“Angela was great! She responded quickly to messages, sent daily updates with pictures, and our dog had a wonderful time running around with her dog. He came back a tired and happy pup. I would recommend!”

“Rachel and her family took amazing car of our dog Skywalker - Skye had a wonderful time hanging with Rachel's dog, playing in their backyard and going on walks. Rachel sent updates and photos everyday and was super communicative. We are so glad Skywalker could spend time with her!”

“Amazing people. Amazing family. My dog has major separation anxiety and they made her feel so comfortable. She was with them for 3.5 days and Kimberly & Jeremy sent updates and photos everyday which eased my worry mind. I thought they would text me and say come pick her up because she's too anxious, but no, she would just inform me that my dog is playing with toys, cuddling with her daughter, running around with their three other amazing little dogs and just settling down. You know they're good people when you feel bad for picking your dog up because they probably had more fun with them. 101% would recommend!”

“Marg was wonderful with our very high demand puppy. She provided lots of pupdates and gave him so many fun opportunities to get his energy out on special adventure walks. I would recommend Marg to anyone.”

“Allison did a wonderful job taking care of our dog, Lucy. She and Dave have a large fenced-in yard and took Lucy on several walks. She was excellent at communicating, including sending photos and videos. Will definitely hVd her board Lucy again!”

“My boys had a very relaxing weekend with Lisa and her husband. The fact that they don't have dogs or cats meant each of my boys got a lot of attention. I think they would've like to have stayed FOREVER, unfortunately for them, we did have to take them home.”

“Stephanie and Scott took very good care of my dog who took a liking to both of them. I had several pictures about Lucy’s visit and was very pleased to see her say thanks when we left. Highly recommended.”

“Lisa is the bees knees!!! She was so communicative and accommodating. I was nervous but in a pinch and needed to put my trust in someone to watch a very special member of my family. She exceeded any and all expectations I could have had. She was personable and friendly to me too. What an absolute pleasure. Thank you Lisa!!!!!”

“Caroline was great with communicating. We were greatly appreciative of her welcoming Bentley to stay last minute, seeing our other boarder had to back out due to a family emergency. Bentley seemed to enjoy his time there. He had one behavior problem that was very unusual for him, but Caroline was open and honest about what happened. I wouldn't hesitate to leave Bentley with her again.”

“Amanda is incredible! We truly have never experienced someone as thoughtful, comprehensive and loving as Amanda. We got sent lots of updates and photos. We know our dog Sadie felt comfortable, loved and happy. We highly recommend Amanda and we will definitely be booking with her again! ❤️”

Currently, we have a 2-yr old Bernese mountain dog and an older cat at home. I’m a teacher with a very open availability during summer and would love to fill it with taking care of your dogs - any breed but happy to provide confidence for high energy larger breeds. I’m a full-time teacher, so if you’re booking during the summer my availability is pretty widely open to meet your pets needs. If it’s during the school year, the weekends are there for loving your pet. I love to walk and exercise and am happy to take your dog for long walks as needed. Alternatively if they’re at my house, they can play with our Bernese Mountain Dog in the backyard for endless hours! Our yard is fenced in and the gates are always locked.

“We hired Brooklyn for 2 days of doggy daycare as we were camping in the area and wanted to do some long distance trails that our senior pup can no longer manage. Brooklyn was quick to communicate and was extremely responsive from the moment we inquired about her watching our dog. She did a wonderful job, sent us photos and when we picked up our dog she was busy playing with Brooklyn that she didn't even want to come home with us. Brooklyn was great and we appreciate her helping us out so we could enjoy all the wonderful trails in the area. If Brooklyn is still in the area when we come to the area next year I will make sure to check with Brooklyn first to see if she's available for watching our dog!”

About: ’ve had hands-on experience caring for animals for many years. Since around age 12, I’ve regularly helped care for pets belonging to friends, family, and neighbors. During that time I’ve provided feeding, walking, bathing, pet sitting, playtime, and general daily care. I also have experience helping with basic training and working with dogs who were preparing for adoption, which helped me learn how to work with different personalities, energy levels, and comfort needs. Most recently, I’ve been volunteering at a local animal shelter for over 4 months. In this role, I assist with a variety of responsibilities including walking dogs, bathing, playtime and enrichment, administering medications when needed, transporting animals, and helping with overall animal care at the shelter. Working with animals in both home and shelter environments has given me experience with pets of different temperaments, and I always focus on making sure they feel safe, comfortable, and well cared for. I truly enjoy spending time with animals and making sure they feel safe, happy, and loved while their owners are away. I treat every pet as if they were my own and always do my best to provide reliable, attentive care. If you’re looking for someone dependable who genuinely cares about animals, I’d love the opportunity to meet you and your pet! I’m currently in an on call sort of situation, so my schedule is very flexible! I ask that we at least get a few days advance notice due to a fluctuating schedule. Your pet’s safety and comfort are always my top priorities. I take the time to learn each pet’s routine, personality, and any special needs so I can provide care that feels familiar and stress-free for them. Through my experience caring for pets and volunteering at a local animal shelter, I’ve worked with animals of many different temperaments and understand the importance of patience, awareness, and safe handling. I always make sure pets are secure on walks, monitored during playtime, and given plenty of attention and care. I’m also happy to follow any specific instructions you have for feeding, medications, routines, or training. I believe communication is very important, so I’m glad to send updates and photos so you can feel confident that your pet is happy and well cared for while you’re away.

