About: Ive always had pets growing up my whole life, I started watching other people’s pets my last year of high school. I love all animals and I care for them like they are my own. I know how difficult it can be to leave your pet behind when going on vacation, work calls, etc. which is why I keep all owners updated and informed on how their fur babies are doing. I grew up with dogs in our house and was taught to treat them no less than family members, having said that, I need to confess I am the worst person when it comes to disciplining a dog, but if you have some simple rules for your canine companion, I will follow them. My own puppy is seven years old and he is a spoiled little one, but is a gentle and sweet young fellow, his sister is a quiet long haired kitty. I love them both so much. About: Hi! My name is Audrey! I am a former nurse and used to take care of humans for a living but am pursuing a career change. I now take care of fur babies, but my 7 years of nursing experience has taught me patience, flexibility, and safety skills (as well as making me an expert at cleaning pee and poop). I've been a dog owner and taken care of dogs since I was 12 years old. I've had multiple dogs growing up and currently own my 10-year old Golden Shepherd Mix rescue, Maxx. I also work part time as a barista and will occasionally be working 4 to 8 hr shifts periodically throughout the week, but with enough notice, I can try to adjust my schedule to accommodate for you if your pet can't be alone for long periods of time. I can't imagine a life without having a fur baby, and I hope I get to help take care of yours! I work part time as a barista and my schedule changes every week with shifts varying from 4-8hrs long at a time. With enough notice (usually about 2-3 weeks ahead ideally), I can adjust my schedule to try and accommodate for you especially if your pet can't be alone for long periods of time. I'm willing and able to do any day of the week! I'm fairly flexible, so I'll do my best to get my schedule to work with yours. I live in a cozy 2-bedroom apartment with a lot of space to walk around the apartment complex. There is a fenced in dog runner at this complex too.

I will likely ask a lot of questions the first time I dog/cat sit for you. Knowing your pet's routine and their preference is very important to me to make sure I am prepared to take good care of them in your absence. I appreciate detailed instructions for house sitting, especially to make sure your pet is as comfortable and happy as can be while you are away. I do not mind if you'd like photo or text updates throughout the time you are away, so you can rest assured your pet is in good hands. I feel the same when I am traveling! For walks and such, I will still have a few questions to ensure I know how to best care for your pet while interacting with other animals and people. I am able-bodied and active and love walks at all times a day to get my (and their) steps in!
