“This was our first time using Rover for one of our dogs so I was a little nervous. Janis sent pictures of our dog every day while we were gone. I felt very comfortable leaving Remy in her care. Our pup seemed happy and well taken care of. I would definitely recommend her to someone and will be reaching out again if we ever need a sitter. Thanks, Janis!”

“I am so happy with Andrew. He has taken great care of my Einstein. It’s not easy sometimes with an 80# puppy with no manners!! I will definitely use him again.”

About: I have three pets (two dogs and a kitten). I have had my dogs since they were puppies and trained both. They are basic and advanced command trained, crate trained, and potty trained. My sister successfully captured a stray kitten and after getting him fully vetted he is now our indoor cat who has been successfully litter trained. I have babysat many of my neighbors dogs and love walking my two dogs. I know how to deliver medicine to pets and feel comfortable caring for older pets. I'm currently working part time so I have a flexible schedule! I am available most weekends and during the week. I start a hybrid college course in January. When I visit your home I ensure to leave things the way I found them (hang up leashed/put toys away) and I am happy to meet a home before care for instructions.

About: I’ve been a cat person my whole life and now have 2 of my own, who keep me entertained and on my toes! One of them has had some health issues in the past, so I’m no stranger to extra care and TLC, but she is thriving now. I love getting to know new cats and making sure they feel safe, happy, and spoiled while you are away

About: I grew up on a farm and we always had over 20 cats. I currently have 3 and love them dearly. We have a ragdoll and he is so loving. The picture on my profile is him. He loves to be carried around like a baby. I will take car of you cat as my own.
“Kelly was so sweet and so good with our dog. She watched him for a couple drop ins last minute after our sitter cancelled. She was always either on time or early, stayed later than expected to, sent great pictures and gave us updates! I highly recommend Kelly!”
“Chelsea dropped in daily to check on our cat while we were out of town. She quickly made friends with our cat and gave her plenty of love! Chelsea provided extensive updates and photos/videos, and was an excellent communicator, putting us at ease. We'll definitely reach out to her next time!”

“Absolutely perfect! Communication was amazing, she recognized health symptoms and brought them to my attention, it made our time away from home so much more relaxing knowing the cats were being taken care of so well. We will for sure be repeat clients, thank you thank you thank you!”

About: I haven’t met a dog I didn’t LOVE! With every unique personality and quirks, dogs have always held a very special place in my heart as companions, hard workers, and adventure buddies. Patience and understanding are a virtue when I introduce myself to a new dog. I am a persistent, positive reinforcement driven owner who loves to have lots of fun! I would absolutely enjoy getting to know your dog and creating a special bond. I offer basic commands training, puppy training, and special needs help (one of my two dogs is blind and deaf), along with administering any medications needed. I own and operate a restaurant Wednesday afternoon through Sunday night, so my schedule is heavily leaning towards Monday and Tuesday all day availability. I am also available in the mornings every day until about 2pm. I’m a routine person, we go potty every morning around 8:30-9am, have breakfast, and go outside again for another potty. Depending on the weather, Koda and I usually go for our walk around 12pm, lasting about 30-45 minutes (unless we are hiking a nature trail). Upon return it’s time for another potty break, then a few times more every 3-4 hours until it’s time for bed. In between those breaks are lots of playing inside and outdoors with toys and training with treats or cooked meats. I have a degree in wildlife biology, and focus on bird watching. This makes me very apt to sudden changes in the environment around me. I am quick to respond, and think critically on a whim to act on which is the best and safest approach to handle a situation. In the event that is beyond my control I would contact the owner (and possibly a veterinarian) immediately and let them know that I would like to take their dog to receive professional attention. Your pet comes first and I always make sure that our walks and training sessions are positive, exciting, and safe. While I seem energetic, I also have a relaxed disposition that is quite necessary when meeting a dog for the first time. They want to know that you are a safe and comfortable human that won’t harm or agitate them. I get down on their level, offer a hand out to encourage them to interact with me first, and then reward with a treat or toy. This is usually effective with repetition, but I understand that every dog is different. Trust is earned and I am persistent!

