“This was my first experience leaving one of my dogs with a pet sitter. Before we would occasionally board our dogs with the vet. This was an excellent experience though and I prefer it over boarding with the vet. Rodney was great with my 2 1/2 month old puppy. His dogs, especially Murphy, played so well with Leroy. My little guy loves that big golden retriever. My puppy also came back a few lbs heavier and a bit taller, showing he was well cared for the whole time. When I wasn't going to be back in town until a bit later, Rodney was very accommodating about allowing my mum and sister to pick up the puppy for me. Overall it was an excellent experience and I highly recommend him.”

“Fantastic experience with Coddy and Byron! Our 1-ish year old Austrlian shepherd, Wes, stayed with them for a portion of July. Coddy and Byron were very responsive to messages, sent updates (and pictures/videos of Wes), and genuinely, thoughtfully incorporated Wes into their home for 2 weeks. Two weeks! We miscalculated Wes's food and, when it become apparent it would run out a few days before, Coddy and Byron rationed and mixed it with their own dogs' food in a way that didn't negatively affect Wes's digestion. If that's not top-tier dog watching, we really don't know what is. Would highly recommend and would book again!”

About: I have been pet sitting since I was 15 for family and friends. I have watched all types of dogs, large, small, young, and old as well as some cats. I am an active person that enjoys exercise but I also love nature so I can go at whatever speed your dog prefers. I am a graduate student at MSU so I keep a busy schedule, but I will always find time for your pets and treat them as my own! Although I am not certified I have trained my own dogs and can adjust to whatever level of obedience you are looking to attain. I also volunteer at an animal sanctuary so I have experience with all kinds of animals besides just cats and dogs. I am a graduate student so I do have classes during the fall and spring term and MSU employs me part-time as a teaching assistant. I do have availability inside and outside the working hours of the day depending on the day of the week during classes. I am a detail-oriented person and will care for your pets exactly the way you would in your own home. I also will treat your home as if it was my own and clean up after myself and your pets, and make sure your house is safe and secure while you are gone. About: Your dog will be my dog while in my care. I am a huge animal lover who has always made my animals a part of my family, not just an animal. Starting May 4th, I will be training for a new job. My training hours will be 8-5, if you can work around those time please reach out. My yard is not fenced so your babies will only be outside when I am out there with them, leashed if required. I do not agree with leaving a dog alone all night when they are already seeing a difference with their family being gone. If they are dog friendly they would have socialization as well with my friends and family dogs so they could get some interaction and extra exercise! I currently work from home so frequent potty breaks or administration of medication would not be an issue. We would be one big happy family all day long My dogs are not crated when I leave the house but do have an extra large one if required for your baby. If you need me to do a drop in visit, my hours for availability are in the air for the next couple of weeks until I am given my new works hours.

About: Absolutely adore animals and would love to get to know yours! I have 4 rescues as well as a service pup, including a disabled rescue from an Afghanistan war zone so I’m more than willing to work with animals with special needs. I have a lot of experience from my own animals and have dog sitting experience as well. I am currently a student and due to the pandemic mostly work online so my availability is pretty open. As I have dogs of my own I would not be able to stay the night with your animal but will have at least 6-7 Hours a day to spend completely with your pup. I would prefer watching the animal at your home as there are 5 other animals here but if needed I am equipped with two area fences in my back yard as well as leads and ability to separate the other dogs in my house without worry.

