“This was our first time leaving our dog with someone on rover. We previously left our dog at a boarding place and she didn’t do well at all, was sick didn’t eat etc. We decided leaving her with someone who would be with her most of the time would be best for us. We met with Ralph prior to her stay. He answered all of our questions and he asked good questions as well, so that he got to know her before taking care of her. Ralph watched our dog for 7 days and she did so well! He sent photos and updates and was quick to respond if we reached out for additional updates/questions. Ralph made sure he was home as much as possible for an entire week even saying he went grocery shopping prior to ensure he had groceries and wouldn’t have to leave her alone. We are so happy to have met someone who we can trust and know will take good care of our dog as if it’s his own. We definitely plan to use him again for our next vacation.”

About: I've been around and have helped care for dogs and cats all shapes and sizes. Each one I've personally owned are a part of the family! I would take care of your fur baby like I'd want mine taken care of. I am a homeschooling mom which means your fur baby will be kept company while in my care. During the school year, on Saturdays, we sometimes will have sporting events to go to, as well as some week nights we will go to extracurricular practices but never gone for long! I currently have Midland's rail trail right in my back yard for nice walks if that's something you would like done. When we move in March we will have a large open park right in our backyard! We have a sweet Goldador at home that loves playmates and also two cats that sleep the day away. My three kids (ages 8 - 13) have been shown from the beginning how to respect and love animals and they will be a wonderful addition to keeping your fur babies feeling loved and cared for!

About: My Husband and I have had pets in our family since we both could walk. We have 2 dogs and 2 cats ourselves that are treated better than many humans. We understand the struggle of finding the right fit for your babies when you need to travel and are happy to provide as many updates and pictures as needed to make sure you are comfortable with their care. For Puppies, we both have gone through the puppy phase a few times and understand their needs and chaotic tendencies. All of our animals are up to date on their shots. As a bonus, we both work from home, so your pets will get constant love and attention. We will also be happy to help with any other special care needs such as medications, special diets, brushing, teeth brushing, etc. Our animals are very used to new friends and play nice and we have a big backyard for your baby's enjoyment. If your pet stays with us, they will be loved like family! We both work from home, so, we are able to give potty breaks and enrichment breaks frequently throughout the day. Someone will always be home when we are boarding. We live in a house and have a large fenced in yard. All of our animals have their current vaccinations. We have a large Kennel for our Shepard for when we have to leave the house.

However, my schedule is highly flexible, minimizing the time they are left alone. Cats: Cats may be left unsupervised in a designated, pet-safe room with regular check-ins. Handling Aggressive or Special Needs Pets I have extensive experience with fearful, reactive, and aggressive pets, but clear and honest communication is essential: Cats: I am comfortable handling feral or aggressive cats and will take the necessary time to build trust. I can administer medication as needed, but I require full transparency about their behavior to ensure safety for all. Dogs: I can accommodate dogs with minor behavioral challenges, such as leash reactivity or mild anxiety. However, for safety reasons, I cannot accept: Dogs over 50 lbs who are not at least moderately leash-trained. Dogs requiring a muzzle or choke collar in public settings. Dogs with severe aggression or unpredictable behavior. Double-Booking Policy For the safety and well-being of all pets, I do not double-book boarding, daycare, or walks unless all parties have given consent and a meet-and-greet has taken place. If multiple dogs are staying in my home at the same time, a meet-and-greet is required. Even if the dogs get along, they will not be left alone together unless securely crated. Cats and dogs boarding in my home simultaneously will be kept in separate areas with no contact.

