About: I have had dogs and cats in my home for 50 years. I absolutely love pets, and treat them like they are just part of the family! I am retired so I have plenty of time to pet sit. I have always loved pets and would enjoy making sure your fur baby is content and happy. I live on a private road in a rural so traffic is mostly very minimal. However, I do leash walk pets so they are safe.

About: I have had a family pet most of my life! I love dogs and love to train them. I have experience watching my friend's dogs while they are on vacation. I work full-time out of our home. Weekends I am most often home or close to home. Our dogs get plenty of attention and activities. I have a partial fence that allows room to go out. I live in a quiet neighborhood that works well for walking dogs. We have an Aussie Doottle and he loves to play with other dogs. He gets along great with other dogs and children. April 1 - October 31 we stay at a campground. There are no fences there but we have plenty of room to play, walk, and use the dog park.

“I couldn't have asked for a better sitter! Bob was able to pick up Edison from my hotel 20 minutes away from his house and watched him all day while I was working. What I got in return was a very happy and tired dog! Bob sent me updates throughout the day to let me know how Edison was doing, and with a large fenced-in yard my dog was able to roam free with the other dogs. I will definitely use Bob again if I'm staying in the Kalamazoo area and I would recommend you do too!”

“Thank you Amy! Einstein is totally exhausted from his great day with you. He loves playing with other dogs and seemed very happy with your house. Thank you for the pictures and videos we love seeing him happy and allowed us to enjoy our time together.”

“I had a last minute trip to Grand Rapids for work and spent time looking for the perfect fit to watch my 7 mo old puppy during the day. Once I came across Anne’s profile, I’d hoped for a good experience and let me tell you, Anne and her family were absolutely amazing! They were super attentive to my pup — taking him for walks, allowing him to play with their animals, and maintaining structure for him by encouraging rest time, and correcting his behavior. Every time I came to pick him up, he was so sad to leave and he was super excited to be back at their house each time I dropped him off! I can’t sing their praises enough, it means the world to me that they helped me in a pinch and that they did an exceptional job! Any time I return to the area, Anne will be my go-to everytime!”

“I work from home, but had to travel for an all day training event. Luckily, Kim was able to keep my two Frenchies for the day. She sent so many great photos and updated me on how they were doing throughout the day. They came home happy, exhausted boys and snoozed the night away. Leaving our pups with anyone is such a very stressful event for us as our boys are family. Kim made the process less worrisome for us by sending the pictures, updates and quickly responding to my texts. We will be back! ?”

“Pippa had blast today with Kyra and the other pups. Photos show her running and enjoying the fenced yard. She seemed happy when I picked her up as well as well cared for. Kyra was very easy to work with and accommodating last minute changes.”

“I can’t say enough great things about Katherine and her lovely pups/cats! She was incredibly attentive to my pup, communicated clearly and consistently, and truly went above and beyond to care for Percy. I would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable, thoughtful, and caring sitter.”

“Kathy has been wonderful taking care of my two doggos. She really works to understand my dogs' needs and what they're trying to tell her. She really treats them like there her owns dogs and part of the family. She has been nothing short of amazing in helping me curb some unwanted behaviors at home. When I go out of town in the future, I will be at ease knowing she's taking care of them.”

“We needed a last minute option for the day, and now have a great place to take our active dog. Really appreciated the outdoor and indoor space Charlie had at Kristopher’s and also his knowledge of dogs and their needs. Our super active dog settled in right away for the whole day. Highly recommend!”

About: I’ve been helping my parents raise dogs since I was around 10 years old, our first dog being a collie we rescued as she wasn’t being treated well with her initial owners. We took her in and got her cleaned up, took care of the fleas she had, found her a good diet, and gave her lots of love and attention through it all. We took her on camping trips, out on the water to go fishing, out on walks and to get pup cups at the ice cream shop, her favorite place being my granny’s house. Alongside her, we raised three more dogs when they were puppies, each one two years apart. 2 of them are Australian shepherds, and one is a husky, all girls and grew to form their own little pack, respecting each other’s place and playing happily in a big fenced in back yard. We supported our collie till her last breath as she was elderly, and even as she was so old, she always had her usual, laid back and quirky personality. Even now, I continue to help my parents take care of our dogs, as they’re not just pets, they’re our family, our fur babies, even in they’re old stages of life, they’ll always be our little babies in our hearts. So rest assured, your fur baby will be 110% safe and cared for with me, maybe even a bit spoiled! I’m sticking with Rover full time for a while! I’ve tried Camp Bow Wow, and found it isn’t the right work environment for me. I like providing services through Rover as I can better manage my schedule and get to know your fur babies more personally! With specific instructions written on paper, I have no issues accommodating to your pet’s needs in your home! I’m respectful during visits in others homes, treating them as my own and keeping spaces clean and tidy. With proper cleaning tools, I can clean up accidents on hard surfaces or rugs, I may need a demonstration on how to use a specific cleaning machine or vacuum depending on how complicated it is. I’m not allergic to any animal, or any breed, so pet hair doesn’t bother me! If need be, I am able to administer oral medications with proper instruction and demonstration. On walks I make sure to keep dogs close to me and away from the road, I carry doggy bags, and on hot days, I’ll carry a little folded up bowl that I can poor water in, so your baby stays hydrated!

