“When I came across Rover and what it was all about, I was positive that this would be a site I would never use. Allowing someone else to care for my dog in their home, was an uncomfortable concept to me. However, when I had a vacation scheduled, and my go-to dog boarding center was booked, Rover was the only option. Clara's name was mentioned to me by another Rover user who was not able to dog sit my exact dates needed. When I messaged Clara, she replied within 5 minutes saying "YES! I will take care of your dog." No questions asked. She lives about 30 minutes from where I am located in Kzoo, but trust me when I say she is worth the drive. Her house is immaculate, and she has other wonderful pups, a horse and great fenced in greenspace outside. We received pictures and a brief summary of our dog every day. Throughout my vacation, I never worried once about my dog. Clara's first impression made me feel like my dog was immediately apart of her pack. I 1000% recommend Clara for boarding.”

They seemed to be quite comfortable in their new surroundings by the time I picked them up the next day. Since I presently do not have a fenced yard, it was great for them to have access to a yard for play without having to be leashed. About: I’ve had grown up with cats and have two of my own, one is 13 years old and one is 1 years old. I don’t mind scooping a litter box, clipping nails, giving medicine, or anything of the sorts. I have cat sit for older cats before and have experience with special feeding instructions as well as giving correct medicine dosage at specific times. I don’t mind playing with kittens or high energy cats (and definitely don’t mind feeding them treats😂)

Hanna dropped in twice a day to care for our cats while we were out of town. She is super friendly and warm and sweet. Our cats fell in love with her instantly. We invited her husband to visit our place with her , and he was great with the cats too. Hanna was a great communicator. She kept us up-to-date and reached out if she had questions. She also sent us numerous photos and videos of our cats as she cared for them. That’s how we know how good she was with them. For most of us who have pets, they are almost like our kids, and we want to leave them in the best care possible when away. Hanna is the person to take care of your animals. About: I've cared for both healthy cats and cats with underlying conditions. For 10 years I had a cat that was diabetic that I had to administer insulin to. My current cat is 15 and requires a lot of love and attention.My cat Mabel is a rescued kitten/ cat almost 16 years ago on Halloween night while coming home from work , about 4 cars ahead of me something went flying out the window . I was able to stop and pull over due to not having other cars behind me . It was very cold that night and the sun was just starting to set . I got out of my car and looked around for a few minutes but didn't see anything and I got ready to leave I hear faint cry and I turned and looked down into some tall weeds and there she was , this poor malnourished kitten crying for help . To make a long story short I got her home and the day my wife and I took her to vet . They kept her for 3 days running ivs into her . We able to come and after 3 days thinking she wasn't going make it. And here she is still with after such a traumatic start to her life . I am very grateful to have Mabel as my best friend and wouldn't trade for the world . I love you very much Mabel .

I have also grown up on a farm so I am very comfortable caring for large farm animals as well. “My last pet sitter canceled last minute and everything went to crap as my cat pepper "drama king screaming demon" needs medicine for his stomach and anxiety in his old age. Sonny took my black fur ball of rage and distrust and made sure he had his medicine and space as pepper can be a bit "much" she gave lots of pictures and updates and was available within 2 days of booking which I desperately needed. She also worked with me as my family trip had gotten derailed when our car broke down and was willing to watch him for a bit longer as we figured out how to get home. She builds a great rapport and I can tell her own animals adore her and are VERY well socialized. Her kitten peaches ran up to me wanting to say hi and her dog ham was not aggressive in the least meeting me for the first time, he just wanted pats!”

I grew up with a Husky/German Shepard mix which gave me early experience with daily pet care, routines, and understanding dog behavior. I was lucky & got to be there when my former fur baby was born. Her mom let me massage her hips & tummy while in labor. It was her 1st litter & she was awesome!! I adore all dogs and love to learn their different personalities. I never back away from a challenging behavior because I know alot of dogs have experienced trauma just like alot of people. I work full and my schedule can change week to week but my boss try's to keep it consistent. I typically work 7-6 monday through Wednesday 8-4 on Friday's. I currently have 2 doggo children of my own! ❤️ I walk my own dogs regularly, i have a pretty open schedule for the most part, i do have my own dogs though so i wouldnt be able to stay over but im available for regular check ins and walks, feedings whatever is needed! Your babies will definitely get lots of love and attention from me when im with them. I care for animals as is they were my own children and would do absolutely anything to protect them.

About: I grew up on a farm, so I've raised cats and dogs from an early age. I've had to give plenty of kitties and dogs medicines. I love taking dogs for walks! I have 2 golden retrievers and a couple cats at home that I miss dearly so I'd love to take care of your pets! I am working part time & remote currently, so I have a flexible schedule to fit in dog walk or drop in visits for your pets! I have reliable transportation and am easy to get ahold of. I have been a dog owner for my entire life and grew up on a farm. Dog walking: I try to walk at least two miles with my doggo a day. I can include your best friend in the walk and walk them wherever I need to go. I have been a dog owner all of my life and love getting them out into the world. House sitting: I have house/dog sat for many people from 2 weeks to a weekend. I can also just check in on your doggo if needed. My dog loves to also come along if allowed to meet new friends.

“When I came across Rover and what it was all about, I was positive that this would be a site I would never use. Allowing someone else to care for my dog in their home, was an uncomfortable concept to me. However, when I had a vacation scheduled, and my go-to dog boarding center was booked, Rover was the only option. They seemed to be quite comfortable in their new surroundings by the time I picked them up the next day. Since I presently do not have a fenced yard, it was great for them to have access to a yard for play without having to be leashed. About: Life long animal person, from a young age I took care of farm animals like chickens, goats, pigs, sheep, cats. In my adult life i got a dog. I love working and learning with my dog. A few years ago I started volunteering and fostering through the Berrien county animal services. I truly love fostering and the difference it makes! I plan to foster for a long time. I have strict boundaries on the quality of care I want to provide so I do not take on more than I feel comfortable with. providing a safe emotional environment for your pets is my top priority I have a big yard with a small portion fenced in. I utilize the fenced in area for play and hanging out with dogs. I love hanging out with the pets inside also, I have raised beds set out in the house for relaxing and plenty of couches the dogs are welcome to enjoy. I use crates and gates in the house for peace of mind and relaxation when I am out of the house.
