I know how important check ins are so you can be sure your fur baby is well & happy! I work from home most days so my schedule is flexible and allows me to be home with your fur baby! My home is comfortable and pet friendly and if they are sun seekers I have a great deck for them to lounge on. I have a fenced in back yard with room to roam and live in a safe cul-de-sac neighborhood perfect for dog walking! Couches are not off limits in my house 😊
“Mari Jane was an amazing home away from home for Chico! He got to meet chickens, goats, and other dogs while I was out of town for five days on vacation. As soon as I got him into the car after pick up, he fell right asleep! I could tell he had a great time. A few days he had developed a bit of a limp, and Mari Jane kept me super updated on his progress. He doesn't know when to quit and it turns out he just was having too much fun on the farm! I now have the sweetest pitbull who plays amazing with all dogs, and shares the same mannerisms (loving, playful, smart) I take care and sit my neighbors dogs as well. During the summer I take dogs to kirk park dog beach , which is heaven for them I can work from home so I’ll be able to oversee them. My yard is about 1000 sq ft. Plenty of treats and snuggles shared with fenced in yard to get out some energy. It was great to get daily updates to know how she was doing, and happy to know she warmed up after the first night of being in a new place. Will definitely book again if needed :)”

About: I’ve cared for, trained, and loved animals for 40+ years and would be happy to care for yours while you are away. I know how important check ins are so you can be sure your fur baby is well & happy! I work from home most days so my schedule is flexible and allows me to be home with your fur baby! My home is comfortable and pet friendly and if they are sun seekers I have a great deck for them to lounge on. I have a fenced in back yard with room to roam and live in a safe cul-de-sac neighborhood perfect for dog walking! Couches are not off limits in my house 😊
“Mari Jane was an amazing home away from home for Chico! He got to meet chickens, goats, and other dogs while I was out of town for five days on vacation. As soon as I got him into the car after pick up, he fell right asleep! I could tell he had a great time. A few days he had developed a bit of a limp, and Mari Jane kept me super updated on his progress. He doesn't know when to quit and it turns out he just was having too much fun on the farm! He was perfectly fine by the time I picked him up. I will definitely go with Mari Jane again in the future, thank you again!!”

About: I have pet sit, walked, ran, leash trained, and mentally stimulated dogs of all breeds since a kid. Each dog needs all of these things in different ways and I am here to figure that out to insure your pup and you get the best from me. I used to be under the LLC Dogs On the Run Grand Rapids, but life (two children, moving to Holland etc) put that on hold. I am now so excited to start giving Hollands furry family members what they need! I would love to meet you and work with you and your dog to give them the energy and visit or stay that they need! I have ran and walked dogs no matter the weather. Visits and Stays will come with pictures, arrival and departure time, a map of where we walked/ran, and any notes of our adventure! Send me a message and lets talk about your furry friend today! I am currently working, but that can be worked around your schedule and your pets needs. I am always willing to find the best scenario and schedule! For those going on walks and runs, we will work with what you use and what works best for your dog. All dogs are different. Also, what you want from your dog is different as well. If they need some leash training we can do that as well. My car is dog friendly, so if ball at the park is what they need, or a swim, I am down for that as well! Variety is the spice of life!
