About: Dogs have been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. I currently have three dogs, all of whom I brought home at eight weeks old and personally raised and trained. Caring for dogs isn’t just something I enjoy—it’s a lifelong passion. I have experience with dogs of all sizes, breeds, ages, and temperaments, from Chihuahuas to Pit Bulls to Alaskan Malamutes and everything in between. Over the years, I have provided pet care for neighbors, friends, colleagues, and clients, and I understand the importance of treating every dog with patience, kindness, and individualized care. While working as a home health care aide, I was often entrusted with caring for my clients’ pets, ensuring they were fed, exercised, and comfortable while their owners received care. I also volunteered as a dog walker with the Humane Society of West Michigan, where I gained experience working with dogs of varying personalities, energy levels, and behavioral needs. I am comfortable administering medications, following detailed feeding plans and dietary restrictions, and adapting to each dog’s unique routine. I am also certified in Dog and Cat First Aid and CPR, giving pet owners added peace of mind that their companions are in capable hands. Whether your dog enjoys long walks, active playtime, or simply spending time with someone who genuinely loves dogs, I am committed to providing safe, dependable, and compassionate care while you’re away. As a devoted dog owner of three, caring for animals is an integral part of my daily life, and I extend that same level of attention, responsibility, and affection to every pet in my care. I am fully comfortable handling all aspects of daily dog care, including feeding, walking, potty breaks, enrichment, and playtime. My flexible schedule allows me to be home for most of the day throughout the week, as well as on weekends, providing consistent supervision and companionship. I also have the option to work from home when additional attention or frequent potty breaks are needed. In my household, pets are rarely left alone for extended periods. On typical days when I am away from home, my dogs are alone no longer than 5–6 hours. In many cases, my boyfriend may be home when I am not, and when both of us are working, we are generally away for no more than 4–5 hours at a time. If both of us are expected to be away for longer than two hours during a pet’s care period, I communicate this in advance to ensure transparency and appropriate planning. I maintain a consistent but flexible routine that prioritizes feeding, hydration, exercise, and enrichment. Dogs always have access to fresh water and are fed twice daily (or as often as your individual dog requires). Potty breaks are provided frequently based on each dog’s individual needs and cues; however, I am more than willing to follow a more structured schedule if that is what your pet is accustomed to. I am also experienced with administering medications, including monthly heartworm and flea prevention, and take great care to ensure all medications are given accurately and on time. While my household follows a generally relaxed routine, I understand that many pets thrive on structure. I am fully comfortable adhering to detailed instructions and incorporating established routines into my daily care. During the days I am available according to my Rover schedule, I am home for the majority of the day. Any brief absences are typically limited to short appointments, during which my boyfriend may assist with supervision, or pets will be safely confined if appropriate. Above all, I prioritize safety, supervision, and communication. Your pet will never be left without attentive care. Whether in my home or yours, I ensure consistent supervision, engagement, and affection so that every animal feels secure, comfortable, and well cared for throughout their time with me. Your pet’s safety, comfort, and happiness are my highest priorities. I share my home with three friendly dogs, each with their own unique personality: an energetic and affectionate Boston Terrier, a more reserved but sweet Boston Terrier, and a laid-back Chihuahua who enjoys staying close by. They are well-socialized and can provide companionship for visiting dogs when appropriate. My home is set up to accommodate a variety of needs and routines. I have three individual crates with comfortable bedding available for dogs who are crate trained or require confinement, and you are always welcome to bring your own crate if it helps your pet feel more at home. While my own dogs enjoy free access to the house and are allowed on the furniture, I am happy to follow your pet’s established rules and routines, including using gates or designated areas if needed. Although my yard is not physically fenced, safety is always a top priority. My dogs are never outdoors unsupervised, and the same standard of care applies to every pet I watch. I have a large, open yard that provides plenty of space for exercise, and I regularly walk dogs on a leash around the property and in the neighborhood. If your dog is most comfortable on a leash or tie-out while outside, I am more than happy to accommodate those preferences. All of my dogs are current on their vaccinations and receive routine veterinary care. I pay close attention to changes in their health, behavior, and overall well-being, and I bring that same level of attentiveness to every pet in my care. If I am caring for your pet in your home, I will treat both your home and your companion with the utmost respect. I carefully follow all instructions regarding feeding, medications, exercise, training, household rules, and daily routines to ensure your pet experiences as little disruption as possible while you are away. At bedtime, I am happy to follow whatever sleeping arrangement your pet is accustomed to, whether that means sleeping in a crate, on their own bed, or sharing a room with me. My goal is to maintain their normal routine so they feel secure and comfortable. My boyfriend and I live together, but I will be your pet’s primary caregiver. He may occasionally assist if I need to step away briefly, providing additional supervision and support, but all communication and primary care responsibilities remain with me. For added peace of mind, I am certified in Dog and Cat First Aid and CPR. You can trust that your pet will receive attentive, compassionate, and responsible care throughout their stay.

