He was very responsive, and his quick replies helped me check in on her. I was informed that there were a couple of diarrheal episodes. It would have been more helpful for me to relay these episodes to the vet if they had been described in more detail with text and photos. I also came home early and greatly appreciated his flexibility in allowing me to pick Maggie up a day early. Lastly, I wish Rover supported video so that I could see Maggie during her stay. With that administrating medicine, long walks, puppy stage and training I have gotten to learn. I would fully treat your dog as my own and make sure they are the absolute most tail wagging version of them selves wether that be playing fetch, going on a long walk, dog park or even laying on the couch I am ready for whatever it is!! About: I finally talked my mom and Grandma into letting me have a cat when I was 15. I named her Simpson, and despite her lowly birth, she was a divine fluffy black and white princess. Her warm welcome included oral dewormer, a bath, a good brushing, a nail trim, and topical flea treatment. I have since gained experience trimming nails and applying flea medication/preventative to cats other than my own. I love engaging kitties in play, a relaxing brush session, or simply finding which unconventional places they prefer most to nap in. I will carefully measure food, or make sure a bowl is never empty. Scooping litter is a breeze, and I can scrub a box with the best of them. I am no stranger to cleaning hairballs and vomit, but if your cat is likely to make a mess I would like to know where the cleaning supplies are kept and what you'd like me to use. I respect their autonomy and will snuggle those who request it, and leave be the ones who prefer to be left alone. If your feline friend longs for the outdoors, please provide instructions on how to best ensure they stay inside- I WILL cry if your cat escapes on my watch.

Pet Care in My Home Pets in my home receive dedicated supervision unless prior arrangements are made: Dogs: If a dog is staying with me and needs to be left alone for an extended period, I require a crate for their safety and comfort. However, my schedule is highly flexible, minimizing the time they are left alone. Cats: Cats may be left unsupervised in a designated, pet-safe room with regular check-ins. Handling Aggressive or Special Needs Pets I have extensive experience with fearful, reactive, and aggressive pets, but clear and honest communication is essential: Cats: I am comfortable handling feral or aggressive cats and will take the necessary time to build trust. I can administer medication as needed, but I require full transparency about their behavior to ensure safety for all. Dogs: I can accommodate dogs with minor behavioral challenges, such as leash reactivity or mild anxiety. However, for safety reasons, I cannot accept: Dogs over 50 lbs who are not at least moderately leash-trained. Dogs requiring a muzzle or choke collar in public settings. Dogs with severe aggression or unpredictable behavior. Double-Booking Policy For the safety and well-being of all pets, I do not double-book boarding, daycare, or walks unless all parties have given consent and a meet-and-greet has taken place. If multiple dogs are staying in my home at the same time, a meet-and-greet is required. Even if the dogs get along, they will not be left alone together unless securely crated. Cats and dogs boarding in my home simultaneously will be kept in separate areas with no contact.

About: Hi, I'm Lexie. I am high-masking autistic, which for me means that I look and sound pretty "normal" but my brain is structured differently. My special interest is dogs! Mainly behavior but also history, breeds, care... Anything dog. I am a dog-trainer-in-training currently pursuing certifications that will help me teach dogs with behavioral issues that the world is ok! I am experienced with multi-dog homes that need "crate and rotate" care, "hands off" care, puppy care, and if you leave instructions I could do just about anything- I am not bothered by reptiles, amphibians, non-flying (pet or feeder) bugs, although I am nervous of birds. I'm very detail oriented. My background in home healthcare ensures that your home and pet(s) will be respected, and I am comfortable administering oral or topical medications. My availability is from 9am-5pm Monday-Thursday, Fridays from 8am-3pm. On Fridays, my 5 year old is home with me and will likely accompany me to drop-ins. She is dog savvy (for her age) and is respectful of dogs and cats, but since she is small I can only visit cats and well-mannered pups! I am a fan of cooperative techniques. I would rather spend 15 minutes strategizing how to entice "Fluffy" back in their crate than try to force them. For potty visits, I prefer to clip a long drag line to the dogs harness or collar- just in case they don't respond to a recall from me, or if there is any chance at all they might make a break for it! That way, we can still play and have fun, but with a safe guard in place. For walks, I will always want to specify if you are wanting a structured walk or a sniffari, or a combination. Structured walking is only available to dogs that already know how to walk on a loose leash. If you are interested in loose leash walking, that is something we can work on! For feeding or medications, I will need exact instructions! How much food, what you use to measure it (example: 1 full scoop with the blue cup on the counter, 8oz raw thawed in fridge, fill up the black kong, etc), and amount of supplements or extras. For oral meds, please specify if it needs to be "hidden" and what to hide it in (wet food, pb, etc.)

About: I started a new job 7 months ago where I work 12 hour swing shifts. I’m scheduled to work 3-4 days or nights per week, but have opportunities for overtime. Please do reach out to see if I’m available. I love walking and running. Being outdoors as much as I can when it’s nice out! 🌞 I pay a good attention to details and often like to double check things. I do whatever is asked of me. I always do my best and with honesty. Accept same day bookings as long as I don’t already have something planned of course! Don’t have kids or personal pets of my own. Just family pets. If I have to be gone for more than what the dog is allowed to be alone. Then I will go back and check on them and let them out for a quick potty break. I’m currently only scheduling for the weekends that I am off. So my schedule is limited as I work a 12 hours of swing shift. I do have every other weekend off, plus a day or two during the week. I walk the dog on the side walk or on the road if there are no sidewalk and if it’s not a busy road. I feed and give your dog water. Also medication if they take any. I also play with your dog if requested or I see the need.

About: When I have been a sitter in the past I was in charge of admitting medication few times a day. Feed dogs separates if they had special feedings. I also did overnight stays up to 5 days. I also walked the dogs a couple times a day. I also have watched up to four dogs at a time. I currently very open at this point in time. My availability will be everyday from 10am on to10 p.m. and every weekend I am also available, but my hours are more flexible. A family-friendly pet environment. Since I work full time, and it's retail my schedule fluctuates alot. I'm often available first thing in the morning and then in the evening. On my off days which also fluctuate my schedule is open. As far as boarding goes. I have a 3200 Sq ft house. Split into an upstairs and a down stairs. I have had to keep my mom's dogs separate from our dogs when she visits and it's never been a probably to rotate the dogs in and out, etc. I am confident in taking great care of your loved one and also taking care of mine. The basement door stays shut with access for the cat via kitty door. I personally have a fenced in large yard. I'm very loving, however am willing to use my dog mom voice to ask pets to sit, or lay down when necessary. I stay aware of the amount of time my dogs are outside and the weather conditions, sympathizing to their paw needs. Our pets get treats, snuggles and praise often. The biggest thing we make sure to do is to be aware of our pets body language. How their ears sit, if they seem agitated, if they do or don't want play time, etc. This allows us to give them what they need and prevent any kind of hostilities towards one another. In the 4 years we've had our current 3 dogs this has proven to be very successful.

About: Hi! I am new to Rover, but caring for dogs is something my family truly loves. I have a friendly golden retriever named Stanley who absolutely thrives when he has other dogs to play with—so hosting furry friends is a joy for all of us! He was very responsive, and his quick replies helped me check in on her. I was informed that there were a couple of diarrheal episodes. It would have been more helpful for me to relay these episodes to the vet if they had been described in more detail with text and photos. I also came home early and greatly appreciated his flexibility in allowing me to pick Maggie up a day early. Lastly, I wish Rover supported video so that I could see Maggie during her stay. I know if they were not getting along he would have kept them separate and protected her. But turns out they all got along.
