“Bandit has such a great time with Michael! I cannot say enough good things, and we've already booked more visits. Michael is truly a dog person, great with senior doggos and very kind and communicative.”

About: I’ve had dogs my entire life and am a trusted pet sitter amount family and friends. I have a dog and two cats of my own. I have house sat with 3 cats for friends, and dog sat for a family with 5 dogs at a time for a week. Animals are my loves in this world and will always receive the very best from me. Hi! I’m a dependable animal lover with a full-time career and a flexible schedule that allows me to work from home two days a week. I’m available for pet care in the evenings and on weekends, and I’ll make sure your pets feel safe, loved, and well cared for while you’re away. I’m attentive, responsible, and excited to meet your furry family members! I’m very dependable and take caring for animals seriously. As a pet owner myself, I understand the importance of consistency, patience, and attention to detail when it comes to caring for pets. I treat every animal with the same care and diligence that I give my own.
“Sydney was very friendly and helpful in this experience. This was the first time we left our puppies to go overnight. Sydney kept us updated with pictures and messages. She listened tentatively and followed directions. If we ever need a pet sitter again I would feel comfortable to call Sydney. Thank you so much! The puppies also liked her so that’s a good sign as well.”

“Kym kept me updated of how my pet was doing through texts and pictures while I was out of town and she took really great care of my pet which put me at ease knowing my dog was safe and well cared for.”

“Britnie was amazing with our dog Goober & he loved his time at her house. She sent us frequent updates & was very flexible when a situation with our daughter changed our pickup time. We highly recommend letting her care for your pups. Goober can’t wait to go back on our next vacation!”

“Angie was incredibly receptive to our comments and suggestions throughout the entire experience. She was also very flexible with both the drop-off and pick-up times for our little baby, which we truly appreciated. We are sincerely grateful for her kindness, care, and the support of her wonderful family. Zoe was happy, comfortable, and adapted very quickly without any issues. We highly recommend Angie—100%! Thank you for taking such great care of our little girl!”

“Madison and Brandon were amazing dog sitters for Teddy. They were very patient and worked with him to get to know their three dogs. Very responsive and attentive to Teddy.”

“Can’t thank Cheri enough for taking such good care of Denali while we were out of town! She provided frequent updates and spoiled Denali with lots of playtime. It is nice to have someone you can trust with your pets while away. Will most definitely use Cheri again!”

“Jessica and Ben do such a good job watching our dog! She is so flexible with scheduling and always sends us pictures at least once a day to keep us updated! Cannot recommend them enough!”

“This visit was my fur baby’s first boarding with Amanda. I was so nervous leaving him as he is an elder dog, however, Amanda put my mind at ease through consistent communications and lots of photos throughout his stay. I am so grateful for the love that she gave my boy! I highly recommend her and will definitely use her again”
“Amazing!! Our doodle loves going to Kellie’s to hangout with her doodle and her kiddos. She does a great job accommodating and keeping us updated with pics. We’ve used her twice now and will continue to do so!”

About: My husband and I always had a pack of rescues. Large, small, sick, old. We had no children so our pets were our children. My husband passed away and I recently just lost my last fur baby. I want to travel a bit so pet sitting is going to be my substitute for a while. I love cats but unfortunately I'm highly allergic. I currently work remotely but will be retiring shortly. My daily routine is wide open. I've always had one or more dogs so my routine has always been focused on their care. My last 3 were older boys with medical conditions so my life was focused on their care. I can accommodate crates or not, whatever your babies need. I do not have a fenced in yard so when they go outside they will always be on a leash.
“Craig was great with my dog. I had to leave him for a week and Craig was very good with him taking him for walks and sending me pictures everyday. He is easy going and I will leave my pup with him if the need arrives anytime.”

“Kerri was great! Super nice and Buddy had a great time. She kept me updated with pictures and videos while I was away. I will definitely trust and will have her care for my dog again.”