“Jeremiah did a great job pet sitting my feline pets. He kept us informed with messages and pictures and their look of happy and contentment told me they were well taken care of. Upon pickup he had everything set up and ready to go for a smooth transition. Jeremiah will be my go-to Sitter for my next trip.”
About: I've taken care of furry critters my whole life. My neighbors, family, and friends always know they can rely on me. Have trained many dogs/puppies the basics and even how to rollover. I'm currently working part-time, so I have plenty of time for taking special care of your furry friend. Whether that be an extensive diet, strict schedule, or just special care. I always make sure my animals are living their best life and would do the same for yours. I have a big fenced in yard the dogs love to interact with one another in and play. The cats aren't excluded either, mine are living their purrfect life as well.
About: I have been surrounded by animals my whole life, and through those years they interest me more and more. I had/have multiple cats and dogs, and the connection with them has been something I couldn’t imagine not experiencing. Plus, the knowledge I have gained from being around familiar animals makes me feel I would love experiencing new things with other pets, and get to know their unique personalities. With that being said, I am open to almost any training/service necessary for your dog(s) or cat(s) needs and would love to get to know your fuzzy family! I’ve just started school, and my classes are every weekday from 5:30 pm to 10 pm, just so you’re aware if that contradicts any booking requirements you need. I have my own pets to take care of, but other than that I don’t have consistent routines that would get in the way of the times and dates I’m available. For drop-ins, I will do feedings, outdoor/potty time, and get to know your pet(s). If there’s any questions or other service not noted that you’d like to ask I can do, I would be happy to answer. Walks- I do at least 15 minute walks, and up to 90 minute walks. More characterized questions, such as walking area or what certain necessities your pet(s) needs can be discussed once I have contact/a schedule with you.
About: I’ve been taking care of animals since I was a child. I have experience walking others dogs for the past ten years. I work well with both dogs and cats and haven’t met one that didn’t like me yet. I have experience administering certain medications. I currently work full time in retail. I’m consistently off and available for 24 hour care on fridays. Throughout the week I’m flexible and able to do walks and drop in before and after work. Housesitting during the week is not a problem. I will provide any kind of care I’m instructed to give. I will treat your pets as if they were my own. Shy pets are not a problem either!
About: Dogs have been a part of my life from an early age. I participated in many dog related 4-H programs growing up and raised a guiding eye puppy as a teen. I have completed obedience training and agility training with my own dogs. I love to meet new dogs and share in the joy and love that they bring to the world. I currently have flexibility in my schedule. I do have to care for my own dog (Nina), but we can work around her schedule and needs. I have a big yard with walking paths in the back that are provide lots of opportunities for sniffing and potty breaks. We will be getting a fence in the near future.

“Buddy has been to visit Emily and Ryan twice now and I couldn’t be happier! Each time he comes home and is soooo tired from playing all day. I feel confident when Buddy is there that he is being taken care of and loved like he is at home. Thanks guys for all you do!”

“The dogs went with Jeremiah happily and settled in well with him. He was flexible about when we dropped them off and when we picked them up, which was very helpful. His farm is a great environment for the dogs. We will definitely use his services again! He was great with them.”

“Andrew and his dog, James, are great! LiLi went over for the day yesterday and when James dropped her off back home, at the end of the day, she stood by the door until she was sure he wasn’t outside anymore. I love knowing she’s happy when I’m at work!”

“Olivia is very sweet, I took my dog, Zoe,2 to her for daycare while we were on vacation. Zoe is a little timid around children and needs a fenced yard so this was a good fit for her. I was able to enjoy my vacation because I knew my baby was very well cared for.”

“Calm energy, easy to work with, and super accommodating. I was nervous my dog would show signs of separation anxiety or show dominance with other dogs prior to daycare. Brianne's presence was so welcoming that my dog was happy to be there. She was also able to orchestrate a soft introduction to 2 other dogs boarding with her and my dog actually did really well. So grateful! Thanks Brianne!”

