“Cheyenne saved my butt when she agreed last minute to take my Reese for an overnight while I was in town for work. I was nervous since I had never left her with someone I didn't know before. When I arrived Phillip (her boyfriend) told me he just vaccumed because they had read her bio where I said she was skiddish. I felt that it was very thoughtful for him to do that before I brought her over so she wouldn't be fearful of the loud noise. Cheyenne was extremely responsive and sent multiple photos. Reese was also able to have a playmate, Lexi (their dog). When I picked her up the next day she was HAPPY to see me and tired! I will definitely book with her again in the future.... About: I have been fostering for almost 13 years and have taken care of cats, dogs and horses growing up my whole life. I am familiar with giving meds and special needs for dogs and cats as well. I have dobermans so I understand high energy dogs! I am working part time to spend more time with my kids and dogs and my kids also love new companions we take in and care for. I have just been wanting to care for more animals in my area. I have a fenced in yard and 2 dobermans and a doberdoodle. They are all dog and kid friendly. My dogs are vetted and up to date on everything. My dobermans are the reason I started fostering as they love new friends! My doberdoodle was my foster fail that I love dearly. I do have a couple kennels but if your dog does better with no kennel I do that as well!

About: I had to put down my 10 year old lab this winter. I miss having dog, but thought this would be a great way to spoil your dog and have a dog in the house again. I'm not ready for another pet just yet. I will be in charge, as I work from home. Promise lots of walks, private beach if your dog enjoys that and lots of attention. No puppies (can discuss if housebroken) and can provide for senior dogs if needs are reasonable. Thank you! I primarily work from home so your dog will never be left alone for long. I am writer, so I sit at my desk quite a bit. However, those hikes in the woods or walks around the neighborhood are necessary. I would love to have your dog join me. I will treat your dog like a part of the family. I walk, feed and give plenty of attention. You tell me the rest. I miss having our own dog and would love to take care of yours. About: Hello, and welcome to the Pup's Place, your dog's home when you're away from home. I have experience in dog walking and sitting, whether it be at your place or mine. My experience lies primarily with small and medium sized breeds but I can provide care for large breeds (40-100 lbs). I'll be honest, I joined Rover as a way to experience all the joys that a dog brings in life after losing my best friend who lived to 21 years old. I'm not ready to get another dog so I hope that caring for yours as I have cared for mine all her life can fill the hole inside my heart, as well as put you at ease knowing your dog is receiving the utmost love and care we both know they deserve. As for availability, I work full time midnight shifts (7pm-7:30am) at the hospital, 3 days a week. I can work around my schedule to meet your needs. About: In college I worked as a professional pet sitter that was over 20 years ago. Since then I have pet sat off and on over the years in my home and in clients home. I have experience walking lots of dogs at one time. I have experience with horses and cows as well. I also have 5 years of professional pet grooming experience too. I have had family pets my entire life. I currently work part time as a substitute teacher and with my boyfriend at his lawn care business. About: Not only have I grown up with pets my whole life, I have made a living out of taking care of them. It was my calling as a young child to become a Veterinarian. I started Pet Well Mobile Vet, the area's only mobile veterinary service, in 2021 to help bring a better level of quality to pet care after seeing how much more relaxed my friend's pets were when I took care of them in their homes. Building that bond through pet sitting is much the same thing. Pets get individualized care and you get peace of mind. As the mobile veterinarian, I can schedule my days as needed. I have the flexibility to do mid-day meals or walk, if needed. I'm almost always done working by 6pm to make sure everyone gets dinner on time and then some evening playtime. All pets will be cared for as if they are my own. I encourage pet parents to write up the normal routine for their baby so I can stick to it as much as possible. I love to send pictures and updates. How I take care of my puppy, well my dog is served food twice a day about 2 cups of dog food. She is my buisness partner as I work alone, so she rides shot gun everywhere I go when plowing. We have an underground fence although she has been very well trained that she wouldn’t run off even without a collar. My dog can sit, bow, lay down, roll over and I’ve trained her to off leash walk. Everywhere I go I am complimented on how well minded she is. And as a black lab shepherd mix that’s impressive considering the level of engergy she has. In my clients home I will tend to my clients specific instructions as I know every owner to puppy relationship is defferent. I will care for their animal just as they would. And ensure a easy going, safe, and happy environment for the best sitting experience possible.
