This was our first time leaving our pup Leo with a babysitter, and she helped patiently guide us through the process, worked with us coming from our of state, and created such a welcoming environment that Leo eagerly zipped right into her home without a second glance at us. (OK, that part was a little disheartening, but clearly he was happy about it.) Six hours later we came by to collect him, expecting the eager welcome we get when coming home from work, but he seemed more like a kid being told "playtime is over, time to go home". Clearly he was in no rush to leave. Shant'a sent us some nice pics during his stay, and held to the routines we requested. No complaints! She's a delight and we hope to work with her again.”

I foster dogs through local rescues and currently have a medical recuse dog. Lastly, I also have the supplies to bathe (and velocity dry) and clip/grind nails. Baths are only offered to dogs with a short coat (not breeds that have long or thick hair that could get matted-ex: huskies). I work longer days during the week but have weekend availability. I can potty train, teach tricks, work on leash skills and door manners. I have toys treats and a big yard. My house is near the lake and we take them for walks multiple times a day. My neighbors are dog trainers or fellow pet lovers. If you need a safe place to keep your pup during work or over vacation we might be the right fit for you. I have an adopted Pitbull who is literally the friendliest dog in the entire world and great with other dogs. If your dog needs to be the only dog around our home might not be ideal. Just being honest. I want us both to have the best experience possible. Meet and greets are amazing to make sure we are on the same page and to make sure all parties involved get along as well. We only offer dog walks and drop ins locally as it's to costly to do that outside of the immediate area. If outside of the Monroe are please advise. My husband and I are both not working. We have all the free time to spend with your pet that you could want. We could do holidays weekends overnights. If there is something you'd like me to work on with your pup let me know! I have a large fenced in back yard in a dog friendly beach community. We take our dog on morning and evening walks with the addition of play time in the yard or inside if it's raining. “We hired Cindy to walk our pup while we were on vacation. I was a little worried because we have an anxious pup who can be easily overwhelmed and slow to warm up to people. Cindy was great with him! By 2 days in he was so excited for his walks he was waiting for her at the door when she arrived. She gave him the time he needed to stop and sniff which helps him decompress. Since he is part lab she really tapped into those personality traits by walking him near water and places where he could see, smell and hunt around for small animals. She was punctual and sent pictures as well as a map of his walks everyday. I will definitely hire her again!”

About: I have routinely watched my coworkers dogs while they are out of town, I have 3 dogs of my own and if I could I would take in every dog that needed a home, love and a warm spot to sleep. While I understand dogs are a product of their environment, I respectfully ask not to board Pit Bull terrier mix or Rottweiler breeds. Thank you. My pets have been treated with flea and tick prevention medication. I work Monday thru Wednesday and usually am home by 2. My boyfriend will stop by at lunch and let my 3 dogs out to potty. On my days off I am usually home. I have a fenced yard and 3 dogs of my home who are friendly and welcoming to new dogs. They are not crated but I can crate yours if you wish.
About: I’ve been around dogs my whole life. As a kid, we always had at least 3 dogs! As an adult, I adopted my own dog, a miniature daschund, who lived to be 16.5 years old, and I also had a cocker spaniel, who lived to be 12 years old. So I have plenty of experience with elderly dogs. I now have a 9 month old Labrador retriever. He has so much energy, loves to walk and play in the yard, and would LOVE to meet your furry friend. I work 4 days, and then I have 4 days off, so I’ll be available to help you and your pet out with whatever you need! I work 4 12 hour shifts, and then I’m off for 4 days. I will be available most of the days that I’m off. I may be busy on weekends though. I do daily walks with my own dog and work on training with him whenever I can. And we love to play fetch! I have a fenced yard for the dogs to run and play. I have a baby pool for the hot days, my dog loves water! I also have plenty of toys to play with.

HelIo fellow pet parents, I'm Nikki. I worked at a PetsHotel where I provided care to the pets for almost 3 years (walking, feeding, and medicating). I also am a pet owner of three dogs! I am comfortable providing care to pets with special needs. My dog is deaf so we use sign language with her. I'm a regular volunteer at DACC. I foster dogs through local rescues and currently have a medical recuse dog. Lastly, I also have the supplies to bathe (and velocity dry) and clip/grind nails. Baths are only offered to dogs with a short coat (not breeds that have long or thick hair that could get matted-ex: huskies). I work longer days during the week but have weekend availability. I'm willing to make accommodations for boarding pets. Message me for additional questions you may have. I will follow any rules and routines that you have created in regards to caring for your pet.
