She never pushes dogs for interactions they aren’t ready for, which is especially important in my case as one of my dogs is fearful and easily stressed. About: I have always loved dogs! I have owned one almost my entire life. I have stayed overnight with friends dogs many times while they're out of town. I am active, so walking and playing will be no problem. My summer is very open, so I hope to be filling my time with your dogs and puppies! “Shadow and his family give Merissa five out of five paws! If you are looking for someone to spend less than two minutes with your pet, Merissa may not be the person for you. She stopped by roughly 30 minutes during each visit and made sure that Shadow wasn't lonely while we were on vacation. She sent multiple pictures to us every time she stopped over, even if he wasn't interested in having his picture taken. Most importantly to us, she didn't give up on him. The first couple days, he was somewhat apprehensive with someone new looking after him -- he didn't want to eat much or play (which is unlike him). On Day 3, Merissa was able to finally get him out of his funk and act like his playful self (as supported by pictures). Someone else may have just decided to not put in the effort and let our sleepy dog lie, but that wasn't the case with her! So, by all means, don't pick Merissa unless your pet is ready to have someone play with him or her while you are gone. If you want your pet to feel lonely, don't pick her, because she will make sure that your pet gets a lot of attention. And definitely don't pick her, if your pet is camera shy, because you will never have to wonder for too long how your pet is doing. However, if you want to make sure that your pet is cared for while you are away, you should consider booking her right away. Again, Shadow rates her five out of five paws and that is what really matters!”

About: My Husband and I have had pets in our family since we both could walk. We have 2 dogs and 2 cats ourselves that are treated better than many humans. We understand the struggle of finding the right fit for your babies when you need to travel and are happy to provide as many updates and pictures as needed to make sure you are comfortable with their care. For Puppies, we both have gone through the puppy phase a few times and understand their needs and chaotic tendencies. All of our animals are up to date on their shots. As a bonus, we both work from home, so your pets will get constant love and attention. About: I've had pets my entire life! Dogs, Cats, fish hermit crabs, small animals, reptiles. I've had them all! I currently walk my neighbors dogs around the neighborhood! I'm comfortable with all sizes of dogs! I'm currently a stay at home parent so it's just me and occasionally my husband while the kids are at school! The kids walk to and from school so I don't even have to leave the house! While my yard is not fenced in right now, it is on our home improvement list! I'd say it's partially fenced currently, a storm pulled down some panels but your dog would never be left unsupervised! About: I am a huge pet lover! I have 4 cats of all ages & 3 chinchillas.. I take pride in giving a high quality- specific to the cat diet. I am consistently providing all types of enrichment for them & I love being creative in that. My chinchillas require a lot of enrichment & a very specific diet. I enjoy changing their cage layout & receiving love from them. Ages of cats are: 13, 6, 6 & 4. The chinchillas are nearing 4, 5 & 6. My cats are always kept up to date on their vetting & my chinchillas may see their exotic as needed. I have experience with: cats, dogs of all sizes, Guinea pigs, freshwater fish, an assortment of lizards including bearded dragons, rats, chinchillas, hamsters, mice, frogs, & a small amount of experience with bunnies. All of my pets are fully indoor. Two of my chinchillas are in their double CN cage where cats can see them, but do not interact with. My other chinchilla is in single tiered ferret nation cage. I am an advocate for keeping pets indoors & problem solving solutions for pets who may want a partially outdoor experience. Example: harness training your cat while keeping them on preventatives & consulting your vet first. My cats have a timed feeding with a diet specific to that cat, twice a day. My chinchillas have a once a day feeding including their pellets, fresh hay & access to water at all times; they require a dust bath every 2-3 days. The cats get approximately 15 minutes of exercise 2x a day & lots of opportunities for cuddling or one on one time as wanted. I routinely trim their nails, clean their ears & bathe every 6-12 months as needed.

I don't have a fenced in yard, but would keep your dog leashed while out for potty breaks if boarding. I also have home security cameras installed. I value you and your pets safety and privacy!
About: I have experience as a kennel worker and as an animal shelter aide. I have grew up with dogs my whole life. I spent a lot of time researching dog nutrition and I’m very experienced in dog behavior. I have 3 dogs and 3 children. Me and my family would love to care for your pups! We love going to the dog park and going for walks. I have plenty of time to spend with dogs! I’m a stay at home mom. Me and my dogs love playing fetch and going to the dog park I have a fenced in yard. My dogs have been highly socialized since they were 8 and 12 weeks old. They’re very friendly and love to play with other dogs.

My experience ranges from new puppy to 15+ yr old dogs, and from breeds ranging from less than 20lbs to over 90lbs. About: My Husband and I have had pets in our family since we both could walk. We have 2 dogs and 2 cats ourselves that are treated better than many humans. We understand the struggle of finding the right fit for your babies when you need to travel and are happy to provide as many updates and pictures as needed to make sure you are comfortable with their care. For Puppies, we both have gone through the puppy phase a few times and understand their needs and chaotic tendencies. All of our animals are up to date on their shots. As a bonus, we both work from home, so your pets will get constant love and attention. We will also be happy to help with any other special care needs such as medications, special diets, brushing, teeth brushing, etc. Our animals are very used to new friends and play nice and we have a big backyard for your baby's enjoyment. If your pet stays with us, they will be loved like family! We both work from home, so, we are able to give potty breaks and enrichment breaks frequently throughout the day. Someone will always be home when we are boarding. We live in a house and have a large fenced in yard. All of our animals have their current vaccinations. We have a large Kennel for our Shepard for when we have to leave the house.
