“Max and Mariah took great care of our two 9 month old pups over an entire 4-day holiday weekend. These puppies are high energy and were allowed to play in their fenced in yard to their heart’s content and adjusted well to their already busy household. I will definitely check with them first if ever needing boarding again.”

I will feel very confident leaving him for an extended stay at the end of the month.”

About: Hi! I am new to Rover, but caring for dogs is something my family truly loves. I have a friendly golden retriever named Stanley who absolutely thrives when he has other dogs to play with—so hosting furry friends is a joy for all of us! I work from home most days, which means your pup will get plenty of attention, supervision, and companionship throughout the day. My young kids also love having dogs around and are gentle, playful, and used to being around animals. I also have a cat in our home who is very comfortable around dogs—she and Stanley are great friends—so your pup should be cat-friendly or at least respectful of cats. I have a fully fenced-in yard for safe outdoor playtime, and I treat every dog that stays with us like part of the family. Whether your dog loves to play or just relax, I will make sure they feel comfortable, loved, and right at home. Since I’m just getting started on Rover, I’m excited to build relationships with both pets and their owners and provide a safe, trustworthy environment you can feel confident in. I currently work a hybrid schedule. I am home 2-3 days a week. We do have a fenced in yard and a doggy door. I have a fenced in yard and my animals are our family. They are welcome to lay where they are comfortable and shares the bed with me if needed.
“Jessie and family are the best! Mya gets excited to be there before i can get her out of the car- Thank you so much for taking her- you know she will be back to play with you all!”

“Literally the BEST person for our senior pup! She sent multiple daily updates, treated him really well, and basically spoiled him rotten! She even asked questions about his needs and wants. She referred to herself as “granny” for Benji, and by the end of his stay, Benji and I both agreed that she’s his granny! Ive never used this app before and she was my first person to try boarding with, and it was awesome. Will 100% come back if I need a sitter and 100% recommend her. :)”

About: I have grown up with dogs around my whole life, from the puppy stage up to the old age. 3 years ago I got a dog of my own with that I fully got to learn how to care for. With that administrating medicine, long walks, puppy stage and training I have gotten to learn. I would fully treat your dog as my own and make sure they are the absolute most tail wagging version of them selves wether that be playing fetch, going on a long walk, dog park or even laying on the couch I am ready for whatever it is!! “Sydney was excellent with our two dogs! She made them feel comfortable and took care of their needs very well. She sent photos and summaries after each visit and was really quick with her communication. Our schedule shifted a bit due to our travel plans, and Sydney was flexible with all the changes. We will definitely keep her in mind for the next time we need help with our dogs!”

“Erica was FANTASTIC! I needed a last minute sitter after a cancellation and she was wonderful. As someone in rescue, I can see how she is respectful and knew animals. Erica was awesome with my kitty, Chunky! I recommend Erica if you need someone!!!”

About: I finally talked my mom and Grandma into letting me have a cat when I was 15. I named her Simpson, and despite her lowly birth, she was a divine fluffy black and white princess. Her warm welcome included oral dewormer, a bath, a good brushing, a nail trim, and topical flea treatment. I have since gained experience trimming nails and applying flea medication/preventative to cats other than my own. I love engaging kitties in play, a relaxing brush session, or simply finding which unconventional places they prefer most to nap in. I will carefully measure food, or make sure a bowl is never empty. Scooping litter is a breeze, and I can scrub a box with the best of them. I am no stranger to cleaning hairballs and vomit, but if your cat is likely to make a mess I would like to know where the cleaning supplies are kept and what you'd like me to use. I respect their autonomy and will snuggle those who request it, and leave be the ones who prefer to be left alone. If your feline friend longs for the outdoors, please provide instructions on how to best ensure they stay inside- I WILL cry if your cat escapes on my watch.

Perfect for high energy dogs - Wheeler
“Christin is amazing! She watches our puppy Newfie everyday and sends lots of pictures throughout the day. She has helped us introduce Newfie to many new experiences, has helped with potty training, and has been working with him at walking on a leash. Newfie loves her and has made friends with the other doggies. We highly recommend her!”