About: Hi there! My name is Sage, and I’m passionate about caring for pets of all ages and needs. I have hands-on experience giving pills, shots, and other medications, as well as caring for both senior cats who need a little extra patience and love, and playful kittens and puppies. I’ve also helped with potty training for puppies and understand the unique attention that both young and elderly pets require. At home, I’m the proud owner of two cats who keep me on my toes and remind me every day why I love animals so much. About: I have taken care of a few puppies and helped them grow up, stay clean, stay fed and watered, and most importantly stayed entertained. A well entertained puppy/dog stays out of trouble. I currently don't have job so I can be available almost any time of the day. I tend to be a night owl so I can stay as late as need. Your pups will be taken out one at a time (if you have 2 or more), will be exercising and walked, I will follow your feeding schedule and amount per meal, and I am give meds if they are dosed beforehand.

About: I grew up catsitting my neighbor's kitties, playing, feeding, and changing litter while friends were away. I have one cat of my own, and live with my parents who have 2 barn kitties. I am experienced caring for kittens and older cats as well as cats who are super shy. I will follow your cat's lead so they can be comfortable with me in their space. I know how different cat sitting can be to dog sitting, since cats take longer to warm up to new people and environments, I won't rush them :)
“Erica was FANTASTIC! I needed a last minute sitter after a cancellation and she was wonderful. As someone in rescue, I can see how she is respectful and knew animals. Erica was awesome with my kitty, Chunky! I recommend Erica if you need someone!!!”

“If this app had 1000 stars it wouldn’t be enough with my crazy work schedule , this couple is the greatest . I so much appreciate them being able to walk Gail while I’m working this nightshift .”

About: I am not your typical pet-sitter. I have spent my entire life caring for all types of animals. My first job was at a pet store learning the skills of working with animals and their people. After college I worked as a zookeeper where I cared for everything from mealworms all the way to rhinos. Specialized care was the name of the game there and I was able to recognize the smallest details on how to improve my work with exotics. Then I was led into the world of shelter work. Where I studied pet behavior and early signs of stress and how enrichment can help save lives. Many animals coming into the shelter would need some form of medication as well. I have a skillset of administering medications and making sure the animals actually receive their meds. Lastly, I was a dog training apprentice. I was able to form bonds with dogs that most people wouldn't come near. I can read body language well and know how to show dogs respect. I aim to be your go-to pet-sitter where you can actually enjoy your trip. I will make your pet my priority. I have an excellent ability to find balance in my schedule. You can trust that your pet is cared for how you want them to be. I have quite a few pets in my home and all are well cared for. I will offer the same care to the animals you care for. I will ask for detailed instructions and follow your schedule as closely as I can.

We have 2 big friendly dogs at the house with a large fenced in yard. I am a stay at home mom at the moment giving me good amount of time to play and walk with the animals.

About: I have 4 years experience in a pet store, I have a Veterinary Assistant certification from CMU, and am currently in college to get my Veterinary Technician license. I also have 10+ years of taking care of my childhood dogs and now the dog I have currently. Currently my schedule is wide open! Just looking for a side job as I continue my college work. My availability is currently open for any day or time! Currently because of my dog at home I do not offer any services at my residence, but I am confident in my knowledge about how to take care of your pet inside your home!
About: I have been caring for a wide variety of animals my whole life, from cats to horses to dogs of all sizes! Large breeds are my specialty, as I have grown up around Great Danes, Saint Bernards, and Newfoundlands my entire life, and feel very comfortable handling them. I have cared for many senior and small breed dogs as well, so your pets will receive the upmost care no matter the age or size! I love working with as many unique personalities and animals as I possibly can, and will work tirelessly to make sure they receive the care they need. My schedule is often very open, especially during the summer when classes are out, so I will communicate well to work around YOUR schedule! I will do what it takes to get your pets the care they need when they need it. Safety is priority number one when it comes to caring for pets, for both me and the animals. I am sure to follow whatever instructions are given to me to the strictest degree so you don't have to worry about your pets safety while you're away. When going for walks I always maintain firm a firm hold on the leash, even with bigger dogs. I have been walking with large breeds such as Saint Bernards and Great Danes for over a decade, so I feel very comfortable remaining in control. I always carry pepper spray with me as well, just as an absolute last resort in the very rare chance that anything would happen.