About: I have cared for all ages of dogs and cats. I work at a boarding kennel/ daycare and am used to cues in play when it comes to dogs. I have cleaned up after all of the messes with no issues, and can bath if needed and the animal allows it (extra fee). I can administer medications in all varieties and can comfortably handle shy and reactive dogs. I have leash walked dogs that have recently had acl repairs and can lift over 50 lbs if needed. About: I have been around animals since a very young age. I grew up having to care for my dogs, cats, horses, cows, and sheep! I participated in 4-H for 10 years showing both cattle and sheep. Throughout high school and college I worked at a doggy day care, that cared for both cats and dogs, either for day visits or overnight stays. I was responsible for making sure the animals were as comfortable as possible. This involved cleaning their kennels daily, feeding, and medications. Later, I worked as a veterinary assistant for 6 months. I have house/dog and cat sat for various friends and family members throughout the years as well. I am very flexible! “Cheyenne saved my butt when she agreed last minute to take my Reese for an overnight while I was in town for work. I was nervous since I had never left her with someone I didn't know before. When I arrived Phillip (her boyfriend) told me he just vaccumed because they had read her bio where I said she was skiddish. I felt that it was very thoughtful for him to do that before I brought her over so she wouldn't be fearful of the loud noise. Cheyenne was extremely responsive and sent multiple photos. Reese was also able to have a playmate, Lexi (their dog). When I picked her up the next day she was HAPPY to see me and tired! I will definitely book with her again in the future.... About: I have been fostering for almost 13 years and have taken care of cats, dogs and horses growing up my whole life. I am familiar with giving meds and special needs for dogs and cats as well. I have dobermans so I understand high energy dogs! I am working part time to spend more time with my kids and dogs and my kids also love new companions we take in and care for. I have just been wanting to care for more animals in my area. I have a fenced in yard and 2 dobermans and a doberdoodle. They are all dog and kid friendly. My dogs are vetted and up to date on everything. My dobermans are the reason I started fostering as they love new friends! My doberdoodle was my foster fail that I love dearly. I do have a couple kennels but if your dog does better with no kennel I do that as well!

About: I had to put down my 10 year old lab this winter. I miss having dog, but thought this would be a great way to spoil your dog and have a dog in the house again. I'm not ready for another pet just yet. I will be in charge, as I work from home. Promise lots of walks, private beach if your dog enjoys that and lots of attention. No puppies (can discuss if housebroken) and can provide for senior dogs if needs are reasonable. Thank you! I primarily work from home so your dog will never be left alone for long. I am writer, so I sit at my desk quite a bit. However, those hikes in the woods or walks around the neighborhood are necessary. I would love to have your dog join me. I will treat your dog like a part of the family. I walk, feed and give plenty of attention. You tell me the rest. I miss having our own dog and would love to take care of yours. It's not a good time to get another dog, but I know how to love and care for yours. I work from home and will handle the care of your dog.
“Amanda took excellent care of our Pinky. She cared for her as if she were her own dog. Amanda has a friendly dog who played with Pinky and was great company for her. Amanda has a fenced in yard which allowed Pinky to play outside and enjoy the foot of snow! Amanda administered medicines to Pinky as directed and informed us daily of Pinky’s dietary intake, her general health and happiness as well as sending us daily photos. We were able to enjoy our overseas vacation with no worries since Amanda was taking such excellent care of Pinky. We will definitely ask Amanda to take care of our Pinky in the future. About: I have helped owners with dog sitting/walking in the Traverse City area. I've had my dog and cat business for 5+ years and I spend my time with special dogs and cats during the day, overnights or on weekends. I cared for my two dogs until they passed away. Now I have time to devote to other pets who need my support. I have time in my life to care for your lovely dogs, walking them during the week and watching them for overnights on the weekends As my yard is not fenced in, I prefer to go to clients home to help out. I have a reliable vehicle and could come and visit
