About: I've cared for both healthy cats and cats with underlying conditions. For 10 years I had a cat that was diabetic that I had to administer insulin to. My current cat is 15 and requires a lot of love and attention.My cat Mabel is a rescued kitten/ cat almost 16 years ago on Halloween night while coming home from work , about 4 cars ahead of me something went flying out the window . I was able to stop and pull over due to not having other cars behind me . It was very cold that night and the sun was just starting to set . I got out of my car and looked around for a few minutes but didn't see anything and I got ready to leave I hear faint cry and I turned and looked down into some tall weeds and there she was , this poor malnourished kitten crying for help . To make a long story short I got her home and the day my wife and I took her to vet . They kept her for 3 days running ivs into her . We able to come and after 3 days thinking she wasn't going make it. And here she is still with after such a traumatic start to her life . I am very grateful to have Mabel as my best friend and wouldn't trade for the world . I love you very much Mabel .

I have also grown up on a farm so I am very comfortable caring for large farm animals as well. I have 2 dogs of my own who are both very dog friendly and 1 cat who sometimes thinks she's a dog but doesn't care for other cats as she was attacked by other cats before we took her in. I love all animals and breeds don't matter to me. Your fur child will be treated and cared for like they are my own! About: We had a small dog when our children were out of high school and our world revolved around him. We miss him a lot since he crossed the rainbow bridge but I am lucky to be a grandma to 5 dogs—a Saint Bernard, a chihuahua mix, 2 terrier mixes and a German Shepherd mix. All rescue dogs with some quirky personality traits that make them a challenge and fun. I have also cared for my sister’s senior Maltese and a neighbor’s senior Boxer. Our neighborhood is safe to walk dogs (we used to walk our little guy around the block daily—1 1/4 miles) and there are also 2 parks close by that we could walk if they seem bored with the block.
