“This was our first time leaving our dog with someone on rover. We previously left our dog at a boarding place and she didn’t do well at all, was sick didn’t eat etc. We decided leaving her with someone who would be with her most of the time would be best for us. We met with Ralph prior to her stay. He answered all of our questions and he asked good questions as well, so that he got to know her before taking care of her. Ralph watched our dog for 7 days and she did so well! He sent photos and updates and was quick to respond if we reached out for additional updates/questions. Ralph made sure he was home as much as possible for an entire week even saying he went grocery shopping prior to ensure he had groceries and wouldn’t have to leave her alone. We are so happy to have met someone who we can trust and know will take good care of our dog as if it’s his own. We definitely plan to use him again for our next vacation.”

About: I am now working part time giving me the flexibility to give your dog companionship and exercise while you are away! We can play outside in our large back yard. Our yard is not fenced, however we do have a boundary collar(invisible fence).Our home is in the country near a great dog park and Hartley making walks plesent and fun. I love brushing and bathing dogs so let me know if that something your pet needs. I would love to spend time with your dog. My family would make sure to provide plenty of play time, snooze time, and bathroom breaks. My schedule can be fairly flexible, but I can organize a set schedule for your pet also. I am available during the week most mornings and every the afternoon to take your dog for a walk to break up his/her day. I have a large back yard. About: I finally talked my mom and Grandma into letting me have a cat when I was 15. I named her Simpson, and despite her lowly birth, she was a divine fluffy black and white princess. Her warm welcome included oral dewormer, a bath, a good brushing, a nail trim, and topical flea treatment. I have since gained experience trimming nails and applying flea medication/preventative to cats other than my own. I love engaging kitties in play, a relaxing brush session, or simply finding which unconventional places they prefer most to nap in. I will carefully measure food, or make sure a bowl is never empty. Scooping litter is a breeze, and I can scrub a box with the best of them. I am no stranger to cleaning hairballs and vomit, but if your cat is likely to make a mess I would like to know where the cleaning supplies are kept and what you'd like me to use. I respect their autonomy and will snuggle those who request it, and leave be the ones who prefer to be left alone. If your feline friend longs for the outdoors, please provide instructions on how to best ensure they stay inside- I WILL cry if your cat escapes on my watch.

Handling Aggressive or Special Needs Pets I have extensive experience with fearful, reactive, and aggressive pets, but clear and honest communication is essential: Cats: I am comfortable handling feral or aggressive cats and will take the necessary time to build trust. I can administer medication as needed, but I require full transparency about their behavior to ensure safety for all. Dogs: I can accommodate dogs with minor behavioral challenges, such as leash reactivity or mild anxiety. However, for safety reasons, I cannot accept: Dogs over 50 lbs who are not at least moderately leash-trained. Dogs requiring a muzzle or choke collar in public settings. Double-Booking Policy For the safety and well-being of all pets, I do not double-book boarding, daycare, or walks unless all parties have given consent and a meet-and-greet has taken place. If multiple dogs are staying in my home at the same time, a meet-and-greet is required. Even if the dogs get along, they will not be left alone together unless securely crated. Cats and dogs boarding in my home simultaneously will be kept in separate areas with no contact.

About: I've been around and have helped care for dogs and cats all shapes and sizes. Each one I've personally owned are a part of the family! I would take care of your fur baby like I'd want mine taken care of. I am a homeschooling mom which means your fur baby will be kept company while in my care. During the school year, on Saturdays, we sometimes will have sporting events to go to, as well as some week nights we will go to extracurricular practices but never gone for long! I currently have Midland's rail trail right in my back yard for nice walks if that's something you would like done. When we move in March we will have a large open park right in our backyard! My place is not yet ready for doggy daycare, but I don’t mind making the trip to care for fur babies ♡ I work a full time job which definitely keeps me busy, but I’m available after work most days. I have a fairly flexible schedule on the weekend. I own a cat, a snake and a horse. I live just outside of Chesaning. I’m very patient and loving with client’s pets and treat them as my own. I also make it a point to stay tidy.
About: I had a chocolate lab. She passed away in July 2020. She was 16 years old. She was on medicine and had a couple surgeries so I am used to taking care of older dogs with meds, etc. I do have 5 cats and they are very spoiled. They are outdoor/indoor. They range in age from 9 yrs-2 yrs-old. I believe in daily exercise for animals, I even walk the cats! I am available very early mornings 6-7am and in the evening from 7pm on. “This was our first time leaving our dog with someone on rover. We previously left our dog at a boarding place and she didn’t do well at all, was sick didn’t eat etc. We decided leaving her with someone who would be with her most of the time would be best for us. We met with Ralph prior to her stay. He answered all of our questions and he asked good questions as well, so that he got to know her before taking care of her. Ralph watched our dog for 7 days and she did so well! He sent photos and updates and was quick to respond if we reached out for additional updates/questions. Ralph made sure he was home as much as possible for an entire week even saying he went grocery shopping prior to ensure he had groceries and wouldn’t have to leave her alone. We are so happy to have met someone who we can trust and know will take good care of our dog as if it’s his own. We definitely plan to use him again for our next vacation.”
