About: I have grown up with both cats and dogs, and then when I was able to I had two large breeds of my own for many years. Currently, we have a 2-yr old Bernese mountain dog and an older cat at home. I’m a teacher with a very open availability during summer and would love to fill it with taking care of your dogs - any breed but happy to provide confidence for high energy larger breeds. I’m a full-time teacher, so if you’re booking during the summer my availability is pretty widely open to meet your pets needs. If it’s during the school year, the weekends are there for loving your pet. I love to walk and exercise and am happy to take your dog for long walks as needed. Alternatively if they’re at my house, they can play with our Bernese Mountain Dog in the backyard for endless hours! Our yard is fenced in and the gates are always locked.

About: In college I worked as a professional pet sitter that was over 20 years ago. Since then I have pet sat off and on over the years in my home and in clients home. I have experience walking lots of dogs at one time. I have experience with horses and cows as well. I also have 5 years of professional pet grooming experience too. I have had family pets my entire life. I currently work part time as a substitute teacher and with my boyfriend at his lawn care business. I have a flexible schedule and will be able to fit pet sitting/ dog boarding/ dog walking in when needed. I have a large yard and live on quite a bit of property. I also have trails behind my house for walking. I don’t have a fenced in yard but I live off a quiet road. I will be putting a tie out for dogs that’s what I used in the past for my dogs .

About: I have been around animals since a very young age. I grew up having to care for my dogs, cats, horses, cows, and sheep! I participated in 4-H for 10 years showing both cattle and sheep. Throughout high school and college I worked at a doggy day care, that cared for both cats and dogs, either for day visits or overnight stays. I was responsible for making sure the animals were as comfortable as possible. This involved cleaning their kennels daily, feeding, and medications. Later, I worked as a veterinary assistant for 6 months. I have house/dog and cat sat for various friends and family members throughout the years as well. I am very flexible! About: I’ve grown up around dogs and cats and have experience caring for multiple pets in my home and around family pets. When caring for pets in my home, I provide a safe, clean, and calm environment for both dogs and cats. I make sure all doors and windows are secure and that the space is free from anything unsafe. I follow each pet’s routine closely, including feeding, walks for dogs, litter box care for cats, and any specific instructions from the owner. I always supervise pets while they are in my care and make sure they feel comfortable, relaxed, and at home. My goal is to treat every pet like my own and keep them safe and well cared for at all times.
About: I have grown up with both cats and dogs, and then when I was able to I had two large breeds of my own for many years. Currently, we have a 2-yr old Bernese mountain dog and an older cat at home. I’m a teacher with a very open availability during summer and would love to fill it with taking care of your dogs - any breed but happy to provide confidence for high energy larger breeds. I’m a full-time teacher, so if you’re booking during the summer my availability is pretty widely open to meet your pets needs. If it’s during the school year, the weekends are there for loving your pet. I love to walk and exercise and am happy to take your dog for long walks as needed. Alternatively if they’re at my house, they can play with our Bernese Mountain Dog in the backyard for endless hours! Our yard is fenced in and the gates are always locked.
“I reached out to Megan as a last minute booking for our two pups. She was able to take them and was even flexible when car trouble made us very late. She sent photos and updates of them while she had them which helped me feel better. Bella and Strawberry, both under 25 lbs, made themselves at home with 100+lb doggies. Bella is still young and had lots of fun playing with the big doggies. She’s also escaped from our house a couple times. Megan’s yard is very secure. I highly recommend Megan to take care of your pups!!!”
“Margalina, Joshua and their daughter were wonderful caretakers of our maltipoo for two weeks. I got adorable photos every day and regular communication about all the fun he was having becoming a farm dog (lots of great exercise). This was a last minute booking but we could not have been luckier. Our dog is a very social one but also clingy to his main caretaker, and Margalina quickly because that person! We will definitely use them again and can’t recommend them highly enough.”

“We had an amazing experience with Bob. Our puppy loved it from the first moment, as Bob's place feels so welcoming. Wooded trails right beyond the house with a walking access to the dog beach at lake Leelanau was great. Bob has sent pictures of dogs having fun at the beach. Overall freedom for the dogs to walk in and out to the fenced backyard, being welcomed on the couch was such a loving & carrying environment and perfect solution for our Golder Retriever, we will be there again and again when in Traverse City area!”
