About: Lifetime pet owners of cats and dogs alike, Maeve and Jason have shared decades of pet-sitting duties for friends and family and all that entails from crate training to medication administration. We have flexible schedules, reliable transportation with dog seatbelts, a large wrap around fully fenced-in yard, and several forested acres with private nature trails to share with your best friend. Maeve is a WFH graphic designer and Jason is a self-employed carpenter living with our two sweet velcro cavalier king charles spaniels — Cricket & Disco. We have very flexible schedules with lots of love and attention to spare. We can easily break away for walks and drop-ins. We live across from Eagle Lake with a large wraparound fully fenced-in yard overlooking 15 private forested acres with trails for leashed nature walks. We have oodles of experience walking, camping, hiking, swimming, and playing with dogs in all environments and elements. Crates and gates are available if your best friend needs their space, but everybody is allowed to make themselves at home. We have lots of cozy nooks and beds. We work to ensure smooth introductions. Our home is very dog-friendly but to that end, kept very clean. We do tick checks and our girls are always up to date with their vaccinations and preventative meds. JIC, we have reliable transportation and are not far from Michiana Veterinary Hospital. We are also able to drive to your preferred vet.

About: I’ve had dogs and cats all my life. I’ve potty trained them, taught them how to walk with a leash, taught them tricks like sit stay and say your prayers, and too many to say. I will spoil your fur babies like I do mine. You would never have any worries while you’re away they will be in good hands. I love and enjoy being around dogs and or cats. I’d send you videos and or pictures of your fur baby. Some owners have their fur babies on a schedule if so I will do the same. if there is a park nearby I’d probably take them there. But first I would ask the owner what they would like me to do sense it is their pet. I'm retired so I'm flexible. My routine is the fur babies routine. I'd like to keep it that way for them, so I would need to know. I have a fenced in yard, not big for big dogs tho. They will be fed, played with and cuddled. If they need to be caged I have a large one for their comfort.

“I was very pleased with my dog’s adventure. At our meet and greet Remington was very comfortable with Jeremiah. On the day I dropped him off, Remington had no issues with my leaving and as I drove away he and Jeremiah were off taking a walk. When I picked my dog up, he seemed very relaxed and appeared to have enjoyed his stay. Jeremiah is flexible with drop off and pick up times, which is so helpful when traveling. I have no hesitation in leaving my dog with Jeremiah in the future.”

“Absolutely amazing experience. Lisa and her family are super sweet and welcoming, and they live on a beautiful piece of property. I honestly could not imagine Zeus having a better time anywhere else. Lisa was very responsive and communicative the whole stay, sent updates, and went above and beyond with anything I needed. She was really understanding about my schedule and the fact that I tend to run late, and never made me feel bad about it. Zeus clearly enjoyed being there and was comfortable from the start. I can’t say enough about how well she took care of Zeus. I would happily trust Lisa to watch Zeus any time and for as long as needed. I couldn’t recommend her more – just a lovely family and an awesome sitter.”