I take pride in being responsible, dependable, and respectful of both pets and their owners. My goal is to make sure every pet feels safe, comfortable, and loved while you’re away, and to give owners peace of mind knowing their furry family member is in good hands. I pay close attention to their energy level, behavior, and surroundings to ensure they have an enjoyable experience. Whether your dog prefers a brisk walk, a run, or a slower-paced stroll with lots of sniffing opportunities, I adapt to their individual needs. I always use safe handling practices, stay alert to potential hazards, and make sure your pet gets the exercise, enrichment, and attention they deserve. My goal is for every pet to return home happy, healthy, and tired from a fun outing!
About: I bring over 15 years of experience as a puppy trainer for Canine Companions for Independence, where I helped raise and train service dog puppies with structure, consistency, and patience. I understand routines, communication, and the importance of making pets feel safe and secure while their owners are away. What sets me apart is reliability, experience, and treating every pet like family — with structured care, attention to detail, and consistent updates for peace of mind. Summers are even more open, allowing me to offer consistent, reliable care with a flexible schedule. Because I’m home-based, I’m able to prioritize punctuality, routine, and communication. Pet care isn’t something I try to squeeze in — it’s something I can intentionally plan my day around to ensure your pets receive dependable, attentive care. When caring for pets in a client’s home, my priority is keeping their routine as normal and stress-free as possible. I follow feeding schedules carefully, provide exercise or playtime based on their needs, clean litter boxes or pick up waste promptly, and reinforce any household rules or training already in place. I understand that pets feel most comfortable in their own environment, so I focus on consistency, patience, and attentiveness. I also provide regular updates and photos so you can feel confident and connected while you’re away. With over 15 years of experience training puppies for Canine Companions for Independence and a lifetime of owning both dogs and cats, I’m highly observant of behavior and body language, ensuring your pet feels safe, secure, and well cared for at all times.

During that time, I’ve cared for her two cats – feeding, grooming, cleaning litter boxes, and giving them plenty of love and playtime. Cats are easygoing, and I truly enjoy spending time with them. About: I have 5 dogs of my own, ranging from a cattle dog to a pitbull.I have no problem taking care of any type of animal and I have experience in all fields of care, including bathing, walking, nail-trimming, and more. I personally have 5 dogs in a non-fenced in yard but they are all very well trained. I would prefer to keep your animals in the comfort of their own home though due to my dogs being very playful, if your dogs are comfortable being in a high-energy setting it would be no problem but they don’t need added stress from my rowdy bunch.

“Sasha's experience and manner with Benji has made the transition from Metro Detroit a easy endeavor. Her video and Pic updates and communication were welcome. Sasha, a real professional indeed. Benji's tail wag was the sign that sealed the deal. Benji and I will be looking forward to future stays with our new Dog Whisper 😀”

“Liz was absolutely lovely. She took great care of my very anxious dog and went above and beyond to make sure she was comfortable and kept me updated as to how she was doing all weekend. Would definitely recommend.”

“Anne and her family were so kind to watch my pup Dune last minute after our original dog sitting plans for vacation fell through. We did an initial met/greet to ensure our dogs got along and Dune loved playing with the other pups. Communication with daily updates and photos was awesome! Kenneling overnight. We were so grateful for your flexiblity and help! Thank you all for taking such great care of my boy :)”

“Natasha was excellent, she truly loves animals and cared for my dog. She communicated with me everyday I was gone on how my dog was doing with pictures. Emi loved being there. I will be using her again in June! Thank you Natasha!”

“Katlynn and her family took great care watching our beloved Mr. Fox, an Airedale Terrier. She went above and beyond our expectations and will board with them again. Thanks so much! ❤️”

“Kaylee was AMAZING with my Addy. She sent us so many updates and adorable pictures. Addy was so tired after we picked her up today she sent herself to bed two hours before her normal bedtime. Thanks again Kaylee :)”

“Beth did a great job caring for Finley. He came home happy and exhausted! He enjoyed the freedom of her fenced in yard and also snuggles with Beth. He made new friends in the other dogs Beth was caring for, and Beth did a great job making sure they all got along well. Beth was flexible and communicated well both before and during Finley's stay. We would definitely have Finley stay with Beth again in the future!”

“Christina was great with our dog Asher! She was great at communicating and sent pictures of him to us while we were on vacation and showed us how he was loving spending time with their dog. They even sent us home with a new dog toy for Asher and he loves it. Thanks for helping us out! We will definitely request to book with them again.”

“Our dog Samantha could not be happier when she stays with Julie and her husband, Joe. We feel very comfortable leaving Samantha with them. They kept a close eye on her and even noticed some ear issue that was communicated and taken care of right away. Highly recommend them!”

“Franny had the BEST time. Kailee and her kids were so incredibly sweet with our puppy, and they were so welcoming and accommodating to her young puppy needs. 10/10 recommend! Franny absolutely loved their huge backyard too.”

“Janelle was fantastic and knows how hard it is to leave behind your family member. She was very reassuring and sent us photos and wonderful messages everyday. We could not have asked for a better caretaker for our pup!! She had fun adventures with their dogs and got plenty of play time outdoors. Janelle went above and beyond and helped ensure all things went smoothly. We are so grateful for the care she gave our dog and we couldn’t be happier!”

“Pamela always does an excellent job with Leia! She goes above and beyond to create a welcoming, warm, safe and fun environment for her. And she always comes home with a special treat!”

“I was so pleased with Amanda (and her family’s) care of my two pups when I was gone. I had a last minute, 7 day trip come up and all of my regulars were booked. I was a little nervous using a new person on such short notice, for a longer stint. When I met Amanda, her family, and dog Oso my worries were quickly relieved. I had the warmest Rovwr experience I’ve had yet just during the meet and greet. Amanda asked lots of questions to make the stay go as smoothly as possible, and sent frequent updates and pictures. Amanda’s two kids were very gentle and loving to my little dogs as well. I am grateful I found Amanda on such short notice!”

“Jenai and Sean have taken wonderful care of our two active Aussies. I’m picky about who cares for my dogs as they both have individual quarks and I trust Jenai and Sean 110%!”