“Great day - our pup came home tired and happy. Appreciated the communication about other dogs who would be there. Looking forward to using Summer for our weekend boarding needs!”

“Our dog Molly loved playing all day in the large fenced-in back yard. Michaelynn took great care of our youngest "child" so we could attend a wedding nearby. We would recommend this dog sitter completely without hesitation.”

“Lucy is so friendly and professional. Bella had a wonderful day and it was obvious by how tired she was upon returning home. I love the fact she had a great time socializing with other dogs. Thanks, Lucy!”

About: I’ve raised dogs, cats & goats since I was old enough to hold a leash! From bottle feeding kittens to training goats to do tricks, dogs feel like a breeze. For the last 6 years, I’ve taken care of family & friend’s dogs. My husband & I have a 80lb golden doodle (who is transitioning into his elder stage of life) so I understand the importance of daily walks, play dates, and proper grooming. I vow to apply the same care for your pet! I’m currently a server, so I work less than 30 hours a week & mainly evenings! This leaves me plenty of time to pet-sit or walk during the day, especially on my days off. I have a fenced in back yard, a park within a 3 minute walking distance, and an incredibly friendly golden doodle. He loves to play fetch and tug. We take our dog on daily walks, weekly baths, and administer the proper vitamins and ear care as he transitions into being an elder dog. It’s important that I translate these same practices to clients animals!

About: i have pet sat for years and i decided to turn it into a career i enjoy spending time will all animals and really getting to know each one’s personality i try to be as flexible as possible so i can be relied on at all times. pet sitting is my primary and i put that first 100% of the time :) i make sure to spend all my time with them to develop a relationship between myself and the pet. i try to do extra fun things with them, like play tug of war with their favorite toy or if they like more cuddles i provide extra snuggles. i don’t mind commuting to another home where the animal is more comfortable. if they want a walk i will take them on a long walk to the dog park and play ball with them. whatever they need i will put first!
About: I have had dogs all my life, most of which were rescued. I also took a class from victoria stillwell on her website designed to teach you how to understand your dog. I adore all dogs and love to learn their different personalities. I never back away from a challenging behavior because I know alot of dogs have experienced trauma just like alot of people. I work full and my schedule can change week to week but my boss try's to keep it consistent. I typically work 7-6 monday through Wednesday 8-4 on Friday's. Anytime this changes I will immediately contact you and work something else out if it conflicts with specific requested times (such as dog walking). I walk my husky each morning before work regardless of what time I go in so you can be sure I will MAKE the time if I have to. :) I will follow any and all rules/schedules you have for your dog. I will also assist with training if asked. If I am house sitting I will do my utmost to keep the house and its schedule the same as you do when you are home. I am happy to train, play, or just hang out with your doggy pal.
About: I have always enjoyed spending my time with animals. I got my first dog when I was in elementary school - sadly he recently passed away - but since coming to college I have been missing my sweet fur baby. Being able to play with and care for someone else's pet while also earning extra cash would be an ideal job experience for me. Getting a new pet really isn’t an option for me right now. With all the free time on my hands, and I would love to get the chance to spend it walking and playing with your fur babies! In the past, I have dog sat for other friends and family and I really enjoyed it and having the extra company is always a plus!
About: I had dogs as I was growing up and have many friends with dogs or cats now. I have gone on walks and runs with dogs and given them baths. I am very flexible and can give walks throughout the day. I do not need too much notice before taking animals for walks just basic information about what they are like and what they need. I take care of pets with lots of respect and will always clean up after them no matter what situation they get into. I give them the attention they deserve and love they need.
About: With many years of experience I am highly qualified to care for your pet. Growing up I started a neighborhood pet care business where I would watch my neighbors pets when they were on vacation. This quickly grew and I started letting out neighborhood dogs after school when their parents would get home late. I also grew up with 2 Labradors retrievers and a Corgi. Due to my ever changing schedule I’m not able to commit to adopting a dog at this time so I’ve come to Rover to help the community and get my fill of animal therapy. Currently I am working from home with a part time schedule. A lot of my work can be done at any time. This leaves me ample time to care for your pet. I have a building just outside of downtown that has a large area in the back. There is a park that is around the corner and plenty of sidewalks for walks. Inside my home there are hardwood floors with area rugs. I am a very neat and organized person so there is nothing your pet will be able to get into.

