About: I love taking care of and playing with dogs as I have had 5 throughout my life! I am recommended by my friends to others. I am currently a student at GVSU and I work at Butterworth hospital in Grand Rapids on the weekends. I am available to dog/cat sit Monday-Thursdays. Right now I live in an on campus apartment at GVSU and live 2 minutes away from a huge dog park. During the summer, I will be at home with a fenced in backyard in a very safe environment. I have 4 dogs and 1 cat at home. When I move out, I will be living in an apartment that is pet friendly with a dog park!
About: I have experience crate and potty training puppies, litter box training, and can assist with basic obedience training. I am comfortable administering medication as directed, and can ensure adherence to veterinary recommendations (ie. wearing a cone, frequent walks/potty breaks, etc). I work limited part time (10 hrs/wk) and already have a solid routine with my own pets, so caring for yours would be easy to manage! I live in a two story home with a finished basement. Some areas in the home are gated off for safety. Our property is fully fenced in. Our home has young children, as well as our own friendly pets: a 5yo female Golden Retriever and two adult male cats. All our animals are fixed/spayed. We enjoy lots of playtime, walking, and running to help get the energy out.

I think she wanted to stay and play with the other doggies and their little girl. I let her in the truck and she jumped out the other side. Ha! Highly, highly recommend. About: I’ve taken care of animals for as long as I remember. It started with my family dog and bearded dragon which both lived a very long and fulfilling life. I currently have a border collie mix of my own right now and some fish. I have lots of experience walking and taking care of dogs. I have experience taking care of dogs of all sizes, all ages (puppy to senior), all energy levels, and various different breeds (Boykin Spaniels, Pitbulls, Pomeranians, Border Collies, and Labs to name a few). Some of those dogs were anxious and/or reactive. I also understand the extra patience it takes to care for rescues and fosters because I volunteered at an animal shelter in Minnesota when I was in high school, my dog is a rescue, and I fostered a sweet Black Lab puppy in college. I have some experience caring for cats. I’ve watched cats for a few of my friends with no issues! Something that makes me different than other pet sitters is that I’m a wildlife biologist, so I am very educated about a lot of species and am always so excited to gain more experience caring for a new creature. I handle and manage for wild animals daily. In summary, I’d love to take care of your pet and give it the love and attention it deserves. Feel free to reach out anytime! About: I’ve had my puppy for about 6 months now and would love to have doggy friends over for play dates. She could use some doggy interaction. She loves to play with other dogs. I work a few days out of the week a couple hours a day. I’m home the rest of the time. I won’t take in any dogs while I’m away. I can rearrange my work schedule so I don’t have to go in any certain day or time. I have a big yard that is not fenced in, but I can take your dog out on a leash if you provide one. I can take them for walks around my property. And if you allow it they can free roam the yard as well.

About: We are a family of four who are extreme animal and dog lovers! We have one 6mo. Petite Goldendoodle named Reaves and a 5y.o. Goldendoodle Bron. Excited for an experience to hang out with your beloved pups. We live in town very close to lots of walking paths and have plenty of room for vehicle transportation. We make many trips to the beach during the week and are always playing catch. We are a very active family and would love to have your family pet join our gang. Have been around all breeds and familiarized with how they behave. Have been a part of Rover for over five years; love the community! Only special request is that times specified be held true on your end. Cancellation fees and fees for being late to specified times requested should be expected (we plan our family time around pups, please be respectful & don’t be late). The normal day walks would be alternated with when your pups need to be cared for. About: I’ve almost always had a pet whether it was a cat, kitten, puppy, family dog, or fish. I enjoyed taking care of the neighborhoods pets growing up as well as house sitting for them. When I was bored I used to ask the neighbors if I could walk their dogs just to get outside! I love animals in all shapes and sizes. Currently I work full time from home. I have a pretty flexible schedule for when I can take a lunch break or leave the house for an extended amount of time. Come March I will be self employed and will have open availability! There is no fence around our home, ideally outside time will be on a leash or long lead rope for running. We can do long walks down the road, a quick car ride to the beach, or walk in the state land across the street from my home. For cats we have lots of climbing structures and even some shelves built into the wall. Many toys and much love to go around

I currently live somewhere where I can't have more animals, so pet care at my home is a no go, however I am more than happy to stick to any routines your pet may have in your own home and make sure they get plenty of attention.