“My dogs came home tired and so so happy! Jessica sent plenty of photos and its clear that all the dogs in her care get tons of love and attention. Looking forward to weekly care for my pups🥰”
“Jennifer was awesome as always. This was our second time using her services. She is great with communication and she tired our puppies out with walks, playtime with other dogs, and just giving them so much love. She really treats them like family. She is great at reading dog behavior and she goes above and beyond meeting thier needs. We will definitely be our first choice anytime we need someone to watch our pups!”

About: I grew up with dogs. My siblings and I were entrusted to take good care of our own dog since we were toddlers to train us to be responsible. I treat dogs as a gentle member of the family, like a child who needs parental love, care, protection and provision. My friends and family fully entrust to me their dogs, to play with them, walk, feed and even groom them. I had experience in taking care from puppy days to senior and sickly days. I enjoy taking dogs for a walk, play with them, give belly rubs and make sure that they are hydrated, fed on time and clean as dogs are welcome on our furnitures and bed. We have a fence for dogs to play outdoors. If you need a safe and happy home for your furbabies while you are away, we welcome them in our home and will be treated as our own family member. My dog and I are home most of the time, and we are thrilled to share that time and our tender loving care with your furbaby while staying at our place. I have a fenced yard for dogs in a safe and quiet neighborhood. I have one cuddly dog to give your furbaby company and makes his/her stay comfortable. I have a regular schedule when it comes to feeding, potty runs, walk and play time with dogs.

“This guy is the real deal! He knows what he’s doing. For example, he knows how to introduce dogs to each other and is very observant of dog behavior. I feel very secure with him taking care of my little guy.”

About: I've been around and have helped care for dogs and cats all shapes and sizes. Each one I've personally owned are a part of the family! I would take care of your fur baby like I'd want mine taken care of. I am a homeschooling mom which means your fur baby will be kept company while in my care. During the school year, on Saturdays, we sometimes will have sporting events to go to, as well as some week nights we will go to extracurricular practices but never gone for long! I currently have Midland's rail trail right in my back yard for nice walks if that's something you would like done. When we move in March we will have a large open park right in our backyard! We have a sweet Goldador at home that loves playmates and also two cats that sleep the day away. My three kids (ages 8 - 13) have been shown from the beginning how to respect and love animals and they will be a wonderful addition to keeping your fur babies feeling loved and cared for!
“Erin has a beautiful, large fenced in yard for dogs and children. She is conscientious, kind, on time, and communicates with her clients. Molly likes her. I will definitely trust Erin with my Molly again.”

About: I've taken care of all kinds of animals all my life. I totally understand that your dog is you child. I have 2 of my own. Just moved to the area and wanted to try Rover. Something different. So as of now I'm doing only Rover. Open schedule as of now. I have a fenced in back yard on 20 wooded acres. You cannot see my house from the road. I also have an extra large crate if needed.
“Kathy is amazing. Isabel can be timid when she goes to a new place, but she walked into Kathy's like she lived there. Made it much easier to leave my fur baby for daycare.”

“Blythe was very accommodating. She took us as a fairly last minute booking since we had a funeral and my previous sitter had just moved away. My pickup estimate was off and she was kind enough to keep Grokii an hour or two longer than expected even though it coincided with putting her kids to bed. Her kids are absolutely adorable and I know Grokii was doted on because he slept almost the entire next day. Great family - highly recommend!”

