“Marissa has been wonderful! She has gone above and beyond to take care of my kitty cats. She is very detailed and professional, and I always look forward to her updates!”

About: While I’m new to caring for other people’s cats, I share my home with two of my own—and if there’s one thing I’ve learned, it’s that cats have their own rules. I know how to give them space when they want it, attention when they ask for it, and how to spot the little signs that tell you something’s off. I’m not just a sitter—I’m a fellow cat parent who gets it.

“I am so happy Sara is on Rover! She has watched my cats and dogs for years. Knowing Sara is caring for my animals gives me peace of mind. She checks in on my girls while I am at work. I know my pets are safe with Sara. Just meeting her you can tell she truly loves animals! Penelope & Mille are so excited to see Sara again soon! Thanks, Sara!!”

I am a graduate student at MSU so I keep a busy schedule, but I will always find time for your pets and treat them as my own! Although I am not certified I have trained my own dogs and can adjust to whatever level of obedience you are looking to attain. I also volunteer at an animal sanctuary so I have experience with all kinds of animals besides just cats and dogs. I would love to be able to assist you with any of the services I can provide for your furry friends! I am a graduate student so I do have classes during the fall and spring term and MSU employs me part-time as a teaching assistant. I do have availability inside and outside the working hours of the day depending on the day of the week during classes. In the summers, I currently work on research for MSU but have flexible scheduling to fit your pet care needs. I am a detail-oriented person and will care for your pets exactly the way you would in your own home. “Elizabeth is great, always caring and attentive! This is the second time she’s watched my cat, it feels great to have a sitter I know I can trust when I’m out of town.”

“I am so thankful for Hannah taking care of my cat while I was out of town. I had to leave last minute for my dads funeral and memorial services. The washing machine flooded the basement, ankle deep, the night before the flight out- not the only disaster. With Hannah / Rover, my kitty was one thing that was in good hands, one less worry. I messed up dates on the app, Hannah fixed it. She called me to let me know the power was shut off so I was able to fix it same day. I accidentally ordered a bunch of books that got delivered after we left, she brought them in. 10/10 would recommend. Happy happy cat and everything good when we got back.”

“Jonathan and Kayleigh were awesome. They took such great care of my Lucy girl going beyond what was required to make sure she got her attention and outside time. They took tons of pictures and it was clear that Lucy was in heaven while they were there. Super chill, very easy to talk to, would be very happy to have them look after Lucy again.”

“We loved having Karla check in on our pup while I was having a medical procedure out of state. I had an adverse reaction and had to stay an extra night and Karla saved our butts by being able to do an extra day! Very punctual and highly recommend using her!”

About: I have a very dog and cat friendly place to call home. Most days I am outside working around the property and the dogs are out with us. I’ve raised our dogs from 8 weeks old and the Labs are obedience trained and have taken their Canine Good Citizen class to hopefully be Therapy dogs soon. Our Pug is the youngest and raised by the Labs and of course, me. In the evenings it’s relax in the chair time. The dogs love to snuggle up and just nap after playing outside. I make my own work schedule and am able to fit work around pets. Usually only leaving the dogs for an errand run here and there. I go outside with all dogs and walk them on the property. I feed 2 times a day plus a snack or whatever is necessary for any visiting pet along with fresh water at all times. All pets have free range of the house day and night unless otherwise requested. I have an outdoor kennel for nice days if they need to be outside for a little while.
“Thank you Caroline for taking such good care of my Ku'uipo. The video's and pictures you sent of her eating and playing was greatly appreciated. We will definitely be coming back the next time we're in Michigan.”

“Baleigh provided excellent care and Sadie was tired and satisfied after her visit. They took walks and Sadie enjoyed playing with the other dogs as well. I appreciate Baleigh’s responsiveness and flexibility.”

“Kimberly was super flexible and great with our 7 month old pup, Maggie! She communicated well with us ahead of time and made the whole process smooth as we were navigating Rover for the first time. Her dog Sparky got along great with our dog and Maggie was nice and tired out in the evening. Thanks again!”

“Sheila is an amazing person and caregiver! Today was our dog’s first day with her, and our doggo was loved and very well taken care of. Thank you, Sheila!!”

“My dog has pretty severe separation anxiety as well as fear of other dogs. It has been challenging finding the right caretaker for him. Richard and Sarah have been fantastic with Guinness and he enjoys his time there. A little out of the way to get him there but worth it because of how great Richard and Sarah are with our boy.”

“Higgins was a happy boy with Layla. I would ask her to watch Higgins anytime. She was easy to communicate with, sent pictures, followed instructions, and most importantly Higgins was happy and well taken care of!”

“We are the first timer as we are new to this place with no reference. We took a decision to go with Dustin and Sarah with our gut feeling and it turned out to be such an amazing experience. They are extremely welcoming and treated my pet like their own family member. I will be definitely recommending them as a great people to take care of your pet.”

“Jason and Kristen have taken such great care of our dog Eddie. He usually has separation anxiety, but always RUNS to their door to be played with and cared for by this family. My requests and quirks are respected, photos are sent and communication response is as close to immediate as one can be. I rest easily knowing my dog is in responsible, caring hands!!”

