“If you’re fortunate enough to have the opportunity for Aunt Janelle to watch your pups, you absolutely should! She took our athletic, high energy dog on walks, played fetch, and spoiled him rotten with love and cuddles!! She sent photos and videos of Cody having a great time throughout his stay. It was easy to enjoy my trip knowing that Janelle was taking such great care of our fur son. I could go on for days about how she’s the best choice to watch your pup-from start to finish. She cares about the safety of every dog she watches and doesn’t accept pets that she doesn’t trust. Thank you so much for taking in our big baby boy and treating him like your own!!!”

“We highly recommend Skip and Mary! Blue is hard to win over and he was snuggling with them before the end of the first night. They are clearly dog lovers, and they are a perfect fit if your dog is used to having someone at home often, loves walks, snuggles, but is not comfortable around children. Thank you for taking such good care of Blue!”

“Alan was very positive. He sent pictures and comments, and he also was patient with our change in plans. We hope that he'll be able to watch Hershey again sometime because it was a great experience for our dog.”

“Maria took care of our dog when we had a last minute company thing. She made sure to ask questions, see if our dog needed anything special. She sent pictures and communicated with us. They took good care of our dog!”

“Mina did a great job. The meet and greet went well and she does plenty of pictures and videos multiple times a day. Our dog seemed to enjoy his time there as well! Would highly recommend.”

“Our labradoodle Targa was well taken care of by Oscar during his 3 day vacation. He was rested and happy when we picked him up and Oscar had provided a safe and fun environment, taken care of Targa's medications, and kept him happy and entertained while we were away.”

“Our dog Daisy had a great stay. We were sent photos and up dates periodically through out each day. She always looked happy, playing, eating or resting. She came home happy and healthy. We would absolutely recommend and book again!”

“Jayden and his wife Lisa are amazing dog sitters. I left my dog Buddy with them over two weeks while flying outside of the country. They we're very flexible and attentive to all of my requests, and promptly communicated any changes with him while in their care. Buddy and their dog Redford became fast friends and Buddy quite clearly loved spending time with their kids, making a bed out of their trampoline. It was so nice to get updates and see just how much fun they had with him. Buddy says hi and thanks again!”

“Rachel was fantastic! We booked a longer stay with short notice and she was super easy to work with and communicated great! I will certainly rebook in the future and when I need a sitter for my pups!”

“What a great experience! It was awesome traveling knowing I could trust Darcy and Daniel with my beloved boy. They gave him warm attention, thoughtful care during subzero temps, and kept me updated. My dog met them as strangers and left as friends. Highly recommend!”

“Zuri is an absolutely amazing puppy caregiver! She took care of our puppy for several days and treated her like one of her own. We got constant updates and pictures of our sweet girl. Any fears or unease was quickly put to rest after meeting Zuri. Summer enjoyed her stay and even missed her “second “ family when we picked her back up. I would recommend Zuri for boarding hands down! Her entire family was amazing. She is so kind, caring, professional and compassionate. We were blessed to find her. She is extremely knowledgeable about pets and is always willing to go the extra mile for you. We will definitely be back for as long as she will have us!”

“Juju enjoyed spending holidays with Tiffany and her family. All her dogs were not only friendly, but also well-trained. They were a great company for Juju. Tiffany sent me a couple of pictures everyday and kept me informed of how Juju was doing. Every member of her family seemed to know how to handle dogs. I did not have to worry about anything during my holidays. I’m sure Juju wants to go back to her place again. She is a great dog sitter.”

“Jennifer has been very professional and on the top of everything, including keeping me updated with pictures and sending me timely text updates. Her diligence and communication has been excellent.”

“So kind and accommodating! Piper had a great time with Deb and Malcomb! Thank you for taking care of piper while we traveled to a family reunion out of state. Knowing that piper was in a home environment with dog lovers made us feel at ease. Deb was very good at sharing pictures and keeping us updated daily on our Miss Piper. A+ experience. Will highly recommend and will use in future. This was our very first Rover.com experience and it was good! Thank you!!”

“Ariana is the only person outside of my own mom who I can leave my Viva with and drive away without the slightest worry- knowing that she will be happy, loved, and so well taken care of. This was our second stay with Ariana and her sweet pup Yogi and I always love getting picture updates throughout the day of lots of play time and cuddles. Viva had some tummy problems during the stay and Ariana went above and beyond to take phenomenal care of her and calm my anxiety while I was across the country. We are so lucky to know her!”

“As always Birdie goes above and beyond what is expected. My Maggie gets so excited when we pull up in front of her house. Birdie takes the time to play with her and allows her to snuggle next to her when she wants to. She is so happy there. I feel she is in the best care.”

“What can I say about Kristie? She was incredible with my pup. He’s a bit of a finicky boy, and this was his first experience not at a kennel while dad was away. After asking great questions to get an understanding m, we did a meet and greet and Reggie seemed to enjoy, so we went ahead with the booking. Throughout my 7 day trip, I got plenty of updates and pics (peep the gallery). Kristie took the time to get to know the pup, checked in with me to get insights, and tailored her interactions and expectations to match my goober’s needs. 10/10 recommend, and hope to rebook whenever I need a sitter!”