About: I have dogsat for friends and family since I was a kid, I worked at a doggy daycare (Paws In The City) in highschool. My family has raised 2 litters of golden retrievers, so I am familiar with how to train and housebreak puppies from a young age. I live with 2 dogs and 3 cats, all with very different energy levels and personalities, I will adjust to your pet's unique needs and routines! I am a student at CMU, so during the semester I will be gone during the morning for classes. I stop by to check on pets during lunch time, and then head back to campus. On weekends I can stay with them the whole day, taking dogs on a hike if the weather is nice, or staying in and playing on my study breaks. I have a pretty open schedule, so I will have a lot of time to spare for pet care. I am willing to stay with your pets overnight if you need, or just stop by regularly throughout the day. I will follow your instructions, and make sure your pets stay fed, safe, and happy while you are gone! I have a lot of hiking trails I want to explore, if you are comfortable with me taking your pup on a fieldtrip. If not, I am happy to walk in your neighborhood and stay closer to home.

About: I have always had dogs and cats in my life, from training my own dogs to dog/cat sitting for family and friends, I have more experience with big dog breeds rather than little but I am comfortable in my ability to care for all types of dogs and cats. My family has raised puppies multiple times and I have assisted in caring for and training them. I am currently working at dr pol veterinary services, I work Monday and Fridays:8-6, Tuesday and Thursday I work 8-5, and I occasionally work Saturdays from 8:30-12. I am completely free on Wednesdays and Sundays and I’m free in the evenings on the days I work. Currently I am unable to bring other people’s pets into my home because we have three large dogs that aren’t the best when it comes to other animals, but me and my boyfriend are working on renovating a polebarn into a apartment for me and him and we plan on completly fencing the area in for when we eventually get dogs of our own.

“Brittany was prompt and reliable. She did not seem at all turned off by my two dogs’ energy level and ‘enthusiasm’ (including jumping) when she met them. I believe she did a great job exercising them. They seemed relaxed and settled when I returned home. I appreciated how well she kept in contact and the pictures she sent!”

About: Ever since being a young little girl, I have cared for dogs and they have a special place in my heart. I grew up with a yellow lab and took great care of her. As an adult I am the go-to pet sitter for my family and friends. I have watched small family farm taking care of goats, horses, dogs, and outdoor cats too. I have more experience with mid to older dogs than puppies, but I have also helped take care of puppies too. I am currently searching for a full-time position; therefore, I have flexibility for during the day for potty breaks or walks, evening care, and overnight stay at your house. I am unfortunately renting currently and have a no pet policy so I cannot board at this time. Your pet is to be treated like my own. I follow the owners lead but I love playtime, indoor or outdoor, walks by leash and harness, and cuddles and loves. I only give treats if that is what the household wants. I wish to keep the routine as similar to what the animal is used to.
About: I have had animals for my entire life. I currently am already taking care of horses, cattle, dogs, chickens, birds, monkeys, fish, alpacas and cats. I am more than willing to come to your house or host in my home also. Long or short periods. Animals are the best and I'd love to help take care of yours also! I am home 90% of the day so am open 7 days a week anytime. Rather your pets needs are big or small I have time for it all. I have a dog cable and large yard. Pets are welcome with or without cages. Will be loved and cared for just as if they are mine.
About: Dogs have always been involved in my life. I’ll help in you out in anyway I can. About: I have been caring for animals my entire life, with experience ranging from dogs, cats, and rabbits to ferrets, birds, hamsters, and all kinds of farm animals. I also grew up maintaining a 400-gallon fish tank that included a wide variety of fish and even small freshwater sharks, giving me a strong understanding of aquatic care. I genuinely love animals of all kinds and enjoy getting to know their individual personalities, routines, and needs. I believe every pet is unique, and I take the time to make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and cared for. I have raised two very active 100+ lb German Shepherd/Lab mixes since they were puppies, so I am confident handling large, high-energy dogs. Despite my size, I am fully capable of managing and guiding strong animals safely and effectively. I am happy to assist with all aspects of pet care, including long walks, feeding, bathing, playtime, and providing plenty of attention and affection. I am also comfortable caring for pets of all ages and administering medications when needed (with prior instructions). Additionally, I have long-term experience(10+ years) caring for a Bengal cat with Feline Lower Urinary Tract Disease (FLUTD), which has given me hands-on experience with specialized care and medication routines. I am currently a student at Central Michigan University and work part-time with a flexible schedule, allowing me to dedicate plenty of time and attention to your pets. I am available for both daytime visits and overnight stays in your home. I strongly believe pets are most comfortable in their familiar environment, and I strive to maintain their routine while providing consistent care and companionship. I am always happy to provide extra references or additional information to help you feel confident and comfortable. I also maintain a respectful, non-judgmental approach to every home and will always leave your space in the same condition as when I arrived. So never be afraid of how your space might look!

