From learning patience with young dogs at the age of 5 weeks old, to attending to a 14 -year-old dog, I have open-handedly experienced what it is like dealing with dogs of all ages. I have also dealt with the sassy teenager phase from both dogs and cats. When they are bored, they will make it known. The biggest take I have learned from taking care of dogs and cats is that they won’t always be on your timeline. You have to be extremely patient and take time to train them and be there for them. I’m currently working part-time Monday 9am-5pm, and every other Tuesdays and Thursdays from 3pm-7pm. I am going to school but I mainly take online classes, so I’ll have plenty of time to give your pets the attention they need. My schedule is flexible and my boyfriend also lives with me and helps me so your pet won’t get bored! He’s home during the periods I am out so overall my schedule is free. I have a fenced in mini pet park next to my apartment. Your furry companion will get all of the exercise he/she needs! My apartment is very cozy and safe, only smaller pets are allowed so there won’t be any issue with other pet owner neighbors.

As cat owners, we know how sensitive and stressed they can get, and introducing cats to other new cats just adds more unnecessary stress. This separate entrance and room allows for a stress free, safe environment that's large and clean to play and hang in, all to themselves! They will have their own sanitized, fresh litter, litterbox at the ready for them. No need to have to haul your own supplies here! Just bring any food and treats (or any special toys or blankets that you feel might be good things for them to enjoy their stay better, or be more at ease!) Your pets must be fully vaccinated in order to come stay, so please be ready to show proof of up to date vaccinations prior to any boarding bookings. This is for the safety of both your fur babies and mine.

I currently work mornings at a doggy daycare, so I’m primarily available after work for afternoon and evening pet care. I’m happy to help with: • Daily or weekly dog walks 🐕 • Drop-in visits for dogs and cats 🐶🐱 • Feeding, fresh water, potty breaks, and litter box care • Playtime, cuddles, companionship, and plenty of TLC • Pet care while you’re at work, out for the day, or away from home I currently live in an apartment, so unfortunately I’m unable to host pets overnight in my home. However, I’m more than happy to come to you, and when it comes to dogs, I’d love to take your pup on an adventure! Whether they have a favorite park, trail, or walking spot, just let me know and I’ll happily take them there. I love exploring with my own dog and would love to do the same with yours! And when it comes to cats, the more the merrier! I absolutely love kitties. When I come to your home for a check-in, just let me know their routine, favorite toys, treats, hiding spots, or how they like to receive attention. Whether your kitty wants lots of cuddles and playtime or simply some quiet company, I’ll make sure they receive plenty of love and care while you’re away.
About: I’ve had dogs for most of my life and currently care for two of my own, so I’m very familiar with daily routines like feeding, walks, playtime, cleanup, and giving pets lots of attention and affection. I also help care for my sister’s cat when needed. What sets me apart is that I have experience caring for a senior dog, including giving oral medication, joint supplements, and applying eye and ear medication as needed. I’m also comfortable teaching basic tricks and engaging dogs mentally through training and play. I’m comfortable with dogs of different sizes and energy levels and understand how important it is for pets to feel safe, comfortable, and cared for while their owners are away. I’m very responsible, reliable, and patient, and I always treat every pet like my own. Pet care fits easily into my routine since I currently work part-time and have a flexible schedule. I’m available for walks, drop-in visits, and pet sitting on most weekdays, as well as weekends. I’ve grown up around dogs and currently have two dogs of my own, so caring for pets is already part of my daily life. I’m used to feeding schedules, walks, playtime, and keeping a consistent routine for pets. I prioritize making pets feel safe, comfortable, and at home while their owners are away. I have experience with crate training and can easily crate dogs if needed, as well as follow any specific routines or instructions you provide. I currently have two friendly dogs, so I’m familiar with managing multiple pets in a calm and controlled environment. I always make sure pets are supervised, cared for, and treated like family.

“Ellen was absolutely fantastic taking care of my 7 month old puppy. JJ was staying with her for an extended amount of time and she still kept me updated with pictures and comments on a daily basis. Even as JJ is still in training, Ellen was extremely patient and still made things very easy for me when I was gone. There was also almost always one or more dogs there at any given time to keep JJ company. Her fenced in backyard is an added bonus as all dogs staying with her have free range to explore and run around. I will 100% be booking again in the near future! Nothing but praise for Ellen!”