“Sadey done a great job dropping in to take care of our kitty George for a week while we were away. I definitely recommend Sadey to anyone needing a pet sitter, we received pictures every day making us comfortable that our kitty was well cared for.”

“We had Caitlin provide cat tending services over a period of three days to some indoor and several outdoor cats at our home in the country. We were particularly drawn to Caitlin because of her capability to give injections as we have one older cat who has been diagnosed as diabetic and needs insulin injections. She is very personable and attentive to the many details about individual cats. This was the first time we have used Rover and are very pleased with Rover and the services rendered by Caitlin. The notices of arrival, time on site, and pictures are all very reassuring! We were surely use her again!”

“Carole was absolutely fantastic! She has a large yard with lots of space and places to explore. I can tell she really enjoys animals and caring for pets. While this was just for a few hours, I'd definitely feel comfortable leaving my dog for longer stays. I felt very at ease leaving my dog in her care. Will definitely rebook if I'm in her area again. 5stars!”

“Maria was so great. Got many updates. Even a nice quick one after i left because Molly was a little timid to have me leave, she can be shy at first. I was sad to leave her on her first doggie daycare. But Marie made everything great, she shared multiple pictures that she warmed up and went on walkies and she seemed to have a great time. I hope to make this a weekly occasion! It was nice to be stress free at work.”

About: I’ve worked professionally as a horse trainer, wildlife rehabilitator, zookeeper, animal cruelty investigator and farm animal sanctuary manager. As of 2026 I now offer sitting and boarding for dogs and cats in my home or yours. In my home, your dog or cat would have the space exclusively to themselves as there are no other animals or kids in the house. I can also service horse farms including feeding, cleaning and overnight stays. I know how much trust it takes to leave your animals with someone else, and I don't take that lightly. I guarantee that your animals will feel safe and comfortable with me, and you'll rest easy knowing they're in experienced hands. I look forward to working with you! I work mostly from home, which allows me to be present and attentive throughout the day. I’m able to provide regular potty breaks, exercise, outdoor time in my fenced yard, and companionship without long absences. I focus on creating a safe, calm, and comfortable experience based on each pet’s personality and needs. In my home, dogs have a peaceful environment and access to my fully fenced backyard for supervised outdoor time. Because I work mostly from home and don’t have other animals right now, I’m able to give them consistent attention, companionship, and a relaxed setting. For cats, I have a private bedroom available for those who may feel uneasy at first or need their own space. The room includes a cat tower, cozy cubbies, and a full bed with soft blankets arranged into comfortable nesting spots. This gives them a quiet place to decompress and adjust at their own pace, while still receiving attentive care. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I follow their normal feeding, exercise, and care routine so things feel familiar and low stress. I’m respectful of both the pet and the home, and I’m attentive to details like energy level, mood, and overall wellbeing. I also provide regular updates so you know your pet is comfortable and doing well.

About: Hi there! We accept small to medium-sized dogs (20 pounds max or less) and typically care for no more than 4 dogs at a time. Under our careful supervision, your pup can interact and play freely, enjoying both the house and our spacious, clean, secure and fenced-in backyard. They are not confined to kennels or cages, and can sleep wherever they feel comfortable, whether in the open or in their own crate. We have many nooks and crannies for the pups to relax in and many soft, clean blankets and pillows. They will have ample time outdoors for fresh air, exercise and fun (weather permitting), and the rest of course spent indoors, having fun, resting, playing games (we have many many puzzles and snuffle mats) and occasionally having a yummy, owner approved treat (we don't want upset tummies). They are regularly let out for potty breaks and fresh air every 1 to 2 hours, and never left unattended. WHAT WE WOULD LOVE TO KNOW: We understand each dog has their own personality, likes, dislikes, and temperament. ****A meet-n-greet is required prior to the start of any service.**** -Unless arranged by special request during the week, they are usually on Saturdays and Sundays and by appointment. -Please allow enough time prior to your reservation to arrange for the meet-n-greet. LAST MINUTE REQUESTS: We will do our best to accommodate those in tight spots, but generally we only reserve this option for established clients only. VACCINATIONS: Please ensure your pup is up-to-date with vaccinations before boarding to protect them and our little ones from illnesses. PHOTOS: We know how important peace of mind is, so we send consistent, informative photos/updates/videos of your little one so that you know what they are up to and so that you can rest assured that they are doing well! LOCATION: We are located right outside of Ann Arbor - perfect spot near highways and shops! MEDICATION: Yes, we do provide, however, we do not provide service to pets that are sick/ill/recovering/ or need medical attention during their stay. We do provide service to pets that are in good health but require maintenance medications, with vets' approval. FIRST AID/CPR: As of November 2024, we are actively working on finding a reputable organization to refresh our human and pet first aid and CPR certification! ABOUT OUR LITTLE ONES: Archie and Roxy are our two adorable, little terriers who love to have fun - they would be co-hosting with me. My husband works from home, so there is generally always someone home. Either my husband, who works from home, or I will be on hand to supervise the dogs at all times. Ensuring your dogs' safety is my highest priority. A LITTLE ABOUT US: My husband and I are super responsible, incredibly loving dog parents. I was raised with dogs, and other animals, as was my husband (who grew up on a farm here in Michigan). Combined, we have closer to 20 plus years of experience in taking care of our own furbabies, those of our neighbors, and various other kinds of pets. We've been there, worried and stressed out over having to find someone trustworthy who will treat and love our little ones with the same level of care and concern that we do! Being super loving, very protective, and knowledgeable pet parents ourselves, we know full well how stressful it can be to rely on someone else. We are great communicators and continuously strive to educate ourselves and learn about the best new dog products, services, treats, etc. Please rest assured that we will do our best to answer your questions and concerns. It's always a joy to connect with fellow pet parents who are just as devoted and loving to their family members as we are to ours! My schedule tends to be flexible. My husband works from home as well- it’s a joy to have little ones running around! There is always someone at home with a watchful eye - your pup will never be left alone. The importance of temperament cannot be overstated; if there are particular household rules to increase the comfort of your furbaby, I will follow them to the letter. I would like to know if he/she has any medical issues, special needs, etc. A veterinarian's contact information and instructions would be required if medication is needed - this of course also applies if they have special dietary needs, allergies, etc.