“Sandra was so attentive to our boy marshall. She sent us pictures every day and gave him so much love and affection. We will definitely utilize her services on our future trips!”

“Avri was amazing! We had a great experience with Avri and would happily book with her again. She took excellent care of Stella, kept us updated with regular messages and cute photos, and gave us complete peace of mind while we were away. It was clear Stella was well cared for and comfortable. We really appreciated the communication, reliability, and genuine care she showed. Highly recommend!”

“Courtney was great and we will be definitely using her again when we go out of town. She sent great pictures and updates while we were gone so I knew my kitties were okay. She must be some kind of cat whisperer too...we've never had a sitter that could pet all three cats in her first visit! They loved her!!! ?”

About: Hello! My name is Mike and I've been fostering dogs since 2019. I've had approximately 18 come and go, only foster "failing" (foster dogs who I ended up keeping) with two who stayed and had the best golden years. I lost my most recent boy in August, a blind Bichon, just shy of his 12th birthday and after 3 great years. He was type-1 diabetic and blind, and after so much time as a foster getting his insulin regulated, he decided I was his forever family. He had a sister when I got him, a senior Yorkie with diabetes insipidus and a host of health issues. All that is to say I'm a professional at insulin, rigid medication schedules and diet maintenance. Presently I have no dogs of my own. When it comes to your dog, I'll keep your daily routine and walk schedules too, so your pups stay is as minimally disruptive to their normal routine as possible. I've fostered dogs of many breeds from Chihuahuas and a Rat Terrier to a Golden Retriever and Saint Bernard. I've had as many as 4 dogs at once so I'm open to having multiple pups at once. I'll never accept dogs from multiple families unless both families are booking together and the dogs are socialized with each other already. And I'll never cancel a confirmed stay for a more lucrative multi-dog request. I live alone in a detached house in Wallaceburg, and I work from home so your dog won't be left alone aside from short errands. I'm not big on crating dogs, leaving them free to be where they like while I'm gone. I have a den with glass door if you tell me they need smaller quarters, or you can bring your crate for me to use. I have a large fenced yard for playing fetch or dogs who need to run. This is a total dog house. I bought it due to its flat land and not having stairs, and I built a ramp down to the yard. I installed a dog door but it will stay blocked unless having access is suitable for your pups. Dogs are welcome on the couch and the bed, and will have free roam of the house (there's no basement, and garage isn't accessible). House sitting radius: the Rover app limits a 100km radius when setting the territory I can offer the services. I've got my radius set Eastward to circle Toronto, as I grew up there and love an opportunity to take gigs that get me into the city. Unfortunately I can't draw a circle that includes Windsor, but I'm happy to take gigs there too. If you're in London, Kitchener-Waterloo, Cambridge, Brantford, or the GTA, and you have a dog that can be left alone for 2-3hrs max, I may be willing to offer discounts on price so I can catch up with family and friends in those areas while I'm there. If you have any questions or you'd like to arrange a tour or meet and greet, don't hesitate to reach out. I work fulltime hours from home, typical office hours. I'm usually awake by 7am and bed by midnight. I don't have many friends in town so I'm home most of the time. My yard is fully fenced. I have a couple Tile tracking tags that I can attach to their collar if they're an escape artist (or you'd like to track your pups location remotely). Hazardous items like cleaning products are kept in cupboards or in my detached garage. My house is pretty dog proofed and I'm not concerned if your pup has an accident. That's what mops and upholstery cleaners are for. I think I've developed pretty good dog body language, and only correct misbehaviour by command and redirection. I'm a bit of a sucker that let's them get carried away when they're being silly, but particularly with bigger dogs I'll make sure their training is maintained (no jumping up to greet, making sure they don't assert dominance etc.)
About: I’ve worked in the vet field for 6 years, caring for dogs and cats. And I’ve been fostering for 6 years as well. I’ve had a love for animals since before I can remember. They are my passion. I care for every single one of them as my own I’m a stay at home mom. I don’t have a lot planned right now other than some up north trips and a wedding to plan. Our house can be chaos with all the animals and 2 kids. But everyone is loved and played with. We can go for walks as our neighborhood is not as busy.