About: I have always loved dogs! I have owned one almost my entire life. I have stayed overnight with friends dogs many times while they're out of town. I am active, so walking and playing will be no problem. My summer is very open, so I hope to be filling my time with your dogs and puppies! I have a few references, that I have house/pet sat for, if you would like to contact them. I love big dogs, medium dogs, small dogs, skinny dogs, fat dogs, all dogs! I had an Airedale Terrier who had ACL repairement surgery twice. This gave me experience with giving medications, rehabilitation & disabled dogs. If your dog loves to play, my parent’s dog, Arlo, is always down for some laps around the yard…If you're missing your dog, we will have a photo shoot and send you as many pictures as needed! Aside from loving dogs (which you unfortunately can't get a degree in) I have a bachelors degree from CMU & a masters degree from Wayne State University. I am a teacher, so love and patience are my middle names. My almost 8 year old son is also a dog lover and will be helping me give the best care possible. About: It has been a life long endeavor to rescue, re home and care for animals. I am proud to be an animal lover and pet parent. Presently I have 3 cats (all rescues), 4 dogs(3 rescues; one foster), a reptile handler(4 bearded dragons;4 leopard geckos) and an accomplished aquarium enthusiast. About: I've always loved animals of every kind. Growing up we've owned everything from rats, guinea pigs, cats, dogs, ferrets, and even a fox. For years, Friends and family have relied on me to watch their pets, because they know I'll take care of them as if they were my own. About: My Husband and I have had pets in our family since we both could walk. We have 2 dogs and 2 cats ourselves that are treated better than many humans. We understand the struggle of finding the right fit for your babies when you need to travel and are happy to provide as many updates and pictures as needed to make sure you are comfortable with their care. For Puppies, we both have gone through the puppy phase a few times and understand their needs and chaotic tendencies. All of our animals are up to date on their shots. As a bonus, we both work from home, so your pets will get constant love and attention. We will also be happy to help with any other special care needs such as medications, special diets, brushing, teeth brushing, etc. Our animals are very used to new friends and play nice and we have a big backyard for your baby's enjoyment. If your pet stays with us, they will be loved like family! We both work from home, so, we are able to give potty breaks and enrichment breaks frequently throughout the day. Someone will always be home when we are boarding. We live in a house and have a large fenced in yard. All of our animals have their current vaccinations. We have a large Kennel for our Shepard for when we have to leave the house.
About: I've worked with animals off all kinds, ages, sizes, and requirements since I was 10. Everyone i know comes to me for pet help/care. I take a special intrest in training. I currently have a border collie mix who i practice sports such as agility and bikjoring. She also love trick training and obedience training. I was in a vet course in high school for two years so I've got plenty of experience with all sizes and species of animals. There i learn how to give oral medication, signs of parasites/disease, dog body language and the importance of mental & physical stimulation that sent me on my way to being a dog nerd. In my own home I provide the same service. I want you to be comfortable with where your dog will be visiting and know the environment they will be in, prior to staying. “This was our first time leaving our dog with someone on rover. We previously left our dog at a boarding place and she didn’t do well at all, was sick didn’t eat etc. We decided leaving her with someone who would be with her most of the time would be best for us. We met with Ralph prior to her stay. He answered all of our questions and he asked good questions as well, so that he got to know her before taking care of her. Ralph watched our dog for 7 days and she did so well! He sent photos and updates and was quick to respond if we reached out for additional updates/questions. Ralph made sure he was home as much as possible for an entire week even saying he went grocery shopping prior to ensure he had groceries and wouldn’t have to leave her alone. We are so happy to have met someone who we can trust and know will take good care of our dog as if it’s his own. We definitely plan to use him again for our next vacation.”

About: I grew up on a farm and have always had pets. Cats, dogs and even a cow and chicken or two. I strongly believe our pets are family members just like our human family. About: I've been around and have helped care for dogs and cats all shapes and sizes. Each one I've personally owned are a part of the family! I would take care of your fur baby like I'd want mine taken care of. I am a homeschooling mom which means your fur baby will be kept company while in my care. During the school year, on Saturdays, we sometimes will have sporting events to go to, as well as some week nights we will go to extracurricular practices but never gone for long! I currently have Midland's rail trail right in my back yard for nice walks if that's something you would like done. When we move in March we will have a large open park right in our backyard!