As a business owner who manages my own time, I prioritize reliability and responsiveness, ensuring that your pet’s needs are always met with the highest level of care and attention. Commitment to Quality Care in Your Home When caring for your pet in your home, I strive to go above and beyond to ensure both your pet's well-being and your peace of mind. If I notice anything out of place or in need of tidying, I’m happy to help—but always with your prior approval. I understand that personal preferences vary; some clients prefer to handle certain tasks themselves, while others appreciate the extra assistance. My goal is to respect your space and treat your home with the same level of care I would my own. Having spent the last two years renovating my own home, I deeply understand the importance of maintaining a clean and organized environment. Safety and Pet Care Best Practices Your pet’s safety is my top priority, and I take every precaution to ensure their well-being: Secure Transportation: If I transport your pet, they will always be properly restrained with a seatbelt or pet travel carrier for safety. Leash & Walk Safety: On walks, I ensure pets do not pick up items from the ground. I also clean their paws after every outing, just as I do with my own pets. Hygiene & Health: If your pet gets dirty, I will provide a bath with your permission. Any medical concerns will be addressed immediately, and I am trained in emergency pet first aid, excluding surgical procedures. Home Security: I will ensure all doors and windows are securely locked when leaving your home. Privacy & Updates: I will only take photos of your pet for your updates and will never photograph your home without permission. Supervision & Outdoor Time: Pets in my care will never be left alone in a vehicle or outside unattended, even in my fenced yard. Cats will remain indoors unless they are harness-trained and you request outdoor time. Stranger Interaction: While on walks, your pet will not interact with strangers or other animals unless pre-approved for socialization. Pet Care in My Home Pets in my home receive dedicated supervision unless prior arrangements are made: Dogs: If a dog is staying with me and needs to be left alone for an extended period, I require a crate for their safety and comfort. However, my schedule is highly flexible, minimizing the time they are left alone. Cats: Cats may be left unsupervised in a designated, pet-safe room with regular check-ins. Handling Aggressive or Special Needs Pets I have extensive experience with fearful, reactive, and aggressive pets, but clear and honest communication is essential: Cats: I am comfortable handling feral or aggressive cats and will take the necessary time to build trust. I can administer medication as needed, but I require full transparency about their behavior to ensure safety for all. Dogs: I can accommodate dogs with minor behavioral challenges, such as leash reactivity or mild anxiety. However, for safety reasons, I cannot accept: Dogs over 50 lbs who are not at least moderately leash-trained. Dogs requiring a muzzle or choke collar in public settings. Dogs with severe aggression or unpredictable behavior. Double-Booking Policy For the safety and well-being of all pets, I do not double-book boarding, daycare, or walks unless all parties have given consent and a meet-and-greet has taken place. If multiple dogs are staying in my home at the same time, a meet-and-greet is required. Even if the dogs get along, they will not be left alone together unless securely crated. Cats and dogs boarding in my home simultaneously will be kept in separate areas with no contact.
“What a gem! I was VERY nervous leaving him as he’s quite old and currently needs his activity curtailed due to back problems. She kept in frequent contact and sent many pics. I would highly recommend!”

About: A lifelong animal lover, I enjoy romping through the woods with dogs, as well as sharing their company by a burning fire. About: Hi, I'm Lexie. I am high-masking autistic, which for me means that I look and sound pretty "normal" but my brain is structured differently. My special interest is dogs! Mainly behavior but also history, breeds, care... Anything dog. I am a dog-trainer-in-training currently pursuing certifications that will help me teach dogs with behavioral issues that the world is ok! I am experienced with multi-dog homes that need "crate and rotate" care, "hands off" care, puppy care, and if you leave instructions I could do just about anything- I am not bothered by reptiles, amphibians, non-flying (pet or feeder) bugs, although I am nervous of birds. I'm very detail oriented. My background in home healthcare ensures that your home and pet(s) will be respected, and I am comfortable administering oral or topical medications. My availability is from 9am-5pm Monday-Thursday, Fridays from 8am-3pm. On Fridays, my 5 year old is home with me and will likely accompany me to drop-ins. She is dog savvy (for her age) and is respectful of dogs and cats, but since she is small I can only visit cats and well-mannered pups! I am a fan of cooperative techniques. I would rather spend 15 minutes strategizing how to entice "Fluffy" back in their crate than try to force them. For potty visits, I prefer to clip a long drag line to the dogs harness or collar- just in case they don't respond to a recall from me, or if there is any chance at all they might make a break for it! That way, we can still play and have fun, but with a safe guard in place. For walks, I will always want to specify if you are wanting a structured walk or a sniffari, or a combination. Structured walking is only available to dogs that already know how to walk on a loose leash. If you are interested in loose leash walking, that is something we can work on! For feeding or medications, I will need exact instructions! How much food, what you use to measure it (example: 1 full scoop with the blue cup on the counter, 8oz raw thawed in fridge, fill up the black kong, etc), and amount of supplements or extras. For oral meds, please specify if it needs to be "hidden" and what to hide it in (wet food, pb, etc.)
About: Ever since being a young little girl, I have cared for dogs and they have a special place in my heart. I grew up with a yellow lab and took great care of her. As an adult I am the go-to pet sitter for my family and friends. I have watched small family farm taking care of goats, horses, dogs, and outdoor cats too. I have more experience with mid to older dogs than puppies, but I have also helped take care of puppies too. I am currently searching for a full-time position; therefore, I have flexibility for during the day for potty breaks or walks, evening care, and overnight stay at your house. I am unfortunately renting currently and have a no pet policy so I cannot board at this time. Your pet is to be treated like my own. I follow the owners lead but I love playtime, indoor or outdoor, walks by leash and harness, and cuddles and loves. I only give treats if that is what the household wants. I wish to keep the routine as similar to what the animal is used to.

