About: Furry Friend Care experience includes caring for cat(s) needing regular injections (subcutaneous), special dietary needs, and walking multiple dogs (familiar with each other). Light grooming, as well! As a free agent with Home bases in both Munising and Marquette, I have flexibility!Please specify what area/ community when you request services. We all have things we care about and want to ensure are safe and cared for when we're not around. I will give care and consideration to your fur friends, their routines and safety! My house sitting, boat sitting, fur friend care, & companionship extend from Marquette to Munising, and Chocolay to Big Bay! Care to be in your home, unless special conditions are made. My current familiar is a gorgeous grey Nebelung cat, adopted as a kitten 5 years ago. She requires a special ZD diet and biweekly subcutaneous shots. I have experience attaching kitty nail caps, when she was younger, with coordinated guidance while we were sussing out an unknown skin condition that was causing her to scratch aggressively, continually opening wounds, not giving them a chance to heal. Her condition is now under control, and she no longer requires the nail caps. Prior cats I have cared for have ranged from 3 lbs to 28 lbs! Our family pooch is an English Springer Spaniel, a unique tri-color showcasing beautiful Sable color. We welcomed him to our home 6 years ago. He is our 2nd Springer in 21 years. They are such a loving, fun, and gentle breed. I have much experience in connecting with and walking rescue dogs as well, mixed breeds including Sharpei, Pit Bull, Rottie, Jack Russel, Corgie, Labradoodles, Spaniels, etc. Sanitation is the start of keeping our friends safe and healthy; exercise and fresh air are necessary as well to have a happy, healthy home life. I can provide these things for your loved furry friend(s) while you are traveling or working.

About: I grew up in a household of dogs of many kinds, with a variety of sizes and breeds! I currently have a corgi named Faye, she is my everything! We love going on runs/ walks and keep her on a strict training and schedule! I work from 8:30 to 4:00 Monday through Friday. I am free to stop by before and after work and free on the weekends. For overnight care in my home any night works. I am super accommodating to any of your dogs needs including puppies to older dogs. For the high energy we have a large yard for getting all the energy out! . I have a very friendly dogs at home that get along with everyone! For anything specific for your pets needs please feel free to ask!

About: Hi, I am Bri! I grew up on a small dairy farm in Wisconsin and was raised with border collies. I have always loved animals. I currently have two dogs of my own, a 13 year old rescue Mini Australian Shepherd and a 7 year old Border Collie mix. I work from home which allows me to spend lots of time with my fur babies! I would love to spend time with your pet and would provide outstanding care! Our home in Skandia, MI is just 20 minutes from Marquette, so if you are traveling to the area and need dog care for just the day or longer, please reach out. About: I’ve taken care of other friend’s cats while they were away and administered medications. I’m allergic so I can’t have my own but I can’t resist petting them. (Benadryl helps)

About: I don't consider the time I get to spend with pets a "job", I feel that being in this business is a privilege. I have years of experience with many types of dogs and cats so I am very comfortable around them and I have developed the skills necessary to deal with many different situations. I do enjoy getting to know the pet parents and endlessly discussing my favorite topic, pets. I willl at all times put the safety and well being of the pets in my care first. I feel that all animals entrusted to my care deserve to be treated exactly the same way I would treat my own personal pets. I will do whatever it takes to ensure the pet parents' peace of mind while their pets are in my care.

“Goose had the best time staying with David for the day! He sent several picture updates of her swimming in the water and hanging out with his labs- she fit right in! This was the first time we had left Goose with someone other than family, but David was so nice and friendly when we got there so we felt at ease leaving her there. I couldn’t recommend David enough for anyone traveling through the area and wanting to do some of the hikes in Pictured Rocks where dogs aren’t allowed.”