About: I’ve had animals my whole life. I grew up on a dairy goat farm. All sorts of dogs, horses, cats, cows, goats, etc. I have had Chihuahuas all the way through German Shepherds. Puppy age all the way through their whole lives. I am the biggest animal (especially dog) lover! I love meeting new personalities. I would spend 24/7 lounging around with my dogs & cats if I could!🩷 I currently have a 16 year old Minature Schnauzer, and an under 1 year old Goldendoodle. My old girl currently takes quite a few medications and likes her alone time. My little man loves to play, be active, and requires hands on often. Therefore, I work with a spectrum of needs. I will make sure your baby has all the play time (or alone/rest time) they need!🩷 I am a professional MMA fighter & bar tend on the weekends! Most of my job consists of being at the gym just a couple hours at a time. And I live 5 minutes away from where I train! It makes spending time with & caring for pets easy and frequent. I only bar tend two days on the weekend (and my boyfriend is home most of that time too 😁 ) Home visits 🏡: In my client’s homes, I can easily care for your pets however you need. I will play games with your furry friends, lounge around with them, etc. I am a very active person & love taking long walks myself, so I would love to do that with your dog if you’d like! I have a spare room to give your pet some rest and seclusion too! That means I also have ample room to crate your doggie, if needed. We would love to have your best friend come hang with us 🙂
“Deborah was amazing with our 1 year old Labrador! Perfect home with fenced in yard for lots of playtime with her own pup. The two dogs were perfect playmates and even took a neighborhood walk! Highly recommended for a caring, loving home for your pet's care.”

About: In 2019, I started my journey foster raising puppies for PAWS with a Cause, an organization that custom trains service dogs. I raised 4 PAWS dogs, keeping them from 8 weeks to a year old. My first 2 actually became certified service dogs! In between fostering, I also raised 3 keeper puppies of my own. I have a female 5 year old lab, a female 2 year old golden, and a 1 year old male chocolate lab. Safe to say I'm addicted. I work remotely which gives me the flexibility to take my dogs out as they need. I go into the office on Tuesdays for a full day, however, I am able to take a long lunch if needed to take dogs out. I have a fenced yard and 3 friendly dogs at home. I have crate-trained dogs. I have taken my own babies to countless dog training classes, picking up a lot of knowledge of dog behavior.

About: I am a college student at Grand Valley State University. I am home for the summer, I have grown up with animals my whole life, and I absolutely love them! Pet care fits into my routine by being something I prioritize every day. Since I have five cats and one Beagle, I have responsibilities like feeding them, cleaning litter boxes, walking my dog, and making sure they're healthy and happy. Being a college student has taught me how to balance these responsibilities with classes, studying, and other commitments. I make sure pets are fed on time, have fresh water, get exercise and attention, and have a clean-living space. Since I care for five cats and one Beagle at home, I'm comfortable managing multiple pets and following a daily routine. In a client's home, I would carefully follow their care instructions, keep the pets comfortable, and treat both their pets and home with respect.

I’m a dependable, structured sitter who understands that pets do best when they feel safe, calm, and cared for—just like at home. As a busy mom managing a full household, I naturally bring consistency, patience, and attention to detail into everything I do—including pet care. I’m especially great with dogs who: • prefer routine • have a little anxiety • need calm, steady energy You can expect: ✔ timely communication ✔ daily photo + message updates ✔ a clean, safe, low-stress environment ✔ someone who treats your pet like family—but with structure I know how important it is to trust the person watching your pet, and I take that seriously. My goal is for you to feel completely at ease while you’re away. I’m currently working remotely so I’ll have plenty of companionship for your pet. I walk often myself so I’d be happy to exercise with your pet as well. I have a large yard that is unfenced. I’m open to coming to your home as well. I also have two daughters that are dog lovers that can’t wait to play with and love on your pets!

About: Animals have always been a huge part of my life, and there's nothing I enjoy more than making pets feel safe, loved, and right at home while their families are away. To give some insight on my experience, I have volunteered at my local humane society, caring for both dogs and cats. I then spent some time as a kennel attendant at a dog boarding facility where I cared for dogs with all kinds of personalities and needs. That experience alone taught me the importance of patience, routine, and attention to detail, especially when it comes to special diets and individualized care. Over the years, I've also been the go to pet sitter for friends and family, caring for dogs and cats of all ages. Whether your pet loves long walks, playtime, quiet companionship, or extra cuddles, I'm happy to match their routine and make sure they feel comfortable. At home, I'm owned by my sweet gray cat, Misty. Keeping her happy has made providing constant love and companionship second nature. When your pet is with me, they're not just being watched, they're being cared for like one of my own. I can't wait to meet your furry family member!! 🤍 I'm currently working full time in the restaurant industry. 90% of the time my schedule is 4pm-11:30pm Fri-Teu leaving some midday and late night availability. Please don't hesitate to reach out if your request falls outside of my availability as I may be able to accommodate if there's enough time ahead. I look forward to meeting you and your furry pet! 🤍 I provide a safe, calm, and loving environment where every pet receives personalized care based on their routine and needs. I carefully follow feeding schedules, administer medications if needed, ensure plenty of exercise and give endless affection. In clients' homes, I respect their space, maintain their pet's normal routine, and provide regular updates with photos for peace of mind.

