About: I've cared for both healthy cats and cats with underlying conditions. For 10 years I had a cat that was diabetic that I had to administer insulin to. My current cat is 15 and requires a lot of love and attention.My cat Mabel is a rescued kitten/ cat almost 16 years ago on Halloween night while coming home from work , about 4 cars ahead of me something went flying out the window . I was able to stop and pull over due to not having other cars behind me . It was very cold that night and the sun was just starting to set . I got out of my car and looked around for a few minutes but didn't see anything and I got ready to leave I hear faint cry and I turned and looked down into some tall weeds and there she was , this poor malnourished kitten crying for help . To make a long story short I got her home and the day my wife and I took her to vet . They kept her for 3 days running ivs into her . We able to come and after 3 days thinking she wasn't going make it. And here she is still with after such a traumatic start to her life . I am very grateful to have Mabel as my best friend and wouldn't trade for the world . I love you very much Mabel .

About: Lifetime pet owners of cats and dogs alike, Maeve and Jason have shared decades of pet-sitting duties for friends and family and all that entails from crate training to medication administration. We have flexible schedules, reliable transportation with dog seatbelts, a large wrap around fully fenced-in yard, and several forested acres with private nature trails to share with your best friend. Maeve is a WFH graphic designer and Jason is a self-employed carpenter living with our two sweet velcro cavalier king charles spaniels — Cricket & Disco. We have very flexible schedules with lots of love and attention to spare. We can easily break away for walks and drop-ins. We live across from Eagle Lake with a large wraparound fully fenced-in yard overlooking 15 private forested acres with trails for leashed nature walks. We have oodles of experience walking, camping, hiking, swimming, and playing with dogs in all environments and elements. Crates and gates are available if your best friend needs their space, but everybody is allowed to make themselves at home. We have lots of cozy nooks and beds. We work to ensure smooth introductions. I’m currently working part-time teaching dance to the youth between 4-9pm. This leaves my whole morning/afternoon open. About: I’ve taken care of my two Labs ever since I was 6 years old, (i’m 21 now) and have been dog sitting and cat sitting the past four summers!! Also I have worked in a vet clinic the past four years as well. I have the special skill of administering medication! I’m currently working part time at the vet clinic in the afternoons and it’s only 2-4 days a week usually. I can dog walk or pet sit in my free time during the day and on weekends. Possibly for a week or so. I unfortunately cannot watch them in my own home due to not having a good yard for them because it has a pool and not much area to run around. And also my dads allergies. “Julie & her husband, Joe watched my Jack Russell Terrier for a night recently. They both are very knowledgeable about dogs & treated mine as their own. I noticed my dog, Milo was very calm & seemed happy after we picked him up from their home. He got to spend time with their standard poodle, Bella which is great socialization for him. I will definitely use them in for future dog sitting needs. ?”

“Lindsay is fabulous! Margot loved her four night stay at her house. she was able to play with the dogs in her care during the day and she was extremely patient with her when she was whining at night in the beginning. I was worried that my six month doodle was going to come back matted after having five days without being brushed. I didn’t need to worry. Lindsay kept on top of the brushing (without being asked to do so). If we ever need a dog sitter in the South Bend area, we will jump at the opportunity to use Lindsay’s services again!”
“Tiffani was great with my Rudy. Treated him like her own. Great communication with me. Never worried for a minute that he wasn't having the best care. I know he had a great time because he was worn out when I picked him up. Not an easy thing to do with an active puppy like my Rudy. I would highly recommend Tiffani and will definitely have her look after him next time I am in town.”

“When I came across Rover and what it was all about, I was positive that this would be a site I would never use. Allowing someone else to care for my dog in their home, was an uncomfortable concept to me. However, when I had a vacation scheduled, and my go-to dog boarding center was booked, Rover was the only option. Clara's name was mentioned to me by another Rover user who was not able to dog sit my exact dates needed. When I messaged Clara, she replied within 5 minutes saying "YES! I will take care of your dog." No questions asked. She lives about 30 minutes from where I am located in Kzoo, but trust me when I say she is worth the drive. Her house is immaculate, and she has other wonderful pups, a horse and great fenced in greenspace outside. We received pictures and a brief summary of our dog every day. Throughout my vacation, I never worried once about my dog. Clara's first impression made me feel like my dog was immediately apart of her pack. I 1000% recommend Clara for boarding.”
