“Alejandra is INCREDIBLE! We have never had such a positive experience with dog care, including professional boarding/pet hotel places. We were a little worried about finding a good spot for our two larger dogs with lots of energy, and this was perfect - they both came home SO happy and exhausted. She went above and beyond with sending us updates on them so that we could relax on our vacation knowing that they were being loved and taken care of. They got to play all day with other dogs (if they wanted), or just hang out with Alejandra and get some cuddles. I am so so grateful for the wonderful care that our dogs received in her home. Even more important - the dogs LOVE her!!! If I could give her six stars, I would. Our dogs can’t wait to stay with her again!”

Maeve is a WFH graphic designer and Jason is a self-employed carpenter living with our two sweet velcro cavalier king charles spaniels — Cricket & Disco. We have very flexible schedules with lots of love and attention to spare. We can easily break away for walks and drop-ins. We live across from Eagle Lake with a large wraparound fully fenced-in yard overlooking 15 private forested acres with trails for leashed nature walks. We have oodles of experience walking, camping, hiking, swimming, and playing with dogs in all environments and elements. Crates and gates are available if your best friend needs their space, but everybody is allowed to make themselves at home. We have lots of cozy nooks and beds. We work to ensure smooth introductions. Our home is very dog-friendly but to that end, kept very clean. We do tick checks and our girls are always up to date with their vaccinations and preventative meds. JIC, we have reliable transportation and are not far from Michiana Veterinary Hospital. We are also able to drive to your preferred vet.

About: Even though I love dogs, cats will always have my heart. They are amazing and often misunderstood breed. I’ve spent a great deal around them, especially in the summer looking after my aunt’s cat farm with multiple cats with different personalities. With this experience I can confidently say I’m great at reading and interpreting cat behavior. I have also administered meditation to both dogs and cats. I have zero problem cleaning litter boxes and taking care of many cats.

(No apologies for that 🙃) Your pet will be well cared for/spoiled while they visit! I can take two dogs, for the safety of your pet(s) and mine, only if they are from the same household. Love animals and miss fostering I did while in California. Your family member will be in caring hands who has years of experience with puppies and kittens who needed medication. About: I've lived around dogs for most my life, with a range of sizes and needs. From small Pugs who snore the night away to Great Danes who think they are still a puppy. Have a high energy pupper who needs someone to keep up no worries. Currently I work part time until August 19th when I go back to the classroom. I’m doing schooling online and I’m extremely flexible on a day to day basis and on weekends as well. I wake up early and go to sleep early typically so I can adjust to whatever feeding schedule any animal may be on. I have a very large property with woods and lots of room to run around. I live on a road I take daily walks on. I have a large house and a barn outside as well. I’m flexible depending on what your fur baby is most comfortable with. I can offer a lot of exercise, cuddles, they can sleep in a crate if that makes them comfortable or they can sleep out of the crate.
About: Ive taken care of cats and dogs for friends and family since I was young and currently have 5 of my own! Three of which since they were babies and three rescues! I currently work 5 days a week, but my hours vary and can work around whatever you may need! For at stays at my house, my husband is usually home when I am not! I have a fenced yard and plenty of open space inside as well. All of my animals have been socialized their whole lives and love meeting new friends!
About: I’ve always been asked to take care of animals by friends and family. I’ve always been asked to pet sit due to my love for animals and my ability to love them as my own. About: I’ve taken care of my two Labs ever since I was 6 years old, (i’m 21 now) and have been dog sitting and cat sitting the past four summers!! Also I have worked in a vet clinic the past four years as well. I have the special skill of administering medication! I’m currently working part time at the vet clinic in the afternoons and it’s only 2-4 days a week usually. I can dog walk or pet sit in my free time during the day and on weekends. Possibly for a week or so. I unfortunately cannot watch them in my own home due to not having a good yard for them because it has a pool and not much area to run around. And also my dads allergies. I would have to watch them in your home.

“Alejandra is INCREDIBLE! We have never had such a positive experience with dog care, including professional boarding/pet hotel places. We were a little worried about finding a good spot for our two larger dogs with lots of energy, and this was perfect - they both came home SO happy and exhausted. She went above and beyond with sending us updates on them so that we could relax on our vacation knowing that they were being loved and taken care of. They got to play all day with other dogs (if they wanted), or just hang out with Alejandra and get some cuddles. I am so so grateful for the wonderful care that our dogs received in her home. Even more important - the dogs LOVE her!!! If I could give her six stars, I would. Our dogs can’t wait to stay with her again!”

Our Yogi has a tendency to pee on himself vs the ground and they bathed him before pickup. My toddler wouldn’t stop asking us to smell the dog on the way home. Thank you Luke and family! About: Hi there!! I love both dogs and cats, and look forward to taking care of them. I've had many pets growing up. Habló Español también. As of right now I am available and flexible on time as school is out. I have been trying to find a second job, and would much rather prefer this to be my 2nd job as I enjoy going on runs with my dog and hanging out with my furbabies (I also have 2 cats). Why not make money while having fun and meeting new furbabies? I live near downtown Elkhart (heading towards Bristol). I live in a very safe and quiet neighborhood where there is plenty of space to walk, run, and enjoy a large field of grass (if allowed to be off leash).
“Lindsay sent me a few update pictures for my dogs two day stay. she was flexible with pick up as there was an ice storm that slowed down my pick up. She had us do a meet and greet prior to stay to ensure my dog was a good fit. The best part was my hyperactive lab was tired for 3 days following his stay. I definitely will book with Lindsay again!”
