“This was my first experience leaving one of my dogs with a pet sitter. Before we would occasionally board our dogs with the vet. This was an excellent experience though and I prefer it over boarding with the vet. Rodney was great with my 2 1/2 month old puppy. His dogs, especially Murphy, played so well with Leroy. My little guy loves that big golden retriever. My puppy also came back a few lbs heavier and a bit taller, showing he was well cared for the whole time. When I wasn't going to be back in town until a bit later, Rodney was very accommodating about allowing my mum and sister to pick up the puppy for me. Overall it was an excellent experience and I highly recommend him.”

About: Your dog will be my dog while in my care. I am a huge animal lover who has always made my animals a part of my family, not just an animal. Starting May 4th, I will be training for a new job. My training hours will be 8-5, if you can work around those time please reach out. My yard is not fenced so your babies will only be outside when I am out there with them, leashed if required. I do not agree with leaving a dog alone all night when they are already seeing a difference with their family being gone. If they are dog friendly they would have socialization as well with my friends and family dogs so they could get some interaction and extra exercise! I currently work from home so frequent potty breaks or administration of medication would not be an issue. We would be one big happy family all day long My dogs are not crated when I leave the house but do have an extra large one if required for your baby. About: I've had different dogs in the house for my whole life. As a kid my family brought dogs in for foster care. We've taken care of multiple dogs with disabilities, including deaf dogs and partially blind dogs. Dogs get along with me well and I'm good at getting shy dogs to warm up to me. Your friends will be able to take plenty of potty breaks and nice tranquil walks in the "countryside". They will be kenneled at night (around 11p.m.) in a dark, empty room in a padded kennel. (I know it sounds depressing but is actually super relaxing for doggos!). Doggie bath services are also negotiable.

About: I’ve owned multiple dogs my whole life, from our current German Shepherd and Siberian Husky to the two pugs we adopted when I was in high school to the lovey dog we found as a kid that we named Scooby-Doo because he looked just like him. I am dependable, punctual, and communicative, and I provide attentive, compassionate care so pets feel safe, comfortable, and well cared for in their own home. My schedule is completely open on the weekends and Wednesdays, and I work part-time Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays. But I am available after 4:30 those days. I am only comfortable caring for your animals in their home as I have 5 dogs and 3 cats of my own. All animals are treated as they are my own babies.
About: I’ve been taking care of dogs since I was 8, when I got my own puppy. With my family i have 2 dogs, a Beagle and a Puggle. Growing up, I also had a Yellow Lab. I have pet sat multiple times in the past few years, both overnight and daily check ins. I love dogs of all ages, breeds, and sizes, and treat all dogs I encounter as if they were my own. I have a very open schedule that allows for me to pet sit at any time throughout the day, and any day of the week. I would not be able to care for pets in my own home, only in client’s homes. I am willing to fulfill whatever needs are presented by each pet, whether that be getting to know them slowly to allow them to build trust, snuggling with them so they aren’t lonely while their owners are gone, or any other needs they may have.
About: I’m knowledgeable in breed-specific needs and maintain consistency to keep them mentally and physically happy! I have previously taken dog behavior courses and am familiar with dog body language. I have worked with dogs of all sizes and ages! No dog is “too much!” I am comfortable with administering medications and providing grooming for long haired/high maintenance breeds. I have worked with puppies all the way up to senior dogs so I am comfortable handling all ages. I have a full-time job but am more than happy to fit time in to take care of your lovely fur baby. My typical shift is 8:00-4:30pm M-F. I have open availability on weekends to provide housesitting! If you are looking for constant care (pet cannot be left alone for 4 hours or more), I am happy to provide that however, I do charge a constant care rate if during the work week as I will need to take those days off and I will need to recoup lost salary. For constant care pets, I do require at least a month’s notice ahead of time so I can get that time off to accommodate. I will never take a sit if my work schedule cannot accommodate it—your pet’s care and safety is extremely important to me. I will work with you to decide if I am the right fit for your pet’s needs and routine. Nothing is worse than upsetting your pet’s routine and comfortability! I now offer drop-visits as well! This is great for people who might need someone to check in your fur baby a couple times a day but does not need around-the-clock needs. I am happy to drop in before work (8am) and can drop by after work! If you’re someone who works longer shifts, this is perfect for you! I am comfortable crating your pet if requested but they are also more than welcome to share a bed with me if they are used to sleeping with you! If you have an unfenced yard, I will keep them on leash at all times. If you have a fenced yard, I will stay out and monitor them until they are ready to come inside. Doors will be locked at all times whether I am in the home with your pet or if I’m at work. If you have any home-alarm systems, I will use them as well.

I am religious when it comes to pet feeding, grooming and any medications. These animals are our family. We may not have them our whole life, but they have us their whole life. About: While I'm more used to cats, I do also love dogs. Have a dog with separation anxiety? I can keep them company for a while! I will be working part-time Monday-Friday from 2 pm to 6 pm during the school year (September-Early June). I will be available to watch your pets from 9:30 am-1:30 pm on those days (despite what options this site gave). If I am unable to watch a pet at any time, I will let you know ahead of time by at least a few days. I owned a cat, Higgins, who was a big lovebug and fairly food motivated. I was in charge of feeding him breakfast and dinner since we rescued him in 2015, along with scooping his litterbox. He also needed nightly medication for some stomach issues, so I have experience giving pills. I can feed your pet, clean up after them whether they have a set schedule or not, and provide medication if necessary.
About: I will love and care for your furry friends as I do my own. I've owned dogs my whole life and my family would say it's a passion I've never fulfilled (but will be thanks to rover!) I've owned all size breeds so teacup or a small horse, I've got you covered! We have two other dogs in the home who love having guests and making new friends. Feedings can take place whenever you deem necessary for you! We have a ton of treats (SCHNACKS) ready to spoil and pamper your puppers as we do our own. I live on 7 acres of land in a private community, and have approximately 1 acre of fenced in yard directly off the back of the house. Your friends will be able to take plenty of potty breaks and nice tranquil walks in the "countryside". They will be kenneled at night (around 11p.m.) in a dark, empty room in a padded kennel. (I know it sounds depressing but is actually super relaxing for doggos!). Doggie bath services are also negotiable.

This was an excellent experience though and I prefer it over boarding with the vet. Rodney was great with my 2 1/2 month old puppy. His dogs, especially Murphy, played so well with Leroy. My little guy loves that big golden retriever. My puppy also came back a few lbs heavier and a bit taller, showing he was well cared for the whole time. When I wasn't going to be back in town until a bit later, Rodney was very accommodating about allowing my mum and sister to pick up the puppy for me.
