Basic training is eye contact, leash & buddy walking. I provide one on one time for the dogs each daily. I make sure no dog feels left out. In the summer months their last night of boarding they get a special walk to the ice cream store to enjoy a pup cup & extra one on one time. On weekends in the summers. I am outside most days . The dog/s can enjoy ice bowls, kiddie pool, water sprinklers and shade in the backyard. In the summer I offer water play daily! They have free will to come in & out of the house into the fenced in yard all day! In the fall & winter months the dogs can enjoy outside time by a warm outdoor doggie bonfire. There are areas they can romp in the leaves & explore. I also incorporate daily walks weather permitting. On colder days or rainy days we have a rainy paw day. If the dogs are open to it they can enjoy some doggy stretches, Spaw services such as coconut oil rubs on their paw pads, homemade doggie treats, and dog related movies and cuddles!

From learning patience with young dogs at the age of 5 weeks old, to attending to a 14 -year-old dog, I have open-handedly experienced what it is like dealing with dogs of all ages. I have also dealt with the sassy teenager phase from both dogs and cats. When they are bored, they will make it known. The biggest take I have learned from taking care of dogs and cats is that they won’t always be on your timeline. You have to be extremely patient and take time to train them and be there for them. I’m currently working part-time Monday 9am-5pm, and every other Tuesdays and Thursdays from 3pm-7pm. I am going to school but I mainly take online classes, so I’ll have plenty of time to give your pets the attention they need. My schedule is flexible and my boyfriend also lives with me and helps me so your pet won’t get bored! He’s home during the periods I am out so overall my schedule is free. I have a fenced in mini pet park next to my apartment. Your furry companion will get all of the exercise he/she needs! My apartment is very cozy and safe, only smaller pets are allowed so there won’t be any issue with other pet owner neighbors.

About: In 2019, I started my journey foster raising puppies for PAWS with a Cause, an organization that custom trains service dogs. I raised 4 PAWS dogs, keeping them from 8 weeks to a year old. My first 2 actually became certified service dogs! In between fostering, I also raised 3 keeper puppies of my own. I have a female 5 year old lab, a female 2 year old golden, and a 1 year old male chocolate lab. Safe to say I'm addicted. I work remotely which gives me the flexibility to take my dogs out as they need. I go into the office on Tuesdays for a full day, however, I am able to take a long lunch if needed to take dogs out. I have a fenced yard and 3 friendly dogs at home. I have crate-trained dogs. I have taken my own babies to countless dog training classes, picking up a lot of knowledge of dog behavior.

In my client’s home, I respect their space and follow all instructions closely from feeding schedules and walk times to any special care needs. If I’m caring for a pet in my own home, I make sure they have a cozy, safe space to relax. I keep a clean, pet-friendly environment and offer plenty of attention, walks, and play throughout the day. About: I’ve had dogs for most of my life and currently care for two of my own, so I’m very familiar with daily routines like feeding, walks, playtime, cleanup, and giving pets lots of attention and affection. I also help care for my sister’s cat when needed. What sets me apart is that I have experience caring for a senior dog, including giving oral medication, joint supplements, and applying eye and ear medication as needed. I’m also comfortable teaching basic tricks and engaging dogs mentally through training and play. I’m comfortable with dogs of different sizes and energy levels and understand how important it is for pets to feel safe, comfortable, and cared for while their owners are away. I’m very responsible, reliable, and patient, and I always treat every pet like my own. Pet care fits easily into my routine since I currently work part-time and have a flexible schedule. I’m available for walks, drop-in visits, and pet sitting on most weekdays, as well as weekends. I’ve grown up around dogs and currently have two dogs of my own, so caring for pets is already part of my daily life. I’m used to feeding schedules, walks, playtime, and keeping a consistent routine for pets. I prioritize making pets feel safe, comfortable, and at home while their owners are away. I have experience with crate training and can easily crate dogs if needed, as well as follow any specific routines or instructions you provide. I currently have two friendly dogs, so I’m familiar with managing multiple pets in a calm and controlled environment. I always make sure pets are supervised, cared for, and treated like family.

“Ellen was absolutely fantastic taking care of my 7 month old puppy. JJ was staying with her for an extended amount of time and she still kept me updated with pictures and comments on a daily basis. Even as JJ is still in training, Ellen was extremely patient and still made things very easy for me when I was gone. There was also almost always one or more dogs there at any given time to keep JJ company. Her fenced in backyard is an added bonus as all dogs staying with her have free range to explore and run around. I will 100% be booking again in the near future! Nothing but praise for Ellen!”
