I also have a cat in our home who is very comfortable around dogs—she and Stanley are great friends—so your pup should be cat-friendly or at least respectful of cats. “This was the longest we have left our pup with someone outside of our family and Jerri did great acclimating Issa to the new environment and comforting her when she felt uneasy about the change (or thunderstorms). Our dog did an overnight before our trip to make sure she vibed with Jerri's dogs which helped smooth the transition even more. Jerri gave us regular updates while we were on our trip which made us feel better about leaving our pup while we were gone. Would love to work with Jerri again in the future!”

Most recent, I cared for our two adult male shepherds in all aspects - training, feeding, walking, nurturing and our two adult cats - training, feeding, activity and nurturing. I am a semi-retired remote bookkeeper and empty nester therefore I am home most of the time and have plenty of time to do drop in visits, walking or boarding. My caution level for keeping my pets safe and well cared for is very high. They are part of my family. I focus on their daily feeding schedule, ensure the catbox is kept clean daily, play with them (laser pointer and feather toy) for their exercise, and provide lots of love and cuddles too. When I have our shepherds, I walk them daily and play fetch and tug of war with a ball or rope.

“Kumar was absolutely wonderful with my two cats! I was especially nervous about leaving because one of them, Relic, is a formerly feral girl who’s very shy with new people. (Beezle, my other cat, is a social butterfly—toss him a treat and he’s instantly your best friend.) But Kumar handled Relic’s quirks with so much patience and care. He came by twice a day, sent me photos and videos every visit, and never hesitated to check in if he had questions. His communication was fantastic, and he totally put my mind at ease. If I need a sitter again, I’ll be crossing my fingers that Kumar’s available—he did an amazing job, and I’m so grateful!”
About: I had at least two cats in my household at any given time from birth until I was 17 years old, and after that I only had one senior cat left, who sadly passed in 2021. I am well aware that cats are very different from dogs! They require a different type of care, energy, and patience that most dogs don't. About: I've been around and have helped care for dogs and cats all shapes and sizes. Each one I've personally owned are a part of the family! I would take care of your fur baby like I'd want mine taken care of. I am a homeschooling mom which means your fur baby will be kept company while in my care. During the school year, on Saturdays, we sometimes will have sporting events to go to, as well as some week nights we will go to extracurricular practices but never gone for long! I currently have Midland's rail trail right in my back yard for nice walks if that's something you would like done. When we move in March we will have a large open park right in our backyard! However, my schedule is highly flexible, minimizing the time they are left alone. Cats: Cats may be left unsupervised in a designated, pet-safe room with regular check-ins. Handling Aggressive or Special Needs Pets I have extensive experience with fearful, reactive, and aggressive pets, but clear and honest communication is essential: Cats: I am comfortable handling feral or aggressive cats and will take the necessary time to build trust. I can administer medication as needed, but I require full transparency about their behavior to ensure safety for all. Dogs: I can accommodate dogs with minor behavioral challenges, such as leash reactivity or mild anxiety. However, for safety reasons, I cannot accept: Dogs over 50 lbs who are not at least moderately leash-trained. Dogs requiring a muzzle or choke collar in public settings. Dogs with severe aggression or unpredictable behavior. Double-Booking Policy For the safety and well-being of all pets, I do not double-book boarding, daycare, or walks unless all parties have given consent and a meet-and-greet has taken place. If multiple dogs are staying in my home at the same time, a meet-and-greet is required. Even if the dogs get along, they will not be left alone together unless securely crated. Cats and dogs boarding in my home simultaneously will be kept in separate areas with no contact.

