“Megan was great with Cassius. He stayed with her for four nights over Thanksgiving while we went out of town. She made him feel at home and went out of her way to make sure that he was comfortable and learned his personality pretty quickly. Megan is very sweet and able to handle our 95lb toddler with patience. She was able to give him medicine, take him for a walk, and play lots of fetch in her fenced in backyard. About: New to Rover, but not to pet care! I have a deep-rooted love for animals, sparked by my childhood on my families farm. Growing up surrounded by many animals, including dogs, taught me the importance of nurturing and understanding each pet’s unique personality. I enjoy discovering the funny quirks and individual traits that make each dog special. With hands-on experience caring for many dogs through various stages of life and health issues, I’ve developed skills in managing their unique needs and behaviors. I know that every pet requires a tailored approach, and my background equips me to provide the highest level of care. I’m also familiar with basic pet first aid and emergency procedures, allowing me to act quickly and effectively if necessary. My greatest strength is my patience and understanding, which help me build trust with each animal- ensuring they always feel safe and comfortable when in my care. Additionally, I know being away from your fur babies can be stressful and I’m very good at communicating by providing updates through pictures, videos, or text messages if that’s something you’d like! Typically, I work part time on Mondays, Thursdays, and Fridays, which gives me plenty of time throughout the week to spend quality time with your pups! Whether it’s a fun and energizing walk, a cozy check in, or some extra playtime and cuddles, I’ll make sure your pets feel happy, comfortable, and truly cared for while you’re away. I love getting to know each pet’s unique personality and making their time with me enjoyable, safe, and full of attention, because they deserve nothing less! When at your home, I care for your pet based on the information and preferences you share with me. I’m very respectful of your space and make sure to leave your pup happier than I found them! At my home, I have two friendly, lazy cats who can keep your dog company. I again follow the information and preferences you provided to keep your pet comfortable. My apartment has a green yard in the back, which is perfect for potty breaks and a bit of outdoor time. While it’s unfenced, I’ll keep your dog leashed at all times and keep a close eye on all outdoor activities. As long as they are trained, I’ll take your pup on daily neighborhood walks or even to the park if they’re a more active breed. Here, pets are treated like family, with full access to snuggles on the furniture if that’s something they’d enjoy. I also keep pet parents updated with photos, videos, or messages, so you’ll always know how they’re doing!

About: I can administer medication, I’m known as a cat whisperer in my hospitals. I have a patience for cats, they are independent free spirits that secretly love to give and demand love. I’m all for it!

About: I grew up catsitting my neighbor's kitties, playing, feeding, and changing litter while friends were away. I have one cat of my own, and live with my parents who have 2 barn kitties. I am experienced caring for kittens and older cats as well as cats who are super shy. I will follow your cat's lead so they can be comfortable with me in their space. I know how different cat sitting can be to dog sitting, since cats take longer to warm up to new people and environments, I won't rush them :)
“April did a wonderful job watching our 2 cats. Our home was left exactly as we left it and my cats were both very happy. She also sent several photos after each daily check-in, which was a wonderful addition to the visits.”

About: I’ve had cats in my life for years and currently have cats of my own, so I completely understand that every cat has their own personality, routine, and very strong opinions! Some want all the cuddles and attention, while others are happiest when you simply keep their food bowl full and respect their personal space. I’m comfortable with feeding, fresh water, litter box cleaning, playtime, basic medications, and keeping an eye out for any changes in behavior while you’re away. I’m also happy to spend some extra time just hanging out with them so they have company even if that means we sit on opposite sides of the room and pretend we aren’t friends yet. My goal is to keep your cat’s routine as normal and stress free as possible while you’re gone. And of course, I’ll send plenty of pictures and updates so you know exactly how your tiny roommate is doing! 🐱🐾

“Taylor was amazing! Yesterday was my first time using Rover and I was a little nervous about my pup being home alone... Taylor called me at work (per my request) so that I could go over how to get into my house, etc. and she calmed my nerves too :) when she got there, he had tore up his mattress pad in his kennel- she cleaned it up so that he couldn’t eat it. She then walked him, took pictures for me and played with him enough to tire him out for a bit. She was so good with him anc it was so appreciated! ❤️❤️”

“Brittany was prompt and reliable. She did not seem at all turned off by my two dogs’ energy level and ‘enthusiasm’ (including jumping) when she met them.
