“This was our first time leaving our dog with someone on rover. We previously left our dog at a boarding place and she didn’t do well at all, was sick didn’t eat etc. We decided leaving her with someone who would be with her most of the time would be best for us. We met with Ralph prior to her stay. He answered all of our questions and he asked good questions as well, so that he got to know her before taking care of her. Ralph watched our dog for 7 days and she did so well! He sent photos and updates and was quick to respond if we reached out for additional updates/questions. Ralph made sure he was home as much as possible for an entire week even saying he went grocery shopping prior to ensure he had groceries and wouldn’t have to leave her alone. We are so happy to have met someone who we can trust and know will take good care of our dog as if it’s his own. We definitely plan to use him again for our next vacation.”

About: I have always loved dogs! I have owned one almost my entire life. I have stayed overnight with friends dogs many times while they're out of town. I am active, so walking and playing will be no problem. My summer is very open, so I hope to be filling my time with your dogs and puppies! I had an Airedale Terrier who had ACL repairement surgery twice. This gave me experience with giving medications, rehabilitation & disabled dogs. If your dog loves to play, my parent’s dog, Arlo, is always down for some laps around the yard…If you're missing your dog, we will have a photo shoot and send you as many pictures as needed! “Shadow and his family give Merissa five out of five paws! If you are looking for someone to spend less than two minutes with your pet, Merissa may not be the person for you. She stopped by roughly 30 minutes during each visit and made sure that Shadow wasn't lonely while we were on vacation. She sent multiple pictures to us every time she stopped over, even if he wasn't interested in having his picture taken. Most importantly to us, she didn't give up on him. The first couple days, he was somewhat apprehensive with someone new looking after him -- he didn't want to eat much or play (which is unlike him). On Day 3, Merissa was able to finally get him out of his funk and act like his playful self (as supported by pictures). Someone else may have just decided to not put in the effort and let our sleepy dog lie, but that wasn't the case with her! So, by all means, don't pick Merissa unless your pet is ready to have someone play with him or her while you are gone. If you want your pet to feel lonely, don't pick her, because she will make sure that your pet gets a lot of attention. And definitely don't pick her, if your pet is camera shy, because you will never have to wonder for too long how your pet is doing. However, if you want to make sure that your pet is cared for while you are away, you should consider booking her right away. Again, Shadow rates her five out of five paws and that is what really matters!”
About: I have personally owned cats, dogs, horses, cows, chickens, guinea pigs, hamsters, and there are very few animals that I’m *not* comfortable with. I have raised bully breeds from bottles, and I have a ton of experience with large dogs as well as small. I’m not allergic to any animals- and I love snuggling and playing. About: My Husband and I have had pets in our family since we both could walk. We have 2 dogs and 2 cats ourselves that are treated better than many humans. We understand the struggle of finding the right fit for your babies when you need to travel and are happy to provide as many updates and pictures as needed to make sure you are comfortable with their care. For Puppies, we both have gone through the puppy phase a few times and understand their needs and chaotic tendencies. All of our animals are up to date on their shots. About: I have been dog and cat sitting for over 10 years for different neighbors! I myself have chickens and a cat right now but I have had fish, dogs, and bunnies also! Currently in PA school on rotations and have lots of free time in between shifts and classes so I can be available whenever it is all just kind of random! I am very sweet with animals and like to give them lots of love! I will cuddle with them and also love going on lots of walks!
About: My Husband and I have had pets in our family since we both could walk. We have 2 dogs and 2 cats ourselves that are treated better than many humans. We understand the struggle of finding the right fit for your babies when you need to travel and are happy to provide as many updates and pictures as needed to make sure you are comfortable with their care. For Puppies, we both have gone through the puppy phase a few times and understand their needs and chaotic tendencies. All of our animals are up to date on their shots. As a bonus, we both work from home, so your pets will get constant love and attention. We will also be happy to help with any other special care needs such as medications, special diets, brushing, teeth brushing, etc. Our animals are very used to new friends and play nice and we have a big backyard for your baby's enjoyment. If your pet stays with us, they will be loved like family! We both work from home, so, we are able to give potty breaks and enrichment breaks frequently throughout the day. Someone will always be home when we are boarding. We live in a house and have a large fenced in yard. All of our animals have their current vaccinations. We have a large Kennel for our Shepard for when we have to leave the house.
About: I've worked with animals off all kinds, ages, sizes, and requirements since I was 10. Everyone i know comes to me for pet help/care. I take a special intrest in training. I currently have a border collie mix who i practice sports such as agility and bikjoring. She also love trick training and obedience training. I was in a vet course in high school for two years so I've got plenty of experience with all sizes and species of animals. There i learn how to give oral medication, signs of parasites/disease, dog body language and the importance of mental & physical stimulation that sent me on my way to being a dog nerd. My job has me working weekends during the slow season and being an active person I need something to fill my off time. So I have Monday- Thursday to work with your schedule. I have worked with reactive animals as well as own one so im exceptional at dog body language and i focus on making a dogs walk/Visit as stress-free as possible. My experience with reactive dogs helps me stay patient and calm in stressful situations.

We previously left our dog at a boarding place and she didn’t do well at all, was sick didn’t eat etc. We decided leaving her with someone who would be with her most of the time would be best for us. We met with Ralph prior to her stay. He answered all of our questions and he asked good questions as well, so that he got to know her before taking care of her. Ralph watched our dog for 7 days and she did so well! He sent photos and updates and was quick to respond if we reached out for additional updates/questions. Ralph made sure he was home as much as possible for an entire week even saying he went grocery shopping prior to ensure he had groceries and wouldn’t have to leave her alone. We are so happy to have met someone who we can trust and know will take good care of our dog as if it’s his own. We definitely plan to use him again for our next vacation.”

About: I grew up on a farm and have always had pets. Cats, dogs and even a cow and chicken or two. I strongly believe our pets are family members just like our human family. I've had big and little dogs, and many different cats. My current little man is my best buddy he is spoiled and loved so much. He's 7 years old and loves other dogs to hang out with. He doesn't pay any attention to cats. I would love to care for your family member, giving you peace of mind that they will be well cared for and loved on while in my care. My availability is completely open, any day and time. I'm very flexible with dates and times, whether at your home or mine. Thank you for your time and I look forwars to hearing from you! I have a fenced in area for bathroom breaks and a large yard on a quiet country road to run and play in. I have space for a crate, I even have a very large one that can be used if necessary. Also have an almost two mile lane around our farm property to walk and run around. My home has plenty of space for exploring or just chilling out.
