As soon as I got him into the car after pick up, he fell right asleep! I could tell he had a great time. A few days he had developed a bit of a limp, and Mari Jane kept me super updated on his progress. He doesn't know when to quit and it turns out he just was having too much fun on the farm! About: Experienced with all kinds of dogs. I grew up with an 8lb maltese and went to boarding school where I frequently took care of a golden doodle and a pitbull/boxer puppy. Spent a summer with my brothers dog (pitbull mix), dogsat 2 older dogs for a summer (golden and mini doodle) and also have some experience taking care of cats. I’ve had experience with over hyper dogs and anxious dogs so I know how to adjust their environment to make them most comfortable. I live in a small apartment but I am right next to a park and enjoy exercising/being outside. I am currently working Monday through Friday from 7-4:30 so I am not generally available till 5:30 on a weekday. I’m available on the weekends! I have no pets of my own so your pet will be getting my full attention. I live down the road from a large park and there are many walking paths nearby. Cancellation fees and fees for being late to specified times requested should be expected (we plan our family time around pups, please be respectful & don’t be late). The normal day walks would be alternated with when your pups need to be cared for. About: I’ve almost always had a pet whether it was a cat, kitten, puppy, family dog, or fish. I enjoyed taking care of the neighborhoods pets growing up as well as house sitting for them. When I was bored I used to ask the neighbors if I could walk their dogs just to get outside! I love animals in all shapes and sizes. Currently I work full time from home. I have a pretty flexible schedule for when I can take a lunch break or leave the house for an extended amount of time. Come March I will be self employed and will have open availability! There is no fence around our home, ideally outside time will be on a leash or long lead rope for running. We can do long walks down the road, a quick car ride to the beach, or walk in the state land across the street from my home. “Mari Jane was an amazing home away from home for Chico! He got to meet chickens, goats, and other dogs while I was out of town for five days on vacation. As soon as I got him into the car after pick up, he fell right asleep! I could tell he had a great time. A few days he had developed a bit of a limp, and Mari Jane kept me super updated on his progress. He doesn't know when to quit and it turns out he just was having too much fun on the farm! He was perfectly fine by the time I picked him up. I will definitely go with Mari Jane again in the future, thank you again!!”

About: I’ve owned multiple dogs during my life and come with 11 years in dog care expertise. From puppies to seniors and from small to large dogs. I can provide you and your furry friend with walks, visits, baths, boarding, and overnight care. I’m a teacher and am currently off for the summer, so my schedule is completely flexible to best suit you and your furry friend’s needs! I have a fenced in patio and a friendly puppy to keep your furry friend company. I’m also able to accommodate any crating needs if necessary.
About: I love taking care of and playing with dogs as I have had 5 throughout my life! I am recommended by my friends to others. I am currently a student at GVSU and I work at Butterworth hospital in Grand Rapids on the weekends. I am available to dog/cat sit Monday-Thursdays. Right now I live in an on campus apartment at GVSU and live 2 minutes away from a huge dog park. During the summer, I will be at home with a fenced in backyard in a very safe environment. I have 4 dogs and 1 cat at home. When I move out, I will be living in an apartment that is pet friendly with a dog park!
About: I don’t have “professional” pet sitting experience but I do have personal experiences. My grandmother had puppies that I helped caring for them. She had two shih Tzu puppies that I loved like they were my own. Sadly, they both passed away around the same time. I know how important it is to take care of your pets because pets are more like family than animals. So, I hope that you will trust me enough to take care of your family. I will listen to what you need to me to do. I can be flexible and go beyond the call of duty if necessary. I am open to learning whatever is necessary to be a great caretaker. I hope you choose me. “Ashley was amazing this weekend with our Greenley girl! We were able to go camping and not worry about bit about her having the best care. Ashely sent pictures, and videos of Greenley happily laying on her couch, enjoying a walk or playing with her dog. She settled in and had a great weekend.