About: I love taking care of and playing with dogs as I have had 5 throughout my life! I am recommended by my friends to others. I am currently a student at GVSU and I work at Butterworth hospital in Grand Rapids on the weekends. I am available to dog/cat sit Monday-Thursdays. Right now I live in an on campus apartment at GVSU and live 2 minutes away from a huge dog park. During the summer, I will be at home with a fenced in backyard in a very safe environment. I have 4 dogs and 1 cat at home. When I move out, I will be living in an apartment that is pet friendly with a dog park!
About: I have experience crate and potty training puppies, litter box training, and can assist with basic obedience training. I am comfortable administering medication as directed, and can ensure adherence to veterinary recommendations (ie. wearing a cone, frequent walks/potty breaks, etc). I work limited part time (10 hrs/wk) and already have a solid routine with my own pets, so caring for yours would be easy to manage! I live in a two story home with a finished basement. Some areas in the home are gated off for safety. Our property is fully fenced in. Our home has young children, as well as our own friendly pets: a 5yo female Golden Retriever and two adult male cats. All our animals are fixed/spayed. We enjoy lots of playtime, walking, and running to help get the energy out.

“Carlie and her family took great care of my dog while I was gone. Brimley went to the park, took some walks, got to run and play ball and was fawned over by Carlie's little one. Brimley ate up allllll the attention!! I got plenty of pictures andy doggie was popped out when she got home. In fact, when I arrived to pick her up, I don't think Brimley was too keen on going home. I think she wanted to stay and play with the other doggies and their little girl. I let her in the truck and she jumped out the other side. Ha! Highly, highly recommend. About: I’ve taken care of animals for as long as I remember. It started with my family dog and bearded dragon which both lived a very long and fulfilling life. I currently have a border collie mix of my own right now and some fish. I have lots of experience walking and taking care of dogs. I have experience taking care of dogs of all sizes, all ages (puppy to senior), all energy levels, and various different breeds (Boykin Spaniels, Pitbulls, Pomeranians, Border Collies, and Labs to name a few). Some of those dogs were anxious and/or reactive. I also understand the extra patience it takes to care for rescues and fosters because I volunteered at an animal shelter in Minnesota when I was in high school, my dog is a rescue, and I fostered a sweet Black Lab puppy in college. I have some experience caring for cats. I’ve watched cats for a few of my friends with no issues! Something that makes me different than other pet sitters is that I’m a wildlife biologist, so I am very educated about a lot of species and am always so excited to gain more experience caring for a new creature. I handle and manage for wild animals daily. In summary, I’d love to take care of your pet and give it the love and attention it deserves. Feel free to reach out anytime! I have plenty of free time right now, all day, every day. I am temporarily furloughed because of the government shutdown so am looking for some more cash. This seemed like a fun way! Safety is very important to me. If your pet comes to my place or if I watch your pet, I would keep them safe by following these rules I’ve created: - I don’t let dogs have huge bones or huge treats without supervision to avoid choking. - I always have the closest vet’s number written down in case of emergencies prior to caring for your pet. - I always have pet first aid supplies available just in case. - I ask about a pet’s reactivity towards dogs, people, and other animals prior to caring for your pet so I can keep your pet safe on walks.
About: I don’t have “professional” pet sitting experience but I do have personal experiences. My grandmother had puppies that I helped caring for them. She had two shih Tzu puppies that I loved like they were my own. Sadly, they both passed away around the same time. I know how important it is to take care of your pets because pets are more like family than animals. So, I hope that you will trust me enough to take care of your family. About: I’ve had my puppy for about 6 months now and would love to have doggy friends over for play dates. She could use some doggy interaction. She loves to play with other dogs. I work a few days out of the week a couple hours a day. I’m home the rest of the time. I won’t take in any dogs while I’m away. I can rearrange my work schedule so I don’t have to go in any certain day or time. I have a big yard that is not fenced in, but I can take your dog out on a leash if you provide one. I can take them for walks around my property. And if you allow it they can free roam the yard as well.