I am more than willing to come to your house or host in my home also. Long or short periods. Animals are the best and I'd love to help take care of yours also! I am home 90% of the day so am open 7 days a week anytime. Rather your pets needs are big or small I have time for it all. I have a dog cable and large yard. Pets are welcome with or without cages. Will be loved and cared for just as if they are mine.
About: Farm girl with tons of animal experience ! I’ve had several different pets in my lifetime to include dogs, cats, horses, hedgehogs, rabbits, pigs and more I’m currently a WFH/stay at home mom who personally owns 4 indoor pets( 2 dogs, 1 cat and 1 rabbit) and multiple farm animals. As a farm kid to now, I’ve have extensive knowledge in how to provide the proper care to several different species :) I do have a fenced in back yard in which all animals can safely be contained in for bathroom and play breaks but do take daily walks down the road and if permitted on leash around the farm to explore the 11+ acres we have to offer

About: A lifelong animal lover, I enjoy romping through the woods with dogs, as well as sharing their company by a burning fire. I'm a freelance writer working from my home, so your hound has a constant companion in my care. The walks help me think while letting the dog burn off some energy. I'm also willing to travel to let your best friend out on a day-to-day basis, or overnights as necessary. Your cat, should he or she stay overnight, would receive lots of attention from two teenagers and a first-grader (even if the cat is indifferent to it). Our dogs have always been part of our family, and we'll treat your pet like one of our own. We look forward to meeting you and yours.

I can also stay in home if wanted. My main priorities are making animals feel comfortable and loved. I want them to know that I am a safe person to be around. For my animals at home I always make sure they are fed on time and played with to the fullest extent. Sadly animals don’t have the longest lives so I pride myself on making their lives the best possible!

“Max and Mariah took great care of our two 9 month old pups over an entire 4-day holiday weekend. These puppies are high energy and were allowed to play in their fenced in yard to their heart’s content and adjusted well to their already busy household. I will definitely check with them first if ever needing boarding again.”

“Jessica was amazing with our pups. She kept us updated on how their days were going along with pictures and video. I would definitely book with her again and anyone reading this should as well.”

“Larisa was wonderful! My dog Jonah stayed one night and she was his new mom, haha. He loves her and adored her little dogs, they were fast friends. This was Jonah's first time away from home and I was worried about him but he seemed to bond with Larisa and that made me so happy.

“Kristen was amazing! She kept us up to date on how everything was going. She also sent pictures and went above and beyond to make our puppies feel comfortable! I would recommend her to anyone looking for a sitter! Thank you for making this such a wonderful experience!”

“Janis did a great job with Remi! I was a bit apprehensive about her two larger dogs with my 27 lb. boy, but she kept things in order and even sent me a video of him hanging out with another dog she was watching. It was comforting to know he was in good hands for the day.”

“I have no doubt that Patricia loved our dog as her own while we were away. She communicated with me while we were away and sent pictures of the fun things they were doing together. She is a true dog lover and I would for sure hire her again!”

“Ashly was great! Very accommodating to our schedule and to our boy Hank. We had an enjoyable and relaxing get away knowing Hank was well taken care of! Highly recommend, and will definitely call Ashley again when we are in the area next summer!”
