About: Hello! I have taken care of dogs, cats, horses, birds and so much more for over 5 years. I am very hard working and absolutely love taking care of dogs and other animals. I currently own my own company so I am available during the day and evening. I only have to work occasionally in the afternoon on short jobs. I take care of the animals at my clients home. About: My husband and I have always believed in rescuing a dog and we have done so over many years however, We recently lost our beloved Eddie who we rescued from a high kill shelter that was within 2 days of death. Our boy passed suddenly. Our hearts have been empty since last summer. Eddie was a such a great boy. He was known within our neighborhood as a gentle boy. We rescued a boy who needed love and shelter and lots of training. We work from home and have the availability to be able to care for your beloved pet at all hours of the day. We are accommodating to your schedule and theirs. Your beloved pet will not be left alone. We have the time and the room to be able to accommodate your pets needs. Cuddle time, walk time and play time is around the clock for your pet. We are willing to provide pick up services. We live 5-7 minutes from the MKE airport in St Francis We will accommodate your wishes. Diet, outside time and any other regimen that you have for your dog. We know that life can be hectic. As long as you let us know your schedule, we will accommodate your needs and your dogs needs. We will even provide services to pick up your dog. I have a background in fear-free techniques that help me to understand and work with fearful and high-anxiety pets. I have been employed at clinics, mixed practices, and a veterinary referral/emergency hospital. *I carry a pet first aid kit at all times.* My clinical background as a veterinary assistant/receptionist includes animal handling and restraint, administering medications and injections (such as insulin and fluids), caring for hospitalized patients and providing treatments, assisting doctors with diagnostics, and educating/communicating with clients. This experience in both traditional and exotic veterinary medicine translates to exceptional care for all species of companion animals. I am comfortable managing a wide range of medical conditions and administering medications, so you can feel confident about leaving your pet in compassionate, skillful hands. I earned the title “chihuahua whisperer” at work—a true badge of honor! As a dog-mom, I truly enjoy caring for animals. My pet family includes a special-needs tripod Boxer, Raegan, for whom I had a prosthetic leg designed; a long-coated Chihuahua, Joie; and a merle chihuahua, Cookie. My affinity for companion animals began early on. As a child, I would bring home stray dogs and cats, and I kept exotic pets including rabbits, hermit crabs, hamsters, mice, lizards, frogs, and fish. During high school, I received academic credit for interning at a veterinary clinic. As a Yooper (Upper Michigan native), I had the opportunity to work with multiple sled dog teams, which proved to be very enlightening experiences! The most interesting animal-caretaking experience I have had is providing critical care to a newborn alpaca named Mittens and helping the farm owner tube-feed this special-needs baby while she was out of town (he was eventually able to stand on his own and nurse!). A major component of pet caretaking is communication. With a bachelor’s degree in scientific and technical communication from Michigan Tech, I have studied the art and science of communication. I am available to provide services in your home during the day or in the evening. Unfortunately, I am currently unable to accommodate requests for boarding in my home. Safety is paramount: I will ensure your pet's safety while caring for their needs. I also understand the level of trust required to allow a sitter into your home and provide utmost respect for your property and privacy. I would be happy to provide comprehensive companion animal care, including routine caretaking & providing companionship/giving cuddles, administering meds, exercise, and any other aspect of animal care for any species.

And he also helped speak with my parents about Zosia's training needs and offer to support and train, particularly with her leash-pulling. Zosia really liked him and he's really great with animals.