My typical shift is 8:00-4:30pm M-F. I have open availability on weekends to provide housesitting! If you are looking for constant care (pet cannot be left alone for 4 hours or more), I am happy to provide that however, I do charge a constant care rate if during the work week as I will need to take those days off and I will need to recoup lost salary. For constant care pets, I do require at least a month’s notice ahead of time so I can get that time off to accommodate. I will never take a sit if my work schedule cannot accommodate it—your pet’s care and safety is extremely important to me. I will work with you to decide if I am the right fit for your pet’s needs and routine. Nothing is worse than upsetting your pet’s routine and comfortability! I now offer drop-visits as well! This is great for people who might need someone to check in your fur baby a couple times a day but does not need around-the-clock needs. I am happy to drop in before work (8am) and can drop by after work! If you’re someone who works longer shifts, this is perfect for you! I am comfortable crating your pet if requested but they are also more than welcome to share a bed with me if they are used to sleeping with you! If you have an unfenced yard, I will keep them on leash at all times. If you have a fenced yard, I will stay out and monitor them until they are ready to come inside. Doors will be locked at all times whether I am in the home with your pet or if I’m at work. If you have any home-alarm systems, I will use them as well.

About: I’ve been taking care of dogs since I was 8, when I got my own puppy. With my family i have 2 dogs, a Beagle and a Puggle. Growing up, I also had a Yellow Lab. I have pet sat multiple times in the past few years, both overnight and daily check ins. I love dogs of all ages, breeds, and sizes, and treat all dogs I encounter as if they were my own. I have a very open schedule that allows for me to pet sit at any time throughout the day, and any day of the week. I would not be able to care for pets in my own home, only in client’s homes. I am willing to fulfill whatever needs are presented by each pet, whether that be getting to know them slowly to allow them to build trust, snuggling with them so they aren’t lonely while their owners are gone, or any other needs they may have.
About: I’ve owned numerous dogs in my life & have become my neighborhood dog walker because of it! I would love the opportunity to get to expand the community of doggies I see everyday. I am available to drop-in and/or walk your dog Monday through Thursday, between 10-4pm! I am also available to stay for up to an hour per visit! If I am dropping in, I make sure to follow the instructions given for each dog. This is a professional environment, so I don’t ever relax or get distracted from the pet.

If i was at your home, I would keep them in the fenced yard (if applicable) or walk them on the leash. About: Been around dogs since birth. I understand dogs better than I understand people. Trained my dogs to do basic stuff within first couple days of having them and won't have a problem doing the same with yours if wanted. Open to any dates at any time of the day. About: I have been pet sitting since I was 15 for family and friends. I have watched all types of dogs, large, small, young, and old as well as some cats. I am an active person that enjoys exercise but I also love nature so I can go at whatever speed your dog prefers. I am a graduate student at MSU so I keep a busy schedule, but I will always find time for your pets and treat them as my own! Although I am not certified I have trained my own dogs and can adjust to whatever level of obedience you are looking to attain. I also volunteer at an animal sanctuary so I have experience with all kinds of animals besides just cats and dogs. I would love to be able to assist you with any of the services I can provide for your furry friends! I am a graduate student so I do have classes during the fall and spring term and MSU employs me part-time as a teaching assistant. I do have availability inside and outside the working hours of the day depending on the day of the week during classes. In the summers, I currently work on research for MSU but have flexible scheduling to fit your pet care needs. I am a detail-oriented person and will care for your pets exactly the way you would in your own home. I also will treat your home as if it was my own and clean up after myself and your pets, and make sure your house is safe and secure while you are gone. This was an excellent experience though and I prefer it over boarding with the vet. Rodney was great with my 2 1/2 month old puppy. His dogs, especially Murphy, played so well with Leroy. My little guy loves that big golden retriever. My puppy also came back a few lbs heavier and a bit taller, showing he was well cared for the whole time. When I wasn't going to be back in town until a bit later, Rodney was very accommodating about allowing my mum and sister to pick up the puppy for me. “Fantastic experience with Coddy and Byron! Our 1-ish year old Austrlian shepherd, Wes, stayed with them for a portion of July. Coddy and Byron were very responsive to messages, sent updates (and pictures/videos of Wes), and genuinely, thoughtfully incorporated Wes into their home for 2 weeks. Two weeks! We miscalculated Wes's food and, when it become apparent it would run out a few days before, Coddy and Byron rationed and mixed it with their own dogs' food in a way that didn't negatively affect Wes's digestion. If that's not top-tier dog watching, we really don't know what is. Would highly recommend and would book again!”
