 hours old. I’ve cared for wild animal orphans until they could get to a rehab. I’ve cared for snakes, lizards, chinchillas, hedgehogs, ferrets, etc. I’ve bottle fed, given injections, and even have given IV fluids to my pets at vet direction. So, animal experience is putting it lightly! I house sit for friends and family frequently, and am looking to expand my services. My oldest pup is a super senior sheltie who needs a little extra love to stay comfortable. I also have a Pyrenees mix with severe storm anxiety that requires medication, so I’m familiar with what that entails. All of my dogs get a kibble diet paired with different supplements based on their individual needs, so I have no problem feeding more complicated diets as instructed. My foxes are primarily raw, and I’ve taken classes on pet nutrition. I’m currently training my red lab pup to be a cardiac alert service prospect, and have gone through maple creek training for obedience and socialization work. I’m constantly studying new techniques and ways to work with animals to keep them healthy and well rounded! My schedule now requires dogs to be left alone for around 6-8 hours a day, as I have to be able to care for my struggling pup. I am able to still do overnights, and weekends! Simply cannot do 24/7 stays. I’m comfortable walking or supervising your dog in a fenced yard, to potty. I can give medications and supplements as directed, to help keep your pet comfortable. If it’s a breed that requires brushing and maintaining while you’re gone? I’m comfortable doing it to prevent matting. Having so many different breeds dogs and cats of my own, under my belt, and having worked with so many others? I’m pretty comfortable with all pets. I’m working on receiving pet CPR classes, as well!

About: I’ve taken care of all kinds of animals since I was young! Growing up we had dogs, cats, horses, cattle, chickens and more. I have taken many veterinary medicine related classes as well as exotics. I can care for senior pets, puppies, and everything in between with the same love and care that I would my own. I also volunteer at the local animal shelter where I have gained even more experience with animals of different temperaments. Your pets will be safe with me! I currently work full-time but I am always looking to switch up my routine. I am awake early for my job so walking or taking pets out for the bathroom and breakfast in the morning perfectly aligns. The same goes for when I am home from work. During the weekends, I tend to be outside so walks, hikes, trips in the car are frequent. I will follow all guidelines given to me by the pet parent. I will also pay special attention to medical cases, seniors or those who may need it. With me, there will be lots of snuggles, potty breaks, walks, and vital checks (if needed) just like with my own fur babies. I can crate if needed but I prefer not too if it is not necessary.

“Chelsie took great care of my little guy, Finn. I met her before my trip and felt comfortable leaving him with her right away.

Because I keep my numbers low, each dog gets plenty of attention, structured playtime, and rest throughout the day. I’m available most weekdays and weekends, with drop-off and pick-up times arranged to keep transitions calm and stress-free. Dogs in my care are kept in a safe, structured, low-volume environment designed to reduce stress and overstimulation. I carefully manage group dynamics and only accept a small number of dogs to ensure compatibility. Pets are always supervised during play, with designated rest areas for downtime. I can accommodate crate routines if needed and follow each dog’s normal schedule as closely as possible. Cleanliness, safety, and a calm atmosphere are always my top priorities.

I currently work part-time from home which allows me to care for your dog full-time. I'm very open and flexible with schedules. I'm available for short or long term stays. I don't have a fenced in yard, but I do have 3 acres for your fur baby to run around and play. I will also akways keep your dog on a leash outside if needed. About: Hey, I’m Jeremy! An animal lover, outdoor enthusiast, and long-time pet caregiver. I’ve been walking dogs since I was 12 and have experience with both cats and dogs since before I can remember. I currently have a cat who I’ve cared for over the past three years, and before moving out on my own, I helped take care of our family’s pets, including three wonderful dogs over the years. I was involved in all parts of their care: daily walks, playtime, feeding, and of course, the less glamorous tasks like picking up after them. I'm patient, dependable, and always aim to make animals feel safe and loved. When I’m not spending time with animals, I work full-time in administration and graphic design at a funeral home. I’m also an officer in the Canadian Armed Forces, working with the Cadet Program. I work with youth aged 12 to 18 at the Sarnia Army Cadets, helping them build confidence, leadership, teamwork, and outdoor survival skills in a structured, military environment. I offer dog walking, play dates, house and pet sitting, and pet sitting in my own home. I love getting to know each pet’s unique personality and making sure they feel happy, relaxed, and cared for. I’m also a photographer — so don’t be surprised if you get a few great shots of your furry friend during our time together! Whether it’s keeping your dog active or making sure your cat feels at home, I treat every pet like family. I can't wait to meet my new fur friend! I work full-time on a 3-week rotating schedule, but I always know my availability in advance. My weekends rotate like this: one weekend I work, the next is a long weekend (Friday to Monday off), and the third is a regular Saturday–Sunday off. I usually have one weekday off as well, which I can use for walks or pet visits. Most days, I’m also able to pop by during my lunch break—usually between 1:30 and 2:30—for a quick walk, play session, or check-in. Your pet’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. I have a fully fenced backyard for safe outdoor time and plenty of space inside for pets to relax. I do have a cat, but she keeps to herself and tends to avoid other animals, so there’s very little interaction unless your pet is especially curious. I keep my home clean, pet-friendly, and free of any hazards. Whether I’m caring for your pet in my home or visiting yours, I always follow feeding routines, leash rules, and any specific instructions you leave. You’ll also get regular updates so you can feel at ease knowing your pet is in good hands.