About: I was a long time dog owner before my best friend Murphy passed away. Have owned cats even longer. Not ready for a new dog yet myself but would love to help out you and your fur babies! I work M-F 9-6 but with lunch hours I can drop in at a reasonable time during the day typically. Also have a side gig on the weekends but happy to work with you on a schedule we can all agree to! I trained my last dog from a puppy to an adult, with a real calming presence and patience to help. Also familiar with giving medication to cats and dogs alike
About: I have experience caring for not only dogs and cats, but also rabbits and other tiny critters. I worked at a kennel so I have worked with a great variety of dogs, big and small, old and young. I have experience with giving medication as well as bathing and training dogs. Because of my kennel experience, I am not afraid of any size dog, even if they are on the more aggressive and energetic side. I have studied pet behavior and understand where my boundaries are and I will never overstep their boundaries. I want the animals under my care to feel as comfortable with me as possible. I am currently a full-time college student at Grand Valley State, so I am unable to offer full-time services. I am mainly looking for weekend work butt will still accept certain hours during the week. I live in an apartment, so boarding at my home is not an option due to pet limitations. But I am more than willing to care for my clients pets in their home!

“Caroline provides great care to our dog! She gives lots of playtime outside with the other dogs and provides sweet video updates. We’re always very happy with our experience!”

“Kelly and Brandon were kind and communicative in helping us to set up our first dog sitting experience for our puppies. They kept us updated w photos all weekend and the pups seemed to have a great time!”

“Mandy was great! She kept my dog for over a week and was very flexible with drop off/pick up times. She sent daily updates and the cutest pictures! My dog was very spoiled by her family! I will definitely be using her in the future! Thank you Mandy!!!”

“Barbara and Dirk and Zoe were amazing! They welcomed Oliver into their home with love and affection. He was so comfortable and at ease with them. He settled right in and quickly became part of their household. They send me photos and updates while we were gone and I could see he was happy and relaxed with them. We highly recommend them we will definitely leave Olie with them when we need to travel in the future. They are the best!💕”

“Susan was great with our girls! From the start, I could tell our fur babies were at ease with her. She sent pictures and updates while they were in her care! She was quick to respond and very easy to work with. We will definitely book with Susan again!”

“Laura was wonderful. She had a fenced yard and two dogs for our dog to play with. She was so understanding when he had some loose stools. Even fed him some rice. She went above and beyond. I wish she had clones in every place we stay. Would definitely use again. She also kept us updated and sent pictures.”

“Jacqueline was very communicative before and during my dog's stay. I had a last minute request, but she was able to accommodate us and sent cute pictures of my dog. My dog has a great time playing and snuggling!”

“Kim is a fantastic pet sitter who cares for my fur baby exceptionally well. She is friendly, trustworthy, and caring. This is already our third visit, and my dog has enjoyed his stay each time.”

“Christine was calm and welcoming to Holly. She sent several photos to us and Holly returned happy and tired :) We already have our next booking set with Christine, thanks!”

“They took good care of my pup. They welcomed us in their home and made sure Snuggz was accommodated. They were even so kind to provide a bowl since I forgot to bring one. The communication was also great when needed. I would recommend”

“These guys are honestly some of the best sitters! Dodger ALWAYS loves his time here, and I literally have to drag him back home. On top of that they are extremely flexible on pick up and drop off.”
“Our dog, Fluff, had an great stay and was treated just like family while we were away. Fluff usually has a built-in radar for vets, groomers, and boarding facilities—he’s normally incredibly hesitant to leave the car when we arrive, and when we pick him up after a visit/stay, we typically get the 'stink-eye' and he can't get out the door and into the car soon enough. We didn't have any of those issues at Catherine’s place! He was completely relaxed, which tells us everything we need to know. I feel entirely at ease leaving Fluff with her again and plan to when we leave town again.”

“Baleigh is the best! This was my second time using her and the experience was amazing again. She always goes over and beyond, sending pictures, providing peace of mind and treating Nala like family. I highly recommend!”

“I can’t say enough positive about our first experience with rover which was with Kelsey and Kyle. They took tremendous care of our little yorkie girl who usually is clingy about us but when we picked her up and Kyle left the room she whined and in the two years we’ve had her, we had never heard her whine. They also sent us pics of our girl enjoying her day!! They’re great!!”

“Fabulous sitter! She was quick to reply and took care of our babe last minute. She even went out of her way to drop him off for us, and waited 5-10 minutes extra due to our event not being done yet. HIGHLY recommend! THANK YOU SO MUCH!”

“Linda is so great with our Ollie! He loves going to her house for all the walks, love and attention she gives him. We certainly appreciate all the communication and pics so we can see how well he’s doing while we’re gone.”
