About: Hello! Thanks for taking the time to read about my background with animals! When I was 15, the family I nannied for noticed the care I took of their pets and hired me to also pet sit during their vacations-and that was my start to pet care! After being a foster parent and dog sitting through Rover in 2019, I worked at the Harbor Humane Society for over a year. There I learned an extensive amount of information on cats and dogs. Highlights have been how to assess, approach and understand different pets with special behavioral needs. Some things include accurate leash holding, flea/tick application, how to asses and handle animals with different behavioral needs, basic health information and advice, etc! I am hoping to fill my summer break up with lots of pet care! I am currently a full time college student, as well as part time Character Performer through Olivia Grace & Co. so my schedule may-aug is very open! Once I get my schedule for the fall, I will update with day and times! When speaking prior to a job, I will ask each client about how they normally handle their pets and anything related to their home that I might run into. Feeding schedules, potty habits, where they are allowed go, behavioral habits and quirks (Ex: if they recourse guard their food or toys, this is something Id like to know!), any special needs and things they prefer! I go as far as to ask how many treats they are used to getting! The more information, the better in my mind!

“Just fabulous. On our meet and greet, Barts (my cat) took to Maggie immediately. During her check-ins, I got timely updates and plenty of photos - playtime, open window time, snacks and cuddles. Excellent communication at all times. Maggie even helped me out by watering some plants, and took the initiative to take my trash can out to the curb for pickup even though I hadn’t mentioned it. “Frances & her family were the perfect ones to take my Sadie for a week while I was away! They were able to make her feel at home and entertained enough so that she wasn’t miserable, like if she had to stay at a kennel. Plenty of treats and snuggles shared with fenced in yard to get out some energy. It was great to get daily updates to know how she was doing, and happy to know she warmed up after the first night of being in a new place. Will definitely book again if needed :)”

About: I come from a family that has always sheltered, rescued, and spoiled all the fur babies that come into our lives. Patience and affection are our gifts. I work from home part time. That leaves my schedule open to caring for others pets in my home or for drop ins and walks. I have a fenced in yard and a large home with plenty of room. If your pupper is unfamiliar with cats I can ensure safe space kept between them. Walks, couch potato time, and kiddos in and out make for plenty of love and activity. My children are old enough to provide respectful space to pets that need it.