About: A lifelong animal lover, I enjoy romping through the woods with dogs, as well as sharing their company by a burning fire. I'm a freelance writer working from my home, so your hound has a constant companion in my care. The walks help me think while letting the dog burn off some energy. I'm also willing to travel to let your best friend out on a day-to-day basis, or overnights as necessary. Your cat, should he or she stay overnight, would receive lots of attention from two teenagers and a first-grader (even if the cat is indifferent to it). Our dogs have always been part of our family, and we'll treat your pet like one of our own. We look forward to meeting you and yours.
About: I have two fur babies of my own. One being a Female Corgi with a heart murmur, and one being a Pitbull greyhound mix. I’m in school for Veterinary technology, so my love for animals is also backed up by a future degree! I have a flexible schedule as well! I pay close attention to details, and love the outdoors! I have a very flexible schedule! I’m almost positive unless I have extra clients booked I’ll be free to watch your fur baby! Please reach out and we can discuss your pet care needs! I care for all dogs like they are my own! Ensuring their safety, health, and happiness. I have a private area of my home where your dog could hangout while boarding with me! Or, if they are pet friendly I would love to have them join my girls while they stay! While I’m your home, I will follow all your daily routines with your pup, and on walks I will allow them to explore and sniff freely!

“Rio had a wonderful time. He came home happy and worn out! I am so thankful for Christin’s calm and loving care. She is a true dog whisperer! I love getting photos and all the play Rio gets to have there with other dogs.”

“Would highly recommend, they treated Henry like their own. He was happy to see us when we returned but we’re sure he misses being spoiled to the max!! We will definitely rebook when we need a dog sitter in the future! Thanks for loving Henry!”
About: Denim Sheperd Dog Care is looking to provide you with excellent dog services at an affordable price. With a huge backyard for running and indoor dog spaces for play, your dog is guaranteed to have a great time! We are a house of dog lovers plus 3 pups of our own, with 2 cousin pups staying with us! Our pack leader Austin has been an amateur mush dog trainer for two years with plans to compete in 2026. He is great with dogs of all sizes and has a heart for all breeds. What got him into dog training for others was E-collar training 2 of our dogs himself after having our husky trained professionally. This gave us the freedom to adventure with our pups the way we longed to. We have been doing basic grooming for our labradoodle for 3 years, nail trimming all of our dogs' nails for 5 years, and bathing them for nearly 7 so your dogs will be in loving hands if they are in need of some pampering! I'm currently a full-time at home parent and dog dad. My schedule is flexible with advance notice, but for our daily schedule I do biking with my husky, playtime in the back yard, and the pups nap or have hangout time in the dog den! I have a garage for grooming and introductions, then two gates used to separate the dog areas from the rest of the house. Within the dog area is a finished basement and den if dogs need to be separated. At this time, I have 2 crates of different sizes for use if needed or desired. The backyard is fully fenced and great for runners to get out excess energy.
“Katelyn, I want to thank you for watching Tank for a couple of days over Thanksgiving. I traveled to Michigan from out of State and I normally have much difficulty finding anyone on Rover to watch my dog because most people don’t like to watch large breed dogs. You were willing to watch him on a holiday and you were also excited for the opportunity for him to stay in your home for a couple of days. I’m especially thankful that you spoiled my dog rotten and loved my dog as if he was yours. I could tell once I picked my dog up he was extremely happy with his stay at your house. Hopefully when I travel back to Michigan I can have Katelyn watch over my dog again.”

About: What sets me apart as a sitter is my hands-on experience and deep, personal connection with dogs of all ages. With over three years of experience, I’ve been trusted by clients and family alike to care for their pets—whether it’s energetic puppies needing structure and training, or senior dogs who require patience and gentle attention. I follow all instructions carefully, keep the space clean (including litter boxes, food areas, and floors), and always make sure pets feel loved, secure, and well-cared-for while you’re away.