“I put in a last-minute request for a walk, and Charles responded right away. He was prompt and polite, and it was immediately obvious that Charles is experienced with dogs. He has a gentle manner and way of speaking - my dogs took to him immediately. He sent me updates throughout the walk and even spent extra time with them. They liked him so much they tried to get in his car! I highly recommend Charles, and I will definitely be using him again.”

About: I’ve been around animals my entire life and have hands on experience for dogs and cats of all ages, sizes, and personalities! Growing up, my mom trained dogs professionally, which gave me early experience to dog behavior and proper pet care. Throughout high school, I regularly helped care for up to 10 dogs at a time, assisting with daily routines, exercise, feeding, and general care. I also grew up with a cat, and have always loved spending time with cats just as much as dogs. I understand that every pet has their own personality and comfort level, and I strive to make them feel safe and comfortable in yalls home. During college, I worked as a nanny for a family and was responsible for walking and caring for their two Great Danes. I bring responsibility, attention to detail, and genuine care to every pet I work with. Whether it’s a walk, a drop in visit, or overnight care, I will treat your pet just like family and provide you with updates, so you can have peace of mind while you’re away. I am available from 5:30PM-11 PM Monday-Friday, and have open availability on Saturdays and Sundays. Your pets safety and comfort are my top priorities. I understand that inviting someone into your home and trusting them with a beloved family member is a big decision, and I take it seriously. When caring for pets in their own home, I strive to keep their normal routine as closely as possible. Whether that means feeding schedules, walks, playtime, medication routines, or just spending quality time together, I know that consistency helps pets feel secure and comfortable while their parents are away. I am always respectful of clients’ homes and will always follow care instructions carefully. I pay close attention to detail, keep doors and gates secure, monitor pets, and communicate promptly if any concerns arise. My goal is to give you and your pet a stress free experience and peace of mind that comes from knowing they are being care for by someone dependable, attentive, and genuinely invested in their wellbeing. Every pet deserves patience, kindness, and individualized care.

He also has experience with training, administering medications, and helping care for dogs with a variety of needs and temperaments. In addition, he is CPR certified, providing an extra level of preparedness and peace of mind. One of our favorite things is working together and spending time with dogs. We make a great team and genuinely enjoy getting to know each dog’s unique personality, routine, and preferences. Between the two of us, your dog will receive plenty of attention, supervision, playtime, and affection. We understand that every dog is unique, and we treat every pet like family. Our goal is to provide a safe, loving, and stress-free environment so you can have peace of mind knowing your dog is in caring and experienced hands. I have a flexible schedule and am available throughout the week, including weekends. Whether your pet needs daytime care, overnight stays, or a consistent routine, I’m happy to work with you to find the best arrangement. I focus on making sure every dog feels safe, comfortable, and cared for at all times. I stay attentive to their needs throughout the day and always try to understand their behavior and energy so they feel at ease. I’m happy to follow any specific instructions or preferences you have—whether that’s feeding routines, medications, playtime styles, or anything else that helps your dog feel most comfortable. My goal is to keep things familiar, calm, and stress-free for both you and your pet.

“Caroline was great with communicating. We were greatly appreciative of her welcoming Bentley to stay last minute, seeing our other boarder had to back out due to a family emergency. I wouldn't hesitate to leave Bentley with her again.”

About: I have grown up with both cats and dogs, and then when I was able to I had two large breeds of my own for many years.
“First time finding Bob on Rover and it’s a great thing we did. He did an outstanding job taking care of our sweet Daphne, treating her like one of his own. We were more than comfortable leaving her in his care. He kept us up to date with pictures and was very quick to respond. We loved Bob and his sweet dog, Parker and we would highly recommend Bob.”

“Lorretta was wonderful! She was so communicative, sent lots of pictures and made sure my pup was safe and happy. She made sure our dog ate his meals, took him on plenty of walks, and included him in her day to day activities. We were visiting from out of state for a family reunion and were unable to have our dog stay with us. She was so accommodating and let us stop by multiple times to take our dog on day trips. Finding Lorretta allowed us to have our pup be apart of our vacation which was so important to us. We will 100% be using her in future years when visiting Traverse City!”

About: I started my pet care journey as a dog walker at age 9, and have found great joy in pet sitting over the years. I’ve cared for pets of all sizes, ages and personalities, and now specialize in in-home boarding where your pets are treated like part of our family. My home offers fenced acreage for safe, supervised running and play, along with structured walks and trail runs for those who need a little extra. After playtime, there’s always a warm bed, or a cozy spot on the couch, waiting for naps and snuggles. With degrees in Wildlife Biology and Zoology, I bring not only a deep love for animals but also a professional understanding of their behavior, needs, and well-being. Whether your pet is energetic and adventurous or prefers quiet companionship, I’ll make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and loved while you’re away. I split my regular work schedule with 3 wfh days each week. We are an early rising family who enjoy spending time on our homestead. We have several resident pets on the farm: 20 sheep, 2 mini donkeys, chickens and one beloved mutt. Our regular routine involves a 1 mi walk in the am and pm with lots of other opportunities throughout the day for supervised fresh air or playtime in one of our fenced 1 acre pastures. Safe and secure, a ball lovers paradise! I’m comfortable treating your pet as my own with specialized treatment or care as needed. We have 2 respectful preteen boys in the household so kid friendly dogs are an absolute must.