“Hanna and her family made Charlie feel right at home! They accepted his stinky shoe fetish and his desire for hands constantly petting with absolute open arms (his favorite). Her two fur babies welcomed him and left him absolutely exhausted and maybe a little depressed that there’s no one to play with in his own backyard. We will definitely be rebooking again! Thank you!”

“I am so happy with Andrew. He has taken great care of my Einstein. It’s not easy sometimes with an 80# puppy with no manners!! I will definitely use him again.”

“She made him very comfortable and at home. He was able to play and roam in the house and outside, with her well behaved dogs. I was very pleased with his care and plan on having Kathy watch him in the future.”

He was a bit anxious at her house the first night, and she changed his surroundings and got him settled down for the 2nd night. I appreciate her watching our anxious boy!”

“Thanks so much, Emily & Ryan! We appreciated all the picture updates, and Calvin obviously had a wonderful time. You guys were always quick to respond, helpful, and flexible. We hope to book again in future.”

“Chris was Fabulous!! Last minute needed pup care fora long day. We took the pups to Chris's house... he shared their day with us via pictures through out the day. Picked up some tired pups that slept all thru the night. Would absolutely use Chris again.”

“Kimberlee took the best care of our two dogs!! We received pictures and updates every day and they seemed so happy and loved! I am definitely going to rely on Kimberlee again to watch them when we go out of town!!”

“This was my second time booking with Leandra and mark. They took such good care of my dog Berry. Leandra keeps you updated and responds back fast. They will forever be who I trust my baby with!”

“Macy’s stay with Mary was a great experience! When we arrived, Mary & Marty, her husband, were organized and well prepared. Communication was speedy & I received numerous pictures. Highly recommend Mary!”

“Lilliana was great and accommodated our change in schedule. Communication was fantastic from start to finish. She also took care of my pet's special needs..it was truly a pleasure to have Peachy in her care.”

“I’m grateful we found Kevin for our Bodie. He sent updates and Bodie was having a blast with his dogs and in the backyard. I doubt our dog knew we were gone for the weekend.”

“This was the first time I left my puppy. Even though I texted to check on him way more than I should have Nicholas never got upset and kept me updated with videos and answered whatever questions I had. Beaux was with him four nights. I would use him again and definitely recommend”

About: Animals have always been a huge part of my life, and caring for them comes naturally to me. I’ve worked with playful puppies, independent cats, and senior pets who need extra patience and attention. I love getting to know each pet’s personality—whether that means long walks, playtime, or quiet cuddles—and making sure they feel safe, comfortable, and loved while you’re away. My goal is to make your pet feel like they’re with a friend, not just a sitter. Pet care is already part of my daily routine because I care for my own cat every day, from feeding and cleaning the litter box to playtime and making sure she feels loved and comfortable. Having my own pet has made me attentive to routines, behavior changes, and the small details that help animals feel safe and cared for. I also love spending time with dogs, whether that’s going on walks, playing, or giving them the attention and exercise they need. Caring for pets fits naturally into my routine because it’s something I genuinely enjoy and make time for every day. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I focus on keeping their routine as normal and comfortable as possible. I follow feeding schedules, provide fresh water, clean up after them, and make sure they get the playtime, walks, or quiet companionship they need. I believe pets feel most secure in their own home because it’s their safe space, surrounded by familiar smells and routines. Being able to care for them in that environment helps build trust and creates a stronger, more positive relationship, making the experience less stressful for both the pet and the owner.
