About: Cats certainly one of my favorite animals, when I was a little girl I had a “feral” kitten. It took me nothing but a couple weeks to turn the frightened creatures whole mindset around by showing it love & compassion. I specialize in dietary care for cats due to my cat needing that specific type of care, I enjoy cats of all personality’s wether they are jumping off the walls with energy or a senior kitty who has a little bit of trouble using the bathroom. I’ve helped them all :)

About: I have had cats in my life for more than 30 years. I know they can range from independent to shy to super affectionate companions. I have had all of these personalities over the years with my current 18 year old cat as a very vocal and affectionate cat. I’ve had one cat in my household growing up, a rescue named Pancakes, but she passed away from cancer last year. However, that did give me a lot of experience with administering oral medications. I have given medicine to elderly and sick cats I’ve pet-sat for friends before as well.

About: I have worked at the Humane Society of South Central Michigan for 8 months now and absolutely love working with the dogs and cats there. I have also pet sitted on occasion for a family friend that has 3 dogs and 3 cats. I also have been asked by a friend to check in on her dog and let her go potty outside and give her some loving. I also worked at Camp Wakonda in the nature center so I have experience working with not just dogs and cats, but other pets like hamsters, guinea pigs, rabbits, chinchillas, a snake, bearded dragon, and a hedgehog. I work part time at the Humane Society. My hrs vary depending on how my boss makes the schedule for each week. I usually work Sundays 8 to 3. Sometimes Mondays 8 to 3 if in the dog area, and 8 to noon if the cat area. Tuesday through Friday I work 8 to noon and sometimes a day or two of the week I have the afternoon shift noon to 5. I don't own any animals of my own right now, but I have cared for animals at work and for friends when they need a pet sitter. When I care for any animal I will not neglect them. I will play with them if they want attention. I will groom them if they need it. I will feed and water them if given instructions to do so. I will give them lots of loving.

About: I am working on some pretty amazing updates. Additional outdoor yards are in the works, as well as a perimeter fence around the home property! I have also added Tracki to my collars. Tracki runs on global GPS (satellite feedback) and not cellular feedback, giving that extra security for your pups with no interruption in tracking! Bark & Barn is a privately insured in-home kennel that provides overnight and day boarding options as well as drop-in visits/walks for all pets, exotic included. I also provide optional training for dogs. I have five years of experience as a veterinary assistant in a high volume multi-species setting. With this, I have gained the knowledge, training, and experience in animal behavior as well as proper technique in safe animal hold, administering all forms of medication, administering emergency fluids, and animal CPR. Your pups will have access to multiple sections of my home, a fenced play yard, and walks over 120 acres of farm fields and streamed woods! Discipline is and will always be reinforcement based. I have experience with reactive dogs and understand any dog can be reactive in the right setting, so meet and greets are a must! Our personal working dogs are not within the home's boundaries and remain with their flock at all times.

About: I had taken care of dogs of every kind since I was very young. I have relied on me to walked, feed and bathe their pets. I had also trained 2 dogs with some of the sign language as well to teach the animals to sit and stay with the American sign language. My friends and family have relied on me to take their dogs to the dog park, the beach and go on the morning hike. Just really take care of their animals with the love, respect and support for those need my help for them to enjoy their time or a getaway! I'm currently working from home on my own flexible schedule! I do have a lot of time in between working virtually and I can do my job anywhere! So if I take the dogs to the park or go on a walk, I could work on my phone to reply my emails, messages etc. I do have the good balance of taking a break from work to spend the time with the animals to give them my attention and cuddles and go on a walks or adventures! First thing first is to care the animals with respect, love and comfort to be in your home. If I was at your house, I am that person that will follow your wishes and expectations of how you would want me to care for your animals. I do clean up after myself when I am at your house and to keep it tidy clean as you like it to be. I also like to step outside with the dogs/cats to keep my eyes on them or even just being outside with them and play with their toys to give them my joyful attention. I love to have the transparency communication with the owners as well. I will always ask the owner before assuming or trying things out. I love to meet the animals before starting the whole process to feel it out how the energy goes for us and for your animals too. About: I grew up on and farm and I’ve had animals my whole life. I believe animals make the best company. As of right now I only have a grand puppy. I recently lost my mini schnauzer she was 17 so I may be adding a new member to our family soon. I would like to spend sometime with your animals and spoil them. I work full time remotely so I’m flexible during the week. I do travel with my job and many of my weekends are full. I will keep my schedule updated so times are known when I can help. I am willing to watch your dog or cat at your house. I currently have a friendly cat but he doesn’t understand not all dogs love him. If I watch your dog at my house, the dog would need to meet my cat first to make sure they are ok. I do have a fenced in yard.

About: I've had numerous pets throughout my life and they can be a big hassle. But it's always worth it in the end. I hope I can make it a little easier and reassuring for you! I live with only one cat at the moment, which is surprising I don't have more pets. But I do take care of my sister's 2 dogs sometimes. I kinda miss having more pets, but I can't get any at the moment, sadly. So I'm hoping this a good outlet for that. I hope to stop by and help your pet when I can, or give them a good walk. I always think that pets should get a good walk/run in at least once a day, especially if it's an energetic blue heeler or something. And I always enjoy a walk too. About: Animals have been in my life since I was born! I have previously worked with animals in both hospital and shelter settings so I have seen many animals with different personalities! I’ve had experience with dogs of all ages and temperaments and can administer medicine orally and topically. I’ll give your pets so much love and remind them of how cute they are constantly. I work full time Monday-Friday usually from 8am to 5pm. My job is quite flexible though so I’m more than willing to work something out with you! I am big on body language. Animals don’t have a voice to communicate with us so I am always making sure the dog/cat is comfortable and doesn’t feel like their boundaries are being pressed/crossed! We can’t have fun if your pet doesn’t trust me so the first day is usually a lot of positive reinforcement and play to prove I’m a safe person!

Fully fenced in yard to play fetch in and run around I’m currently a stay at home dog dad so they will never be left alone, always ready to take outside and let play with toys. I have a 5 year old Catahoula Hound mix that I adopted from the SPCA! When I house sit he does need to come with me. He has never had issues with other dogs or cats. I am a medical assistant during the week for Bronson and would love to spend time with animals on the weekends or after work playing or going for walks. I make a point to let the animal smell and come to me. It is their environment and they don't know me yet! Once they are comfortable I love to get on the ground and play.

I have two years of experience volunteering at the Kalamazoo Nature Center in animal care so I can even provide care to snakes, salamanders, toads, turtles, raccoons, squirrels, and birds. I am currently attending KCC in Battle Creek and have classes from 1pm - 2:30pm Monday - Thursday. My weekends are typically free but I will of course communicate any schedule conflicts. I follow the owners routine and requests to a t to ensure their fur babies are as comfortable as possible while their parents are away.
