About: I have been a pet owner my entire life and have adopted many rescues. Advocating for those who cannot speak for themselves is important to me! I continue to participate in fundraisers for the Humane Society, the Annex Cat Rescue and the Canada Cuba Pet Rescue. I have extensive experience in dog walking, drop-in visits, doggie daycare and boarding services. I have also waked dogs for the Humane Society. I was fortunate to have a pet sitter/ dog walker that I could trust and I am excited to be able to provide that for others now that I have time! I will care for your pet as I would my own and I fully understand how difficult it is to leave your loved one in someone else's care. I don't take this trust lightly! About: I've grown up with dogs, cats, and various other animals in my family so I have lots of experience in caring for them. A family friend has told me I'm like a dog whisperer because most dogs are comfortable with me. I'm most comfortable with no more than 4 dogs at a time, whether they're small like a Dachshund or a Cardigan Welsh Corgi, medium-sized like a Brittany Spaniel or a Labrador, or large like a Newfoundland or Great Dane. I also am able to train dogs in simple commands such as stay, sit, lay down, and shake. And I'm willing to help potty train puppies and bathe dogs if needed. I do have experience with elderly dogs or sick dogs with many health conditions and medications. Either myself or my spouse is nearly always at home. I work a flexible job where I can stop at home during the day if needed. I currently have my own dog and cat. I am working on getting a fence but currently just a tie-out lead and a large dog house is what I have with lots of land to run.
