“Stephanie was not only very nice, but also knowledge & caring. I have 4 cats from 14 yrs to 3 yrs Everything I needed done during my 3 day absence was done exactly as I requested. She took extra time with my youngest, feral born cat that was hiding during her visits. I came home to clean litter boxes and fed cats. I just moved here from Idaho and when I tried to get a booking on Rover my information indicated that I wasn't living in Michigan. Because of that 2 other sitters declined my request. Stephanie messaged me regarding the discrepancy and once that wrong information (totally a mistake made by the Rover site) was resolved, she accepted my request.”

About: I've been taking care of pets for over 10 years. My own pets have been cats, dogs, rabbits, mice, horses, and most recently rabbits. Through these various pets I've learned to work through potty training issues, giving medications, getting older pets out and about for walks, and much more. I've also helped friends and family with their various pets. I have walked and taken care of dogs of all sizes and personalities, bathed cats that hated it with every fiber of their being, and even taken on the daunting tasks of brushing dogs teeth and clipping nails. Every pet family I work with is different and I enjoy working to find the what works for them. I currently have a hybrid schedule that often has me working from wherever I can set my laptop down.So whether your dog needs a quick walk or you need house-sitting for a week I can make it happen. When it comes to pet care I come to you. As long as you let me know your about your pet and their needs I'm happy to stick with normal routines to make sure they feel as comfortable as possible. Whether that's putting on a fun dog movie for your cat or making sure your dog is securely in their kennel I want you and your pets to have the best experience possible.

“Sara was absolutely awesome! I was really nervous having a pet/house sitter for the first time and also traveling for the first time since my twin kittens had been diagnosed with kidney disease. Sara totally assuaged all of that the minute I met her in our meet and greet. My travel schedule was a bit funky and she took everything in stride meeting up for keys etc. She sent me photos every day and communicated a ton! I will absolutely recommend her 1,000,000% and I definitely will be using her amazing services again.”

About: I worked at a free-roam high volume cat lounge for a year, where I lead a team of volunteers to take care of all the cats alongside me. Daily, I handled cats to administer oral medications, give fluids and vaccinations when needed. Very experienced and confident with handling cats of all temperaments, even with nail trimming!

Perfect for high energy dogs - Quinnesec

“I was very happy with Doug dog sitting. My dog Mabel was very nervous and he made her feel welcome. He was flexible on what time I picked her up and the layout of his home and backyard where Mabel could play was nice. I would recommend Doug as a dog sitter.”

“My young pup Stella spent the day in Lindsey's care. She sent updates and photos throughout the day. Stella was well-cared for and was one happy pup at the end of the day! Would definitely recommend.”

“Sara was awesome! My 3 month old puppy spent all day with her and had a great time! Sara is very communicative and conscientious, she sent me updates throughout the day and put me at ease as a new dog mom. Looking forward to many more visits to Sara’s house!”

Adventure-ready dog walkers - Quinnesec
About: I grew up with a beagle as a kid and he was loved up until the very end. I now have a beagle and lab. After undergrad, I began overnight sitting in my home for family friends. I have experience with small, medium, and large dog breeds including those with medical needs. I’ve had overnight stays up to 2 weeks and one experience of deskunking! 😅 I’m happy to walk, feed, play, and watch all dogs. I’m available during the week early mornings, lunch time potty breaks, and after work on days I’m out of the home. Otherwise, I’m available more frequently on days I work from home. I am not accepting overnight pets in the home as I rent my current space and we have our two dogs on the lease only. I am happy to watch in client home, walk, or stay at your place!

About: I am a lifelong dog owner with my current pets being two high-energy border collies. I have over two years of experience as a house/dog/cat sitter with 5+ families who have trusted me to watch over and care for their pets and houses for extended periods of time. I am comfortable with dogs of all sizes, ages, and energy levels. I am moving to Montana in early July but until then, my schedule is open most days! I am able to take jobs in the morning, afternoon, and evening. There are occasional variations in my schedule that may not show on my calendar. I will treat your pets as if they are my own. My number one priority is keeping them safe, happy, and healthy. I will always make sure their needs are met!
About: I’ve volunteered with dogs since I was 11, lived with large dogs my since childhood, and have been working jobs in animal welfare for 2.5 years. Working in a pet hospital, dog rescue facility, and a county shelter gave me a lot of experience and professional training with handling dogs of all sizes safely, especially anxious dogs. I was trained to administer daily medications and even fluids as needed. My daily tasks were feedings, cleanings, walking, and playing with our dogs. I am free Mondays and Wednesdays. I work from 8am - 6pm at the shelter on Tues, Thurs, Fri and Sat. I would love to house sit for a night or two if this schedule can work around you and your animals. While checking up on your dogs, I can play with them until they’re tired out and teach them basic tricks and commands. I have experience with anxious and reactive dogs and will treat your pet with compassion, using positive reinforcements. I’m a patient pet sitter and would love to spend time with your dogs and cats. I’m a photographer, ask me about bonus pet portraits!
