“Was in town for the weekend and my dog couldn’t stay with me at my hotel but it was fine because she was in great hands with Nicholas!! She is an Akita and she is a rescue so that can be a lot to handle but not for him: he even got her to socialize with his dog. So much so, that when I went to pick her up, they were still busy chasing each other around. Anyone who has dealt with a difficult breed or a rescue knows how much time is needed and I’m grateful!!Thanks again for helping out!”

About: I've cared for both healthy cats and cats with underlying conditions. For 10 years I had a cat that was diabetic that I had to administer insulin to. My current cat is 15 and requires a lot of love and attention.My cat Mabel is a rescued kitten/ cat almost 16 years ago on Halloween night while coming home from work , about 4 cars ahead of me something went flying out the window . I was able to stop and pull over due to not having other cars behind me . It was very cold that night and the sun was just starting to set . I got out of my car and looked around for a few minutes but didn't see anything and I got ready to leave I hear faint cry and I turned and looked down into some tall weeds and there she was , this poor malnourished kitten crying for help . To make a long story short I got her home and the day my wife and I took her to vet . They kept her for 3 days running ivs into her . We able to come and after 3 days thinking she wasn't going make it. And here she is still with after such a traumatic start to her life . I am very grateful to have Mabel as my best friend and wouldn't trade for the world . I love you very much Mabel .

About: Lifetime pet owners of cats and dogs alike, Maeve and Jason have shared decades of pet-sitting duties for friends and family and all that entails from crate training to medication administration. We have flexible schedules, reliable transportation with dog seatbelts, a large wrap around fully fenced-in yard, and several forested acres with private nature trails to share with your best friend. Maeve is a WFH graphic designer and Jason is a self-employed carpenter living with our two sweet velcro cavalier king charles spaniels — Cricket & Disco. We have very flexible schedules with lots of love and attention to spare. We can easily break away for walks and drop-ins. We live across from Eagle Lake with a large wraparound fully fenced-in yard overlooking 15 private forested acres with trails for leashed nature walks. We have oodles of experience walking, camping, hiking, swimming, and playing with dogs in all environments and elements. Crates and gates are available if your best friend needs their space, but everybody is allowed to make themselves at home. We have lots of cozy nooks and beds. We work to ensure smooth introductions. Our home is very dog-friendly but to that end, kept very clean. We do tick checks and our girls are always up to date with their vaccinations and preventative meds. JIC, we have reliable transportation and are not far from Michiana Veterinary Hospital. We are also able to drive to your preferred vet.

Love animals and miss fostering I did while in California. Your family member will be in caring hands who has years of experience with puppies and kittens who needed medication. “Andrew was GREAT! His whole house, from the inside out was extremely dog friendly. LiLi was a little apprehensive at first. He let me stay while he introduced all the dogs he was watching, one at a time, to LiLi. He made the transition easier for her by giving her (and all the other dogs) treats. Even though LiLi was nervous when I left, Andrew sent me a video of her happily playing with his dog, James, less than 5 minutes after I left. He took great pictures and videos too!! Definitely will use him again…tomorrow. 😊”

All 9 survived & were healthy!! I was also a "doula" for my mom's cats pregnancy & she let me massage her tummy & handle her babies right away also. It's a blessing to see & be a part of. “Luke and his family went above and beyond caring for our Yogi. They have a large fenced in backyard and a host of other animal friends that Yogi fell in love with. “Christina is wonderful. Nothing fazes her. We left our 13 year old mostly deaf, partially blind and very demanding King Charles spaniel with her for two weeks and she had no trouble at all. We had never boarded him before, so we were really happy to see photos of him running around her back yard and interacting with Christina’s dog and others. So good for him. Highly recommend!”

“Kevin and his wife Piper took exceptional care of my golden retriever, Point! From start to finish, I felt completely at ease knowing he was in such great hands. They went above and beyond by sending plenty of pictures, which really showed how comfortable and happy Point was during his stay, it meant so much to see him having such a great time. It’s clear they truly care about the dogs they watch and treat them like their own. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience, and I will most definitely be having them watch Point again. Lindsay‘s home is so welcoming and it’s obvious she takes great care for the dogs with a lot of mindfulness. Great communication and updates. It was more pricey than what I’m used to with her boarding/daycare but it was worth every penny! She even sent her home with a little gift and she was just so tickled pink with it.”
“Clara’s kennel was comfy and cool for our dog during a lake vacation that didn’t allow pups. The fenced in play area is perfect and Tock enjoyed running around with the other dogs at her house. She was also flexible on pickup times which helped us on our roadtrip.”

“Was in town for the weekend and my dog couldn’t stay with me at my hotel but it was fine because she was in great hands with Nicholas!! She is an Akita and she is a rescue so that can be a lot to handle but not for him: he even got her to socialize with his dog. So much so, that when I went to pick her up, they were still busy chasing each other around. Anyone who has dealt with a difficult breed or a rescue knows how much time is needed and I’m grateful!!Thanks again for helping out!”