About: I’ve had dog my whole life. I have watched dogs for friends and family and have experience with lots of different breeds. I’ve cared for elderly and unwell dogs as well as very energetic breeds. No dog is to big or to small. I am currently working full-time, so I am only really available on the weekends (Friday evening - Monday morning) I still enjoy doing this but it is currently more of a side gig. Regardless the quality of my services have not changed. 🙂 I am great at following instructions and only want what’s best for your animals. I am able to handle multiple animals at a time and I’m good at making sure they all get the attention they need. I have experience on Rover as well as being the go to person for family and friends when they need a walker or sitter. I have a husky of my own so I am fully equipt to handle your escape artist! I also have a 100 pound german shepherd who loves to chase a a squirrel so I am extremely confident in handling your large dog or dog who pulls on the leash. It can change daily so I am open to most times & will work with you to make it happen. I am happy to do early mornings or late nights. My schedule usually is M 7AM-12PM, T 2PM-7PM, W 7AM-12PM, TH 2PM-7PM, & F 7AM-12PM. I have had my dogs walked and taken care of in my home many times so I understand what is expected from the other end. Your dog’s safety is my #1 priority. About: I've had a dog in my household since I was 4 years old, and have extensive experience with senior canines, young puppies, and everything inbetween! I have worked with dogs professionally as well, from my time at The Paw Patch in Loganville to present day where I am a pet sitter outside of Rover, you can rest assured your pup is in good hands. I know every trick in the book to encourage that senior dog that doesn't finish all their food, and I am patient with the young ones who are still learning how to be a good citizen. Due to when my schedule gets filled up quickly, I request a grace period of 30-45 minutes from the scheduled time in case there is an emergency at another household, and I will always communicate if this is the case. I only offer visits and care at clients' homes currently. I have been in other industries where I am trusted to go into other people's homes with the guarantee that everything will be in its place and quality service is delivered - pest control and professional house cleaning. I can either leave the house key in it's designated place, or carry it with me on my own key ring with no worries at all. If you have a garage code I can navigate that as well! If you are away from home for an extended period of time, I will gladly bring in any packages and mail to ensure no one else gets any ideas about the security of your property. Doors will always be locked behind me and lights turned off if requested - that is a habit drilled into me from a young age and I always double and triple check the security of the home before leaving. This is very important to both me and you!

I have a friendly golden retriever named Stanley who absolutely thrives when he has other dogs to play with—so hosting furry friends is a joy for all of us! I work from home most days, which means your pup will get plenty of attention, supervision, and companionship throughout the day. My young kids also love having dogs around and are gentle, playful, and used to being around animals. I also have a cat in our home who is very comfortable around dogs—she and Stanley are great friends—so your pup should be cat-friendly or at least respectful of cats. I have a fully fenced-in yard for safe outdoor playtime, and I treat every dog that stays with us like part of the family. About: Bonafide Animal Lover! I grew up on a farm caring for many different animals & have always had either cats and/or dogs in my adult life. Most recent, I cared for our two adult male shepherds in all aspects - training, feeding, walking, nurturing and our two adult cats - training, feeding, activity and nurturing. My pets are part of my family & I will provide the same level of care to your pets as well! I am a semi-retired remote bookkeeper and empty nester therefore I am home most of the time and have plenty of time to do drop in visits, walking or boarding. My caution level for keeping my pets safe and well cared for is very high. They are part of my family. I focus on their daily feeding schedule, ensure the catbox is kept clean daily, play with them (laser pointer and feather toy) for their exercise, and provide lots of love and cuddles too. When I have our shepherds, I walk them daily and play fetch and tug of war with a ball or rope.

Pet Care in My Home Pets in my home receive dedicated supervision unless prior arrangements are made: Dogs: If a dog is staying with me and needs to be left alone for an extended period, I require a crate for their safety and comfort. However, my schedule is highly flexible, minimizing the time they are left alone. Cats: Cats may be left unsupervised in a designated, pet-safe room with regular check-ins. Handling Aggressive or Special Needs Pets I have extensive experience with fearful, reactive, and aggressive pets, but clear and honest communication is essential: Cats: I am comfortable handling feral or aggressive cats and will take the necessary time to build trust. I can administer medication as needed, but I require full transparency about their behavior to ensure safety for all. Dogs: I can accommodate dogs with minor behavioral challenges, such as leash reactivity or mild anxiety. However, for safety reasons, I cannot accept: Dogs over 50 lbs who are not at least moderately leash-trained. Dogs requiring a muzzle or choke collar in public settings. Dogs with severe aggression or unpredictable behavior. Double-Booking Policy For the safety and well-being of all pets, I do not double-book boarding, daycare, or walks unless all parties have given consent and a meet-and-greet has taken place. If multiple dogs are staying in my home at the same time, a meet-and-greet is required. Even if the dogs get along, they will not be left alone together unless securely crated. Cats and dogs boarding in my home simultaneously will be kept in separate areas with no contact.
