About: Experienced with all kinds of dogs. I grew up with an 8lb maltese and went to boarding school where I frequently took care of a golden doodle and a pitbull/boxer puppy. Spent a summer with my brothers dog (pitbull mix), dogsat 2 older dogs for a summer (golden and mini doodle) and also have some experience taking care of cats. I’ve had experience with over hyper dogs and anxious dogs so I know how to adjust their environment to make them most comfortable. I live in a small apartment but I am right next to a park and enjoy exercising/being outside. I am currently working Monday through Friday from 7-4:30 so I am not generally available till 5:30 on a weekday. I’m available on the weekends! I have no pets of my own so your pet will be getting my full attention. I live down the road from a large park and there are many walking paths nearby. For overnights, I do have a smaller apartment so I wouldn’t want to take any dogs larger than ~40lbs as it likely would not be enough room for them.

I have had 2 cats and a dog (Annie) and I have helped my grandma with her litters of Doberman during my entire childhood. I have two dogs who are friendly with other dogs and love play dates. I am a stay at home Mom so I will have plenty of time to take care of your pet and their needs. I can also help with simple commands, leash manners and potty training (outdoors only). Pets are Treated like one of the pack. My dogs do not have crates they are with me through out the day and night. I am familiar with crating but you will need to bring your own pets crate. I have als had a lot of fun with my regular day care clients and have happy customers.
About: I have had a dog since I was 3 years old. I have dog sat for a variety of people back in Montana and in Michigan. I'm super excited to meet new people and dogs! I also get along with other animals as well. Growing up I had pigs, chickens, horses, and a dog. I have dog sat for other families since I was 13 and have been dog walking since I was 10 just for neighbor dogs. I have dog sat a three month old puppy for 3 months while his mom went out of the country. My schedule is pretty open and flexible. About: I have 3 cats and a puppy. I’ve had 3 dogs in my life span. My mother in law has 2 dogs a huge dog (great paranyese) and a small dog. So I’m very good around dogs as well. Taylor called me at work (per my request) so that I could go over how to get into my house, etc. and she calmed my nerves too :) when she got there, he had tore up his mattress pad in his kennel- she cleaned it up so that he couldn’t eat it. About: I love taking care of and playing with dogs as I have had 5 throughout my life! I am recommended by my friends to others. I am currently a student at GVSU and I work at Butterworth hospital in Grand Rapids on the weekends. I am available to dog/cat sit Monday-Thursdays. Right now I live in an on campus apartment at GVSU and live 2 minutes away from a huge dog park. During the summer, I will be at home with a fenced in backyard in a very safe environment. About: I don’t have “professional” pet sitting experience but I do have personal experiences. My grandmother had puppies that I helped caring for them. She had two shih Tzu puppies that I loved like they were my own. Sadly, they both passed away around the same time.