It's a huge stress relief to have someone so caring taking care of my dogs while I'm away. Not only does she take them for walks, but she makes sure their water is filled and gives them lots of love before she leaves (with treats and ball time). Nicole also messages me with any concerns about my dogs, including checking in to make sure the length of the walk isn't too much for my older dog. About: Ever since I can remember I’ve had a huge passion for animals. Because of this, as soon as I could work I got various experiences caring for, and working with animals through professional pet sitting, working at a large and small breed petting farm, working at a dog kennel and daycare, and attending a dog grooming school. Through these experiences I’ve had years of hands on training learning to monitor the emotions, health, and overall well-being of each pet (old or young) that I’ve came across. I would love the opportunity to have you trust me in caring for your furry friend, and promise to do whatever I can to give both you and your pet the best possible pet care experience! Currently, pet care is what I base my daily schedule on, so your pup is my top priority! In the late spring, summer, and early fall months I do work part time. If given enough time in advance I am able to set my own schedule, meaning that I can schedule this job around the needs of your fur babies ! To ensure the trust and safety of your pet, I will always take EVERY safety precautions that I can. Before each pet care service I make sure to study all the information I can about your pet to make sure I can give them a personalized safety plan, as well as a caring and stress free environment. Also, I am dog CPR and emergency medicine certified.
About: I have had pets since I was 3 years old . I love cats and dogs . I can potty train your puppy and play with them . Also I love to go on walks are the neighbor with my fur babies and go hiking . I currently work a full time job . But I can make time anytime work after 4 pm until June . Then after school lets out I am very flexible with my hours . I have a fenced in yard for my fur babies. For my clients I will go by there rules they want me to follow for their pets.
About: I have taken care of dogs all my life practically but I have been doing it as a job since I was 16 years old. When I was 16 years old and could drive I started doing at home dog care in my hometown for people who needed dogs sitters when they went of out town. I have always grown up with a dog in the house. From the time I was 5 to age 21 my family and I had 6 male dogs and a litter of 6 puppies over that span of 16 years. I now have my own dog which is a male golden retriever. I have a lot of experience with training puppies. I have done a lot of hunting with dogs over the years so that has been some of my favorite training to do. I have cared for dogs of all ages, qualities, breeds, and sizes. I love being around dogs period! Pet care fits into my schedule very well! I work from home and travel so when I am working from home I am able to do pet care many times throughout the day and even host pets over night when I am not out of town for work travel. I care for pets in my home and in client's homes to the highest level of care possible. I put the dog first in every matter possible and I really enjoy doing activities or attention to dogs that they really enjoy. I like to say I can think like a dog and I can read their mind which helps me understand what makes them happy and how they want to be cared for. I always do what's best for the dogs safety and health and follow all pet owner instructions given about their dog.

“Katie was wonderful for our two golden retrievers. Nice fenced in yard and I feel they were spoiled from the pictures she sent. We feel they might be expecting this treatment at home too, which we reminded them that their trip to the spa was over and back to the real world! Ha. We could not have been more pleased and would recommend her to anyone. Thank you so much Katie, you are awesome!”

“This is the third time that Laura and Manuel have watched our two pups and they are beyond amazing. We knew that the dogs were having the best time and were very well taken care of. They sent us pictures and updates throughout our trip and are always responsive.”

“Logan and Ellie were nothing but amazing dog sitters for my dog. My dog struggles with really bad anxiety and they made sure the keep a close eye on her and had amazing patience and understanding than anyone I’ve seen. They kept me updated all the time and made did an amazing job of communicating any concerns or asking questions. They were knowledgeable in how to properly care for dogs and I would recommend them to anyone looking for a sitter. Rosemary seemed very satisfied and that makes me satisfied, she’s not an easy dog to care for so anyone who can handle her has my respect and appreciation”

“Coddy and Byron are amazing, they take such good care of Baxter when he comes! We never worry when we are gone. We would recommend them to everyone! Thank you guys, see you next time!”
