“My pups loved their weeklong stay with Janelle (and Kevin!)! Janelle went above and beyond with my somewhat “special needs” and raw fed dogs (a puppy and a CHF dog with a strict medication administration routine). Despite a week of nasty humid and stormy weather, Janelle managed to get them outside to play when it cleared up, but they were also content snuggling or napping. I was sent daily reports and pictures. My dogs usually take a bit to warm up to strangers, but this was not the case with Janelle- they were immediately comfortable and returned home happy and well fed. This is the second time with her and I won’t trust anyone else to care for them moving forward!”

About: We’ve had a family puppy for as long as I can remember! My brother and I do lots of volunteering between nearby shelters and we also do watch other dogs. My aunt has two German Shepards and a pit-bull that I watch quite often so I have experience with bigger dogs as well. I’m currently working a full time job from 8:30-4:30 PM, M-F. I can watch a dog any day during the week and or overnight as long as they can go that long without potty breaks! If the house is nearby I can go on my lunches to let the pets out :) We currently have an electric fence and colar for our puppy and are very cautious any time letting him out. Our pack leader Austin has been an amateur mush dog trainer for two years with plans to compete in 2026. He is great with dogs of all sizes and has a heart for all breeds. What got him into dog training for others was E-collar training 2 of our dogs himself after having our husky trained professionally. This gave us the freedom to adventure with our pups the way we longed to. We have been doing basic grooming for our labradoodle for 3 years, nail trimming all of our dogs' nails for 5 years, and bathing them for nearly 7 so your dogs will be in loving hands if they are in need of some pampering! I'm currently a full-time at home parent and dog dad. My schedule is flexible with advance notice, but for our daily schedule I do biking with my husky, playtime in the back yard, and the pups nap or have hangout time in the dog den! I have a garage for grooming and introductions, then two gates used to separate the dog areas from the rest of the house. Within the dog area is a finished basement and den if dogs need to be separated. At this time, I have 2 crates of different sizes for use if needed or desired. The backyard is fully fenced and great for runners to get out excess energy.

About: Hello my name is Justin L, I am 39 years, single, no kids and work full time. I lost my dog about 5 years ago and it was very hard to deal with. I am not ready to commit to another one yet, so I figured I might as well get my dog fix by helping others out on their vacation or their busy schedules. I always grew up with dogs and have had them all from small to large. Dogs are a mans best friend is the most true statement and I will always provide the best care for those dogs. Life would be so boring without dogs in it. I hope at some point in the future to get my own dog. I am available after I am off work. Depending where I’m working and where you are located I can possibly swing by during lunch time as well. I like to listen to what the owners say as far as what their preference for how they want their pet to behave. Any parameters with the house they typically write them up and I keep them updated throughout the day with photos of the pets.
About: I have always grown up with dogs whether they were a lab, a pug or a pitbull. Was also a dog bather for a dog salon in East Lansing area in Michigan. Trying to raise money for a new car, and take care of my pup. I am currently a Real Estate Agent! So my time is always managed in the right way and can always work around the pets needs! “My pups loved their weeklong stay with Janelle (and Kevin!)! Janelle went above and beyond with my somewhat “special needs” and raw fed dogs (a puppy and a CHF dog with a strict medication administration routine). Despite a week of nasty humid and stormy weather, Janelle managed to get them outside to play when it cleared up, but they were also content snuggling or napping. I was sent daily reports and pictures. My dogs usually take a bit to warm up to strangers, but this was not the case with Janelle- they were immediately comfortable and returned home happy and well fed. This is the second time with her and I won’t trust anyone else to care for them moving forward!”
