About: Hi, I am Bri! I grew up on a small dairy farm in Wisconsin and was raised with border collies. I have always loved animals. I currently have two dogs of my own, a 13 year old rescue Mini Australian Shepherd and a 7 year old Border Collie mix. I work from home which allows me to spend lots of time with my fur babies! I would love to spend time with your pet and would provide outstanding care! Our home in Skandia, MI is just 20 minutes from Marquette, so if you are traveling to the area and need dog care for just the day or longer, please reach out. About: My entire childhood there was always a dog or two in the house. I grew up with 5 different English setters that I helped take care of as starting as young as 10 years old. Being the high energy dogs that they are, I became well acquainted with daily walks and lots of attention and care. Today I’m the proud father of a 3 year old golden doodle named Winston. Despite being a couch potato he also loves the beach, camping, and could play fetch until his legs gave out. I’ve been working for home for 5 years now as a project manager, which has allowed me to proved constant care and attention to Winston and my parent 3 English setters whenever they have been out of town. Living just outside of downtown Negaunee, my neighborhood is dog friendly and the perfect place for a walk. I also offer a medium sized fenced in backyard, which is perfect for fetch and play time. I work from home M-F, so I’m always home and available to provide care. I also have a 3 year old golden doodle that I’m caring for fully time each day. I have a medium sized fenced in back yard with a covered porch. It is the perfect size for short distance fetch and playtime. Plus the porch offers some shade from the sun if they enjoy sitting outside and people watching.

About: I worked at a local vet clinic (2023-2025) as a receptionist and a vet assistant. It is not my chosen career path, but I did learn valuable skills and knowledge on caring for pets, especially ones with health concerns, as well as triaging for urgent cases and emergencies. I have taken training classes with one of my pups at home from beginner to advanced. I have experience with puppies,adults, and senior dogs, plus dogs with health issues. I have some experience sitting for cats, including kitties post-major surgery, and I grew up with cats who I had from the time they were kittens through to old age. I am comfortable with pets of all ages! I also grew up with dogs as big as Old English Mastiffs and as small as tea cup Chihuahuas, so I am comfortable with all sizes as well. I work full time, and my schedule changes week to week. I work anywhere from 5 hours shifts to 8 hours. I am unable to leave for lunch breaks or anything like that, so I am available for pets who are able to be left alone up to 8 hours on days that I work. I do get two days off a week, and those days I'm available all day and can adjust my routine and schedule around your pets! I have two playful pups at home that love to meet new people and dogs! Every 4-8 hours they go on potty breaks in the yard, which is decently big for running around. They go on 30 minute walks almost every day and a special hike or activity at least once a week. Caring for the pups is split between my boyfriend and I. While no one is home, my pups have free-range of and kitchen with all doors closed throughout the day. They always have access to toys, fresh water, and couches/dog beds to lounge on. Our dogs are allowed on the furniture and sleep in our bed with us at night, but we have two dog beds available as options. We love to give a couple treats/snacks throughout the day as well! I really enjoy making the time spent other pups fun, so they can feel as relaxed as possible while their people are away. As a pet parent myself, I respectfully follow all of my client's rules and what is required regarding their pets and home.

I have experience attaching kitty nail caps, when she was younger, with coordinated guidance while we were sussing out an unknown skin condition that was causing her to scratch aggressively, continually opening wounds, not giving them a chance to heal. Her condition is now under control, and she no longer requires the nail caps. Prior cats I have cared for have ranged from 3 lbs to 28 lbs! Our family pooch is an English Springer Spaniel, a unique tri-color showcasing beautiful Sable color. We welcomed him to our home 6 years ago. He is our 2nd Springer in 21 years. They are such a loving, fun, and gentle breed. I have much experience in connecting with and walking rescue dogs as well, mixed breeds including Sharpei, Pit Bull, Rottie, Jack Russel, Corgie, Labradoodles, Spaniels, etc. Sanitation is the start of keeping our friends safe and healthy; exercise and fresh air are necessary as well to have a happy, healthy home life. I can provide these things for your loved furry friend(s) while you are traveling or working.