About: Have a history of dog breeding and care, love all pets. We currently have 2 small dogs, our cat passed way last year sadly, but we love both. I work part time, three hours three times a week and so I have a lot of free time to care for the needs of your pet. I have a fully fenced in yard where even the smallest dog cannot get out. In your home I am available to help them feel comfortable and safe when you are away.

About: ONLY SIT UP TO 25 lbs... Hello, I'm Cynthia, a true animal lover; I have owned many dogs & cats, they're my passion and bring me much joy. I will care for your babies like they're my own. I will provide a home away from home. I live in home in Chesterfield (23 Mile & Sugarbush/Seaden) with a beautiful fenced yard; only dogs up to 25 lbs. About: I have cared for animals ever since I was 10 years old. I’ve had small pets of my own, two dogs (a pit bull and a corgi) and my roommate owns two cats, as well. I have no allergies and have a smoke free home! I’m a teacher during the school year, so I’m just looking to keep some animals company this summer while on break! I’m not working in the summer, so I have a lot of time to stop in and care for animals or go for walks. I can do weekdays and weekends pretty much all times of the day. I live in a new build home and subdivision, so when I walk my dog it has to be on a leash. I am happy to leash walk, harness walk, or crate animals.

If I happen to get called into sub I am able to come home at lunch only leaving the dogs for a few hours at a time. I have a 5 year old yellow Labrador that is very friendly and gets along very well with other dogs. I have a spacious, fully fenced yard—and a built-in companion! Dogs I welcome into our home are treated like part of the family, just like our own beloved fur baby. I also have a crate available, which our dog uses freely whenever she wants a cozy spot to relax.

“I’m new using the Rover app, but my dogs absolutely love Brad and I would highly recommend him thus far. He seems to be quite knowledgeable of dogs and how to walk and care for them. Owning two German shepherds who normally don’t like strangers, they’ve taken quite well to Bradley. I would recommend him to family and friends. 5*’s”

About: I have owned dogs and cats all of my life. They definitely play an important part of my existance. I live in an area that has lots of room for a dog to get exercise. I spend much of my time outside with my pets near my side. It is important to me that any pet I am taking care of knows that they are very special to me. Your pet will become as fond of me as they are of their owners. I have spent times watching dogs and cats in their homes. I make sure that they are not missing their masters by spending extra time playing and walking them during my visits, whether it is a day visit or weekend visit. I just love our fur pals. I only work part time. My husband is home until 1:00 p.m. and I generally work only until 2:00 p.m. But that is only from May until October. Your dog will have someone around 90% of the day. I have a large yard. It is not fenced in but I keep my visiting pets on a leash at all times. They will be close by to me at all times.
About: As a lifelong animal lover and proud dog mom to two quirky Pomskys (a cuddly goofball named Cyrus and an independent little fox named Luna), I know just how much pets are family. Whether your pup needs an energetic walk, a calm companion, or someone to make them feel safe while you’re away, I’m here to help. I’m experienced with all kinds of personalities, from shy seniors to zoomie-fueled puppies, and I’m always happy to follow your care instructions down to the last detail. I work from home with a flexible schedule, so I’m available throughout the day for walks, drop-ins, or sitting. Whether your pup needs a midday stroll or some extra love while you’re out, I can be there. Your pet’s routine will always come first. I offer walking and in-home pet sitting, so your dog stays comfortable in their own space. My own pup prefers a quieter environment, so I don’t host pets at my house. I’m always respectful of your routines, and I treat your home and animals with the same care I give my own.

Whether your dog needs a walk, playtime, companionship, or patient care while you're away, I’ll treat them with the same kindness and attention I give to my own. My goal is to help your pet feel safe, happy, and loved while giving you peace of mind. Pet care is already a natural part of my daily routine.
