About: I’ve been around and cared for cats for practically my entire life! My family fostered cats who had difficulty finding loving homes, including cats with disabilities, anxiety, behavioral challenges, and those who simply needed some extra patience and understanding. Because of this, I’ve learned that every cat has their own personality, boundaries, and way of showing trust. I have experience with cats of all ages, from playful kittens to senior cats who need a gentler approach and extra care. I’m comfortable with feeding routines, litter box care, medications, special needs, enrichment, and giving cats the time and space they need to feel safe around me. About: We’ve had a family puppy for as long as I can remember! My brother and I do lots of volunteering between nearby shelters and we also do watch other dogs. My aunt has two German Shepards and a pit-bull that I watch quite often so I have experience with bigger dogs as well. I’m currently working a full time job from 8:30-4:30 PM, M-F. I can watch a dog any day during the week and or overnight as long as they can go that long without potty breaks! If the house is nearby I can go on my lunches to let the pets out :) We currently have an electric fence and colar for our puppy and are very cautious any time letting him out. I will give the same care for your puppy any time I am around it!

Our pack leader Austin has been an amateur mush dog trainer for two years with plans to compete in 2026. He is great with dogs of all sizes and has a heart for all breeds. What got him into dog training for others was E-collar training 2 of our dogs himself after having our husky trained professionally. This gave us the freedom to adventure with our pups the way we longed to. We have been doing basic grooming for our labradoodle for 3 years, nail trimming all of our dogs' nails for 5 years, and bathing them for nearly 7 so your dogs will be in loving hands if they are in need of some pampering! I'm currently a full-time at home parent and dog dad. My schedule is flexible with advance notice, but for our daily schedule I do biking with my husky, playtime in the back yard, and the pups nap or have hangout time in the dog den! I have a garage for grooming and introductions, then two gates used to separate the dog areas from the rest of the house. Within the dog area is a finished basement and den if dogs need to be separated. At this time, I have 2 crates of different sizes for use if needed or desired. The backyard is fully fenced and great for runners to get out excess energy.

I’m currently working full time afternoons at a hospital in Rockford! I am available during the day most of the time. My boyfriend is home during the night to assist with potty breaks and dinner. Message me of what times work best for you. There are various places to walk dogs throughout the town. I try to stay clear of areas that are heavily populated with animals if your dog doesn’t like other dogs.

We were away on vacation for 10 days, and finding someone you truly trust to care for your fur child is never easy - especially when your dog is a White Swiss Shepherd whose whole world is her family. But they were absolutely incredible with Luna. ❤️ They provided daily updates with photos that gave us so much comfort, and they truly worked with Luna at her pace, honoring her personality and her need to build trust slowly. It was so clear she felt safe, understood, and genuinely cared for. The most amazing part? When we went to pick her up, Luna showed unmistakable signs that she had accepted them as part of her pack. “My pups loved their weeklong stay with Janelle (and Kevin!)! Janelle went above and beyond with my somewhat “special needs” and raw fed dogs (a puppy and a CHF dog with a strict medication administration routine). Despite a week of nasty humid and stormy weather, Janelle managed to get them outside to play when it cleared up, but they were also content snuggling or napping. I was sent daily reports and pictures. My dogs usually take a bit to warm up to strangers, but this was not the case with Janelle- they were immediately comfortable and returned home happy and well fed. This is the second time with her and I won’t trust anyone else to care for them moving forward!”
